Absolutely one of my new favourite places to go! The staff are always super polite and welcoming, and do whatever they can to ensure you have a lovely experience. Food is A-Ma-Zing!!! And super affordable. I recommend you get their homemade cakes 😍 Highly recommend!

I've tried both the vegan and regular breakfasts, and both were delicious. The vegan breakfast is made with avocado, tomato, hash browns, mushrooms, beans, and toast, and it's packed with flavor. The regular breakfast is also very good, with all the classic ingredients you'd expect. I've also tried the sausage rolls. They're absolutely delicious, and they're a great option if you're looking for something a bit more substantial. For dessert, I recommend the biscoff or fruit bun. Overall, I highly recommend FirstLight Bistro. It's a great place to go for breakfast, lunch, or a coffee and cake. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.
The First Light Bistro, now under new management, has truly transformed into a culinary gem. The star of the kitchen, Amy, has worked wonders with the menu, delivering dishes that are both inventive and delectably satisfying. Each bite is a testament to her skill and passion for cooking. The service is equally commendable—prompt, attentive, and unfailingly courteous, which adds to the overall delightful dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an exceptional meal. However, due to its growing popularity, it’s advisable to book a table in advance.
Fantastic little cafe in st Margaret’s Dover the good was amazing and the portion sizes were generous aswell nice atmosphere and the staff were all friendly and talkative aswell would definitely recommend to anyone in the area
Smashing place, tucked away at the top of the village just before you head down to the bay. Great food, lovely people, very welcoming. Now under new management, it's even better!
