This is the best cafe in London… hands down. The food is super tasty, the prices are good and the owner is so lovely. You will feel at home in cafe Parisienne, with so many breakfast and lunch options. I always go for a breakfast, with the full Parisienne being my favourite. Everyone must go here!!!!!!!!!!!

A real special little gem of a cafe run by beautiful happy folk. The food is really tasty with special attention given to each item on the plate. The prices are surprisingly low given the quality and location (no complaints there). Will definitely revisit!

LOVE Cafe Parisienne, this is one of those breakfast spots where you just want to go on a rainy day, on a sunny day, on a snowy day even! The food was literally the all you could ask for from a traditional English breakfast spot comfort food, portions are great, prices are very reasonable. They also arrive within minutes of the order being taken. The owner was super friendly, genuinely kind to people. Customer service was great, I saw someone who wasn’t sure if they liked the dish and the owner immediately offered to take back the entire dish for and asked them to order anything else they like!

Amazing restaurant with very cheerful Turkish people. I was looking something to eat in budget at jacket potatoes 🍲 with broast chicken 🐔 made my day. In last he gave me a Turkish sweet sweetie. I recommend it.

I have been loving 166 since moving down to Battersea and it’s just perfect. The staff are lovely, there’s a great variety of fresh food and tasty drinks on offer. (The Sourdough toasties are particularly good!) Really relaxed place to work on weekdays and nice vibe on the weekends. They have fun events like painting as you drink your coffee from time to time as well. Cannot recommend enough! P.S. Come here for the best hot chocolate in London!

A fantastic spot to grab a quick coffee + cake or a sit down brunch. Sonia and Peter treat their customers like royalty and have great coffee too! Got to try their homemade Matcha / Coffee Buns!

I recently visited there and was absolutely impressed by the entire experience! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.The staff is incredibly friendly, always greeting customers with a warm smile and providing excellent service. The coffee is outstanding — rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Snacks were fresh and delicious. You can tell that everything here is made with high-quality. It is a hidden gem that I highly recommend.

On my way to the underground I found this amazing Greek Coffee shop. I got a yummy Vegan Spinach Pastry and decaf soya latte. Delicious!

This place is it one of the best coffee, food and sweets shop. It is a true London gem. Everything is freshly done and everything tastes so good. The staff are really friendly and inviting. The atmosphere is very positive and cozy, it almost feels like you are in the cozy shop of the sitcom FRIENDS. Every time I visit the creamery I end up spending about 2 hours in. I love going to that place it has it all savory, sweet, hot and cold. With friendly staff around. I love it!

Really nice new venue. Plenty of seating that's well spaced out. I like that you're not squished next to other tables etc. I feel like this area has been screaming out for a coffee shop open on weekdays so very happy to see this place open. The coffee is delish and the staff are sweet and friendly. If doing take out, do take your own cup!

Great new outpost of Monmouth to expand on their old spot in the railway arches. Always super friendly staff and rarely a wait. This place has multiple seating options and a loo, and is open during the week with everything from pain au chocolat to canelles to quiche to snack on. Lots to draw people to this buzzing location right in the heart of the food scene.

Fantastic addition to the local coffee scene around Bermondsey station. So nice that Monmouth has expanded into this space with ample seating. Same great coffee, and also pastries from Little Bread Pedlar, which are baked around the corner. You can buy freshly roasted beans here as well, which I do every week for brewing at home. Super friendly staff and expertly made espresso beverages mean that I will be here quite often!

The best coffee in the whole area, if you are a connoisseur. Impeccable service, really friendly and attentive staff and very talented and well trained. Best coffees and matches, avo on toast and pastries. They do not have a kitchen as it is a small coffee shop so no eggs. And seating is hard wood, but otherwise very conveniently located right at exit of Battersea Park train station, on the bus stop. Highly recommended.

Baristas are pleasant. Coffee was good. Blueberry muffin was amazing with a creamy, not too sweet filling. It's small inside, but I still recommend it!

