The absolute most perfect wedding venue ever! Mapperton had everything that we wanted and we absolutely fell in love with it, no venue in the area compared!! It was a complete blank canvas in the coach house which we really liked and there were many ceremony options (inside and outside) but we opted with the croquet lawn which was simply stunning. The gardens are sensational and many of our guests have said it’s the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever been to. There’s two cottages on site too so we used one for the bridal party and then one for the grooms, this was such an amazing option to have and really added to the whole weekend experience! Holly our wedding co-ordinator was incredible, so kind and understanding. No question was too big and she helped us quickly on any wedding advice / help that we needed. We really appreciated her being there through anything that we needed, she was amazing on the day and it all ran smoothly which was completely all her hard work but also leading up to the wedding too. She helped so much & we truly appreciate her! She really understood our vision. If you are thinking of booking Mapperton for your wedding then DO IT, it was simply a dream come true that we will remember for the rest of our lives!! :)

WHAT A VENUE! Having shot at venues all over Mapperton is just incredible. It has everything, and I mean everything. Multiple choices for the ceremony, STUNNING grounds, gorgeous barn. It honestly has it all. The staff are wonderful, so welcoming and really take care of their suppliers - which means they take care of their couples. It's a dream venue!

The most perfect day at a dream venue Patrick and I had the most incredible experience getting married at Mapperton. From the moment we first visited we knew it was the perfect venue for us due to how flexible, versatile and stunning it is. Holly our amazing wedding coordinator was one of the reasons we chose the venue and is a true asset to Mapperton. She was there to take us through the whole process, being a fountain of knowledge for amazing suppliers in the South West and nothing was too big an ask. Most importantly she made sure our day ran like clockwork and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Our guests have given us so many compliments saying it is the favourite wedding they have ever been to and this is all thanks to the hard work put in by the team at Mapperton. We can't wait to pop in, take a walk around the stunning Italian gardens and visit the Mapperton family to remember our special day.

Well what can I say?! Our wedding day was an absolute dream from start to finish. The team is absolutely incredible, with special shout outs to Emma for her impeccable organisation and to Andrew for his flawless service. We had several mobility challenged members of our party and they left this event feeling like they’d been treated like absolute queens! Nothing was too much trouble, they were always checking everyone was happy and often anticipated what we wanted before we had even realised! We were in super safe hands and could fully relax into the day and just enjoy it. We will forever treasure these special memories that were made possible by this incredible team of people.

Josie set up the tables for afternoon tea for my hen party and also then did our champagne tower for our wedding! She made everything run so smoothly and took the stress out of it. Easy to communicate with and would definitely recommend!!

Winterborne were absolutely brilliant and so helpful throughout our wedding journey. They decorated our ladders with faux plants, and the results were stunning—the photos speak for themselves. We received so many compliments, and you honestly couldn’t tell the plants were artificial. In the lead-up, the team was incredibly supportive. They ensured everything was set up quickly, allowing us to move on with the rest of the decorations without feeling rushed. They even offered additional staff to help with other decorative elements, which was such a kind gesture. We just can’t recommend Winterborne enough!

We hired Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding in July and honestly it was the easiest, best decision we made for our big day! Dawn was so helpful and understood our vision the entire process. She really listened and ordered in pieces we needed to really bring our colour scheme and vision to light. I can’t recommend them enough!

Winterborne Hire and Styling were incredible at making our day extra special. I visited their lovely show room a few months prior to our wedding. After discussing what we needed, they produced some spectacular arrangements to suit the theme for our wedding and to match our fresh flowers. They delivered them on time and installed them ready for the big day, so we did not need to lift a finger. We are so glad we went with them as the arrangements really elevated our ceremony area. Absolutely fantastic job from Winterborne Hire & Styling! We rented some beautiful table decorations and flower pillars that complimented our wedding venue perfectly.They have a great range of items in their showroom and Dawn was so helpful and patient in taking through what items to choose. They are very professional and coordinated directly with the venue and had a delivery option making it seamless and efficient (one less thing for me to worry about!). Highly recommend :)

Sarah makes light work of all the intricacies and finishing touches to make your day special. Her 1st hand experience running weddings end to end from planning through to the last dance on the big day shows through in how she listens to what you want, suggests lots of fab ideas and is totally open to whatever makes your day personal and special to you.

We booked our wedding plans well in advance of the current pandemic for 2021 and found Sweet Forrest to provide us with decoration for the venue. Unfortunately, due the pandemic we had to rethink our big day and Sarah at Sweet Forrest was absolutely marvellous to us. She made the whole process very easy, has been very supportive to us and completely professional. When cancelling our plans, Sarah offered us a refund without any hesitation and processed this instantly. We are so appreciative of this at such a difficult time and would highly recommend Sweet Forrest to anyone looking for wedding decor hire. Thank you Sarah!

