Visited for a forest full of Christmas magic, absolutely loved it from start to finish! Staff were fab, great food and drinks selection. Magical experience for the kids following the trail and the lady at the craft table was super friendly and lots of fun! Lady and gent supervising fire pit - Marsh mallows and spiced cider were very polite and friendly too! There was live music, mainly Christmas, lots of people up dancing, really lovely. A brilliant start to our festivities, thanks so much x

We found This Green Moon by chance when looking for local wedding venues and, it ended up being the only place we saw as we knew it would be perfect. Ash & Paul from the moment we met them and agreed dates were absolutely incredible, making sure every detail was covered for our wedding day. The setting is beautiful but, was made even more special by all the work the team put in on the run up to our wedding and surpassed all our expectations. Every member of the team were amazing and did everything possible to make sure us and our guests had the best time. I could write chapter and verse about This Green Moon and have thanked them endlessly for making our wedding exactly how we wanted it to be.

We held our wedding at This Green Moon in early May 2024, and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Ash, Paul and the team were incredible from first meeting them through to organising everything on the day. They helped us plan our day, gave really helpful insight and recommendations from their experience at other events, and on the big day made everything run so smoothly there was absolutely nothing to worry about. The whole team made our wedding so special; our friends and family are still talking about how great the venue looked, how friendly the team were and how good an atmosphere there was. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We had our wedding at This Green Moon last month. If you are thinking about booking them for your special day or a party DO IT! I can't recommend them enough. Ashleigh and Paul and the whole TGM team could not do enough for us. Nothing was out of the question or too much trouble! We had a lot of heartbreak and hurdles leading up to the wedding. So I needed all the support I could get. They took all the pressure away with their expertise and calm beautiful ways. Plus have you seen the site? It's just magic 🏕️ We had a 140 plus guests with a whole range of needs and likes but they made it work with ease. The forestry trail for the kiddies was amazing giving their parents 2 hours off to boogie. The choice of drinks from the bar was incredible, the sounds systems brilliant, the staff so accommodating and clearly love their jobs. If you want an outdoor wedding but feel overwhelmed by the prospect of it book This Green Moon. They have the experience and set up, anything they don't have they know where to source it. They have a huge list of recommended suppliers, but if what your after isn't there, they will work with you to make sure you get what you're heart's desire. The weather on our wedding day was grey and damp, but in the lit up woodland haven of TGM it just added to the magic. There's plenty of covering from the elements and the fire pit in the centre of the tents kept all our guests warm whilst toasting marshmallows. I could go on and on. I 100% recommend The Swanky Marquee Company for a wedding Marquee. They did an excellent job of ours in February 2022. After being let down by the original company I booked with (Max at Marquee Events) Toni took our wedding on and her team made it perfect!! James and his team battle thru 2 storms an EXTREMELY muddy field and never complained once whilst putting the marquee up. It looked amazing and I'm so pleased I would definitely recommend Swanky Marquees

Utterly Blown away! We had a vision for our wedding and didn't think it would be possible. We have booked these guys for our wedding next year. They had a great choice of marquees, with unique ideas and could not do enough to help. We cannot wait to get married, and to see it all come together. We were so nervous about how we would achieve what we wanted, but Toni and Ben made it all sound easy and we left the meeting feeling like we were in safe hands. We had contacted other venues and companies but none gave us the personal touch that we were looking for. First wedding and last hopefully! so we want to make sure everything is just perfect. My advice is; don't hesitate, get them booked for your wedding or event as they are getting booked up, our first date was already booked. :)

Marquee Events has been fantastic throughout this pandemic. Today would have been my event hosted by Marquee Events, this has now been moved early next year. The company directors Max Johnson & Daniel Greenwood have been amazing in helping me move the event with ease and helping me keep calm throughout this transition. I was lucky enough to attend their open day earlier this year where I couldn’t help but take photographs of how beautiful it looked.

The Swanky Marquee company were absolutely fabulous, we used them for our wedding and the stretch tent looked fantastic! We would highly recommend them, Toni and her team did a brilliant job and were extremely professional and helpful throughout - thankyou.

We recently held our wedding party here and it is an amazing venue. Perfect for creative couples who are looking to do things slightly differently. There are very few limitations to what you can do and the team at the hall will help advise how the space has been used before to give you an idea. You also get the keys for the weekend which means it’s great for setting up and de-rig as well as working with suppliers. Best wedding venue EVER!

Weddings Celebration, great venue, thoroughly enjoyed. Great size inside and outside and you can run your own bar and do your own catering, setting up, decorating etc. Would definitely recommend if you're wanting to do all your own thing.

We visited here in 2022 then again this year WoW what a venue spacious for Premium Inflatables indoors & outdoors. This is a very well kept venue clean just like our fully sanitised inflatables. Great communication from the management making it so easy to set up & take down really is pleasure coming up to Thorner Victory Hall. We held our wedding here recently and it was absolutely amazing. From our first visit 18 months before hand we knew it was the right place for us. It offered us a flexible venue where people could stay on site and was a gorgeous woodland setting with the money going to a brilliant children's charity. The whole set up and ethos appealed to us both. The team there are so friendly and helpful and work really hard to create the perfect day for you. We were able to have guests staying in the bunk accommodation and also camping in the field in their own tents and in hired bell tents. It was so good to have chance to mix over breakfast and it made for a very relaxing start to the day. There are lots of different areas that you can make use of. We had our ceremony in the woodland which was magical. The courtyard is a lovely space for the reception and there is plenty of room if guests want a quiet corner during the day. As it is a DIY venue you can style it how you want and do things in your own way rather than in a set way which was very appealing for us. Being able to hire in different caterers for different parts of the weekend was great and went down very well with our guests. So many people commented on how lovely the venue was , how relaxing and comfortable the place was. It feels like you are in the heart of the countryside but it is only a short drive from North Leeds. We absolutely loved having our wedding here and would highly recommend it.

What an amazing venue for a wedding - beautiful woodland walks, a gorgeous barn and lounge area, fire pits and cosy garden areas - and lots of bunkrooms for people to kip over! Amanda and her team were wonderful throughout - positive, friendly, professional and flexible, they all worked hard to make sure our day was special and ran smoothly. And amazing to know we are supporting a fab charity with our wedding day - would definitely recommend.

Where do we even start… We fell in love with Lineham Farm during our first visit, and booked it shortly after for our wedding venue. After a year of planning it was amazing to see everything come together. One of the pros of Lineham Farm is being able to have the venue for the full weekend so all of your loved ones can enjoy every moment! There’s so much flexibility, you’re able to add so many personal touches and there are so many different spaces available within the venue. Jenny is fantastic, professional, helpful, efficient and there isn’t anything that is too much trouble! Lineham Farm is also such a wonderful charity that does so much good, it’s a bonus to know that your money is going towards something great! Our wedding was described as a ‘posh mini festival’ and that was exactly the kind of vibe we were after! Couldn’t recommend Lineham Farm enough.

I had a lovely time with my family. It's a good place. The only thing is that you can't plan anything for late evening as there are no lights on the road to the place and also the road is too narrow only enough for one car to pass.