This place deserves nothing less than 5 stars! I’ve been here three times, and it just keeps getting better. The coffee is exceptional—the best in the area. The service is always friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The blueberry muffin is delicious, and the cozy seating makes it a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee. Highly recommend!

Really great coffee, lovely staff, and nice bakes on offer. My only complaint is a lack of gluten free baked good options. But that aside, I will happily keep coming here going forward!

Flat white is average - slightly disappointed as there was not much aroma from the bean. Microfoam was amazingly done tho. Tried a bunch of the pastries - namely the ricotta cheesecake, miso cookie and cinnamon buns & the gay one sandwich which were all alright. We particularly enjoyed the naughty one sandwich!

Tried both the peanut butter/ chocolate cookie and the cinnamon bun. Both delish and vegan. Their filter coffee and cold brew also come highly recommended. They also stock a good brand of kombucha. Lovely friendly service.

This place is my go-to neighbourhood spot! The staff are always quick and friendly, and the coffee/pastries are delicious. My only note is they always seem to run out of croissants, no matter what time I get there. I would love to see more stocked so I could actually try one!

What a great place to stop for a coffee. The staff were friendly and attentive. The place was super busy, but still places to sit. The traditional Filipino cakes were well made fresh on site. The coffee was very high quality. We wish this team much success in 2025.

I am beyond thrilled that Kapihan has opened their new location in Battersea. If you want true Filipino coffee and bakery this is the place for you. Super friendly staff, relaxing decor and atmosphere and superb coffee. A must for me are their 85% chocolate, Pandesal and their famous Bibingkas. An absolute MUST.

What a lovely place! I love how they elevate the classic Filipino pastries. I’ve had the Buko Ube Pie and to me it was life changing. (We don’t have Filipino pastry shops in the Netherlands.) So much buko in a pie, in combination with the ube custard, in a flaky skin; It was just magnificent. I also got the Pan de Asado, Chorizo & 3 cheese pandesal and the Chocolate Churro Bibingka. All so incredible. Both pans were fluffy and moist, not dry at all. The asado tasted great. I liked the chorizo one, as it was something different, but my fave was absolutely the asado. The Biningka was just *chef’s kiss*. I also got a cappuccino (really a sidenote compared to all the pastries), they have great coffee! Would absolutely visit again next time I’m in London. If they had this place in Amsterdam, I would without a doubt be a regular.

It is an amazing coffee shop, which I love to frequent on my walks. The staff are ever so kind, helpful and polite. Love coming here and trying all the different cakes, sustainable drinks and very tasty coffee. I totally recommend this establishment.

At a relatively high price point, the breakfast is a bit pricey for what you get. One could argue that the location and ambiance contribute to the cost, but it's still an expensive meal for what's offered.

Ok, if you want the traditional London cafes to survive, don’t walk past Al’s for a more costly and pretentious version of brunch, it’s all here. It’s proper British food, with good portions and it’s tasty and filling. The decaf coffee was flavourful and tasted like good coffee :) we will be back again when we visit. It’s cosy and friendly, and it’ll fill you up before a walk along the Thames.

Really good food at Goodvalley loved them mural on the wall inside parking like anywhere in England a problem but not such a problem here as the street is quite quiet but you will be on yellow lines

I've lived around the corner in Bermondsey Street for six years and went to Al's Cafe for the first time this week. My partner has been by himself a few times when he says he needs some carbs. On this occasion i decided to go with him and I really enjoyed my veggie breakfast with my fried egg well done as requested. They said we could take our dog inside and gave her a sausage which she ate in a matter of seconds. It's a well executed traditional cafe or greasy spoon serving an array of breakfasts along with sandwiches and jacket potatoes. The service is prompt and super friendly. The interiors are clean and welcoming. On my visit there were a mix of locals, office workers having meetings and tradespeople. It is a great place to enjoy a traditional breakfast which is value for money.

First time going here with my mate to get some food. Friendly staff, can have a good laugh and lovely environment to indulge in whatever you decide to get here. Would recommend for a decent English breakfast.