Ellie created and delivered our Handfasting Marriage Ceremony. I cannot rate her highly enough. She first offered a couple of consultations to get to know us, our story and find out what we wanted from the ceremony. From the offset Ellie was very easy to talk to. She is also incredibly intuitive, so this made the ‘script forming’ stage very easy. She even picked up on subtleties from the ways in which we interacted during our consultations to perfectly represent us as a couple within the ceremony speech. On the wedding day Ellie was super helpful with practical (and emotional) tasks. Her warm and calm approach certainly made my groom feel at ease while he waited! We have had so many glowing reviews from our guests with regards to Ellie and the ceremony. Some family members who are quite religious even said that this was the best wedding they had been to, and that the ceremony was surprisingly inclusive and interesting. Wow, Ellie!! I first enjoyed one of Ellie's ceremony as a guest at a friend's wedding. Her energy, enthusiasm, wit, story telling and care and affection made the ceremony a truly special and memorable time. It was an easy choice when it came to my own wedding who should be our celebrant. Ellie, once again blew the guests away with a ceremony exactly as we wanted - laidback and relaxed but to make every guest fell and play a part. Noone expected to be proper belly laughing throughout and everyone said they've never been to a ceremony like it, but it was they'd been to! Ellie listened to what we thought we wanted and guided us with great ideas and was better than we could have ever imagined. Eternally grateful for making our ceremony so memorable to us and all our guests ❤️

I highly recommend using Ellie from Wild flower ceremonies as your wedding celebrant. Ellie delivered a personal, funny and beautiful ceremony for us. My partner and I had slightly different views on what the ceremony should be with him being slightly more traditional than me. Ellie got the tone so spot on and kept it light hearted and fun whilst still having some of the rituals that I wanted. Beautiful, unique venue, well signposted with fun and quirky accommodation. If you want a magical wedding, with beautiful misty mornings, peacocks and bunnies on dewdropped lawns, this is the venue for you. 10/10 Had a great stay

Such a beautiful place. Went camping and the field was secluded, surrounded by trees and pine forest. Great views all around. Very peaceful quiet and well maintained. Not too many camping pitches. There is a nice covered area with seats and also a fridge, plus place to burn open fires. Nice powerful shower and clean toilets. Owners are really friendly and helpful, will definitely go back.

This is our 3rd time staying, we love this place! We've attended an amazing wedding here, stayed in Monty the motorhome, Bertie the Bus and Dan the van. Each has had everything we need for a short break away. Showers are hot, accommodation and toilets are clean. It's so peaceful and perfect for the kids to safely explore and see wildlife. Also a good base to explore local attractions like monkey world, the tank museum and Beaulieu museum. Dominic and Rachel are very welcoming and friendly, will definitely be returning again

We had our PERFECT wedding at Moonacre in August 2024 and highly recommend!! The venue was beyond magical and suited us perfectly. The planning process was super smooth and we never had any issues at all with Moonacre. Great for: outdoor ceremony, beautiful trees and outdoor space, onsite accomodation, lots of space, flexible entertainment, choose your own catering (really rare in this area for wedding venues!!), relaxed vibe, child-friendly, lots of decoration included, straightforward pricing with no hidden extras, wedding coordinator included, fire pit, whimsical wedding photos surrounded by nature (credit to Tegan Maccann who we absolutely loved :D), bar and bar staff provided/included (drinks packages to choose from and create your own) Not for you if you want: Lots of space for a big bridal party to get ready onsite, winter wedding (it's closed!), bring your own bar Long version: Hayley and Dominic were helpful, friendly, professional and above all flexible. The marquee is really nice and very large, and has enough decor already that we actually didn't spend anything on additional decor for the marquee as we didn't have a formal table set-up. We had an outdoor ceremony with both live and recorded music (they had enough sound equipment to suit our needs!), a relaxed family-friendly BBQ with mixture of indoor and outdoor seating (no seating plan) and lots of garden games and ping pong (hired from Simply Flower - also recommend). We had loads of young kids there and they had a brilliant time running around and there was none of the stress for parents of a formal indoor venue or sit-down meal. After the meal we gathered everyone round the fire pit for our speeches which was magical and made for some lovely photos as everyone was standing grouped together! We had family and friends stay in the onsite glamping accommodation and loads of friend took up the camping option which was a nice surprise - eating bacon sandwiches from a friend's camper van sat round with all the campers the next morning was a lovely moment, as was sitting out by the fire-pit with the final guests at 1am and seeing a shooting star. It was amazing to have a free-flowing wedding day with multiple different spaces for people to mingle and relax or dance to the band, a lot of guests have said it's one of the best wedding venues they have been to :) We got a great discount on the venue hire for booking "short notice" (booking in January for August same year). The only downside for us was that live music has to end at 9pm (although the DJ can carry on beyond that) Photo credit to the highly recommended Tegan Mccann Photography!!

Sopley Mill is an absolutely stunning venue with a passionate team who really take care of their couples and their recommended suppliers! Working with Kelly and the team at the start of the year was a real highlight, allowing one of my couples to enjoy an extra special moment dancing together at The Mill. We had Sopley Mill as our wedding venue and it was truly lovely. Both the inside and outside of the venue have fantastic views and is just beautiful to look around. Plenty of guests commented on how amazing the mill is and I am so glad we had our wedding here. The staff at Sopley Mill are incredibly supportive and helped ensure everything that was organised for the day went smoothly, I cannot say thanks enough to them. They have done an outstanding job for us, I could not be happier! I have included a few photos from the day. Once again I'd like to say how lovely it all was and how happy we are. As soon as we viewed the Mill for our wedding venue, we booked it straight away. We had so many comments of how stunning the venue was and the staff were all fantastic throughout our wedding planning. On the day everything ran so smoothly and they accommodated to all of our needs.
