Truly magical is the only words I can use to describe our wedding decor. I had a vision in mind and put all my trust in "a touch of class". I actually changed venues just so I could use them and I'm so glad I did. From the first message right until the day communication was prompt and informative and the day itself just blew us away ! Our guests commented it was tge most stunning set up they have ever seen and i totally agree. Absolutely perfect in every way !!

The decor was stunning. Everyone complimented the set up of the ceremony room and how lovely the reception tables were. The Photo Booth was a massive hit with everyone. The chocolate foundation was good and the children loved it, as well as the sweet cart. Communication was good and always available for any queries.

I contacted Shana via Facebook a few months ago with regard to using her as our decor supplier. In the build up to our wedding Shana has been nothing short of amazing. She is super patient and accommodating. I gave Shana my vision and she brought it to life and went above and beyond our expectations. Love your work Shana and happy to recommend you to others and even use you again ourselves in the future!

Just got back from 5 nights at Gorwell Farm and had a fabulous time. Great location for exploring, peaceful setting, well equipped and comfortable cottage (Granary). Would definitely recommend and want to go back! The children (aged 12, 10, 10, 10, 8, 6) particularly enjoyed spending time with the horses, tennis, table tennis and basketball. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We chose Gorwell for our wedding in July 2024, booking two years prior. Mary and the Team are fantastic, you can really tell that they want your big day to be a success. Mary was full of recommendations for vendors, which was amazing as it can definitely feel overwhelming. Throughout the communication was fantastic and there was no such thing as a silly question. Gorwell Farm hosted our wedding (and accommodation) and was excellent from beginning to end. It’s. A beautiful, rustic venue but has been fully modernised and updated with all conveniences for a wedding whilst still retaining the rustic feel. All queries were addressed quickly and we couldn’t imagine it being any better.

Gorwell Farm was where we chose to have our wedding this summer, and we could not have chosen a more perfect location for our special day. The cottages are spacious and comfortable for the morning-of preparation, and the barn and surrounding grounds are just idyllic. It really was the perfect space for our wedding. Mary and the team were great in the run-up to the wedding and on the day. It meant we didn't have anything to worry about. Also a shout out to the bar staff who were absolutely fantastic!

We hired Abbots Court for the weekend for an extended staff Xmas party. Incredible venue, that I’ve been to for several weddings. All the team loved it, beautiful house and location. The outside caterers were fantastic. Great cocktail barman provided. I would highly recommend it to anyone, whether a corporate weekend away, friends or a wedding.

I wish I could add more stars! We got married at Abbots Court in May 2023 and I can't recommend it enough as a wedding venue. The house and grounds are absolutely breath-taking in the middle of the countryside and are maintained to the highest standard. We loved that there were so many options from the Victorian Barn for the ceremony, to the gardens for reception drinks to the pavilion for dinner and party and then the house (and the glamping pods!) for the after party. Having our family and friends stay in the house the night before with its huge kitchen, dining room and hot tub and then also in the glamping style pods on the night was amazing and kept the party going in the house bar! Having so many options allowed several people to stay on site which allowed the wedding to go on all weekend. One of the highlights of our wedding was the organisation in the run up to and on the day. This is all down to Cat and her amazing team who expertly put up with all my queries and worries and made everything run smoothly. I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding dreams come true. A truly special venue and we couldn't ask for more. Thank you to everyone involved.

A truly wonderful retreat, set in gorgeous countryside. The decor of the house is tasteful and calming. Lots of different spaces for people to enjoy - great kitchen, dinning room and lounge for larger groups & snug bar for hiding away in. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Christina and the team were very welcoming and helpful. I Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

