Found this coffee shop by walking by one morning, and was positively surprised. The coffee was smooth and the croissant flaky and buttery. Service was also friendly. I enjoyed sitting outside, limited space.

Had a great time at Chapter 72! Ellie was absolutely fantastic! She served one of the best (Blood Orange) Negroni I've ever had! Perfectly balanced and expertly crafted. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere made for a great night out. I’ll definitely be back!

Went looking for a local café and found this hidden gem tucked on the corner of barking road. We decided to have our brunch here and the Service was amazing, Food was amazing and Staff were lovely. Prices are nice and affordable too. Will be visiting more often.

There was a bit of confusion on ordering a chicken panini but we got there at the end as it was not on their menu. The kitchen staff was willing to make it for us which was nice of them. Restaurant was clean and the ingredients used were all decent quality.

The best coffee shop ☕️ my fav coffee shop. It's by a lake with an amazing view, its the perfect spot. I love coming here at all times esp in the mornings it's peaceful and calm, the staff are friendly and they work so hard. Its a family run buissness so respect to them. The shop makes a difference, for example you get some elderly people that are lonely (some I know) and they would come spend time in the place where its peaceful. 10/10

A nice little cafe in the park, overlooking the lake. The coffee and cake I had were both very good, the lady who served me was absolutely lovely and helped me carry my order to a table outside.

Laid back coffee shop, with decoration that is the opposite of minimalism! I visited on a Saturday morning, intrigued by the name of the place, and it was already buzzing! Some people were working away in their laptops and some chatting with friends. There are lots of coffee, drinks, simple pastry and breakfast options. I found a table and got my almond latte, which was frothy and good quality. Loved drinking my coffee, while people watching. Such a unique place!

Our 1st stop in London from the hotel. Cool themed coffee shop & cozy. Diners shares table & seems no issue. We only had coffee & drinks before having dinner.

Early Saturday morning, breakfast, staff friendly, and didnt have to wait to long before the meal arrived. (A huge plate) made the meal look small. 😃

Leaving this review. Not just for the food (it was decent nevertheless), but for how I saw the staff treating the customers. Particularly the elderly customers, with care and love. Simply gestures of kindness. Holding the door. Refusing to keep the change from another. And even tying the shoe lace of a gentleman didn’t realise it was untied. Very few places have common decency for the fellow human. But this is one such place.

Reliable greasy spoon. English cooked breakfasts with some tiny Turkish flourishes. A husband and wife team. The husband cooks out back. The wife runs the shop and has great rapport with her regulars.

really nice place to study! the pastries and drinks are perhaps on the pricier side for a student (around £3 for the almond croissant and £4 for the soy matcha latte) but all in all, both items were delicious (almond croissant was warm and flaky!) and i think its worth it, especially given that they don’t mind how long you stay there for. it didn’t feel like there was any pressure for me to leave or order more things during my time there. staff are very friendly and bring your order to where you’re sat i stayed for around 4 hours (8am-12pm) and only left because i needed to use the toilet but was sat by the door so i didn’t want to risk my things being stolen… although it did seem as though it would be safe to leave your belongings for a few minutes, leave unattended at your own risk ! this was a saturday and it didn’t start to get busy until around 11:45-12ish would definitely come here again but maybe just sit further away from the exit so i can leave my things there to use the toilet

Predominantly a workspace cafe, but they have some tables reseved for people who just want to have a coffee and food , which I really appreciated. The atmosphere it calm, modern, and has lots of varied seating options for those who are using it as a working space. The coffee was nice and the brownie was very good. Seating already mostly taken at 1pm on a Sunday.

Great spot for studying/working Laptop friendly, power plugs spread around conveniently. Fills up quickly but stays quiet and work friendly. Coffee is delicious but I didn’t like their overnight oats and theyd ran out of the falafel sandwich that I wanted to get initially (even though I came at 8:10, which I thought was pretty early!) Best part is the helpful and friendly staff. I asked for a space to pray and the lovely worker was very helpful and patient. Good place overall and I’ll definitely visit again!

Wonderfully decorated café and coworking space. Lots of charging spots available and variety of seats to choose from. Does get busy fairly quickly but atmosphere is worth it to get you into that work flow. Food and drink very nice, reasonably priced for location.

This was a gem of a find! Let's start with the vibe, the most picturesque way to eat a meal, by the beauty of a lake amongst lush green! The food at the cafe is also surprisingly tasty. It is neither cheap nor expensive. I was happy to pay the price I did and get the food as well as the experience! Highly recommend the sandwiches here - huge portion size, and very very tasty. Even the pancakes were amazing and again served in a huge portion size.

Super busy but you can see why! Delicious menus & coffees on offer so worth the wait! It’s also a great vibe on a cold sunny winters day to be in the thick of it and then have a stroll

A great brunch spot if you know what you’re getting yourself in to! If visiting on a weekend, you will queue to order, you will have long waiting times for your food (50mins on a Sunday at 2pm), it will be busy and potentially loud music, but that’s what Pear Tree Battersea is about. The atmosphere is great, the food and coffee is great and the setting also great. Not for everyone but a real go-to spot to meet friends after a run on the weekend.

£5 for three filling omelette with chips and beans is a good price. Swift nice service and overall good place for good meal, for not so London's price. Definitely recommended to visit and try.

Lots of late teens hanging around outside made for a difficult atmosphere, food was fantastic when it came though. Very efficient friendly service

I must say I was passing by so many times and never had a wish to come inside. Because of so many smoking men outside. I had a weird feeling to go through it with the buggy and a child in it. But I was quite surprised when first came in. It is cozy place that offer quite a lot of cakes and desserts. Coffee tastes good. Unfortunately I can't say that my pancakes were super yummy but pretty much ok. Girls working on till and barista were really friendly and smiling.

Such a lovely cafe and the morning staff is so friendly. Really made me feel at home. I had breakfast there every morning 💛
