I love Kate‘s café. It’s real authentic Ghanaian and food. Here with my best friend and I always leave feeling full! Flavours are on point as usual. I got tilapia with fried yam, shito and muko. I’m Nigerian and love this place

A simple, no thrills (apart from the sound system), budget friendly exposure to a taste of Ghana. Great flavour, huge portions, separate hand washing facility for washing hands and live dj with afrobeat. If you don't like music, this is not for you. If you are looking for a pampering service, this is not for you. If you are looking for good food, a full belly, and a party vibe, bring the right crowd, and you are good to go! You order your meal, pay for it, and sit down and wait. No thrills, straightforward. Take away containers are available (and needed) for 50 pence. (You can't be shy of pepper).

Lots of tasty Ghanaian dishes, the portions are excellent and the service is great. I would highly recommend visiting Kate’s Cafe if you after some home away from home, Ghanaian food!

Food was amazing. Second visit. Waiting staff member not as welcoming as previously visit. nandos style ordering system ( can be subject to change in staff discretion 🤷🏿‍♀️) so be prepared and ask if unsure! Pretty much sear yourself and remember the table number when you order. (In reference to the service - that staff member might have been having an off day- I hope) Service was also a lot slower than the previous visit and a couple of mistakes in our order. Resolved before we left.. foods is good almost as good as Mama's cooking🥰. If you go with friends and family you will always have a good visit! Large portions. Takeaway boxes 50p. Prepare for takeaway I'd like me your eyes are bigger than your stomach 😂. Your company will make the atmosphere 🥰