We booked Abbots Court after a chance viewing and what felt like fate with our dream date becoming free the coming year. We knew the venue suited our vision of the wedding day, but it was the way that the staff saw the whole wedding weekend that filled us with the confidence to book (even with a lot of the venue still CGI drawings!) We were not disappointed when it came to our last planning meeting and seeing everything in its full glory and on the day it was perfect. The ability to have friends stay the weekend with us, the informal but beautiful look and feel of Abbots Court and the amazing staff meant we truly had the best day of our lives. We were able to make a weekend of it by hosting a sports day at the venue the next day and everything was made so easy by Kat and the team. Set up was a breeze, we were given a whole day to prepare and that took the stress out of the big day, which isn’t always a luxury that venues give couples. We booked Abbots Court, Almer Manor and the Shepard’s huts on site - all provided incredible experiences for our guests and the feedback we have had from everyone that stayed has been amazing. The luxury and well thought out venues added to our wedding experience and guests were definitely keen to try and stay again in future! We want to say a massive thank you for everything you did to answer the questions (no matter how big or small) and for all the thought and advice that went into making our day truly about us, and not just a carbon copy or a template that couldn’t be veered from. We had the perfect wedding at Axnoller in June 2017. From the moment we saw it in a magazine we knew we had to choose it. We came to see it about 18 months before the wedding and were blown away by the attention to detail in each house and how focused Alo and Tracy were on delivering the best wedding possible. In the months leading up to the big weekend we met more of the team, including the greatest chef of all time, Gordie, and continued to be cared for in the best way. It may have rained on our big day but the team couldn't have been kinder, making sure that we didn't get too down! The houses were all fantastic and the hot tubs were a particular treat. We had a BBQ on the Friday night and again the Axnoller team could not have been more helpful. The mixture of Alo's fantastic style and Tracy's care, consideration and precision to make sure the day goes amazingly was hugely appreciated. Whether you are having a wedding, a celebration or just a weekend away in any or all of the stunning houses, rest assured you are in for a weekend that you will never forget. Amazing. Thank you!!!

We can not get enough of this venue!!! All our bands love playing here, it is such a great space for live music! iPop & Girls International performed here once again at the weekend and the atmosphere was electric!!

Well to start off, this is the easiest 5 starts that I ever gave in a review. If I could give 20, i would!! We got married at the most incredible, stunning & unique wedding venue that is Axnoller House at the beginning of July and have wished every day since that we could rewind and go back. From when we first stumbled across the venue online last year and arranged to visit one sunny August afternoon, we absolutely fell in love. I could never describe the feeling in our tummies that we had as we looked round the place that day, we knew it was the place where we wanted to hold the most important day of our lives. We were met by Alo the owner who is the most charming, glamorous and lovely lady you will ever meet. She instantly oozed passion and enthusiasm for weddings at Axnoller! She showed us round the entire place letting us take as much time as we needed to ask our one million questions and take all the photos we wanted. She explained that the opportunities and possible arrangements are endless! Axnoller is the incredible stunning setting, and you can make your day exactly how you want it and they will help you organise it all! In the 11 months planning, the team were in constant contact, every week, politely reminding you and letting you know that there are decisions to be made, things need to be ordered etc. etc. - it was like having a wedding planning service for no extra cost! At the same time though, we were left to our own devices, getting in some suppliers they hadn't had before e.g. a pizza van! which some venues can be funny about as they only want to use their own list of contacts. Not a problem at all for Axnoller though! Alo was also fantastic with recommendations for us - they have an entire supplier list they share with you. Alo's incredible taste shown in how she has created Axnoller meant that we knew any recommendation she had would be excellent. We booked immediately her recommendations of string quartet, cake maker, videographer & florist (to name just a few) which saved us trawling the internet aimlessly. Needless to say, they were all fantastic and we couldn't have been happier with their work. When our special weekend finally came round, we couldn't have had a better 3 days. Friday night we had a paella cooked by Gordie the in-house head chef which was excellent! We hired long wooden tables from Virginia's vintage hire (another recommendation) and the Axnoller team set them up in Burgraff garden which was an amazing evening and the best start to our weekend! Everyone was buzzing! Waking up in Axnoller house on the wedding morning was a dream. Our entire day ran like clock work, thanks to Alo & her main event coordinator Tracey who was extremely organised, warm & lovely - we knew when we first met her that she knew exactly what she was doing! I felt so relaxed, care-free and just knew that they had everything under control - exactly how I wanted to feel! We were extremely lucky with the sunshine which pretty much shone all weekend for us as a real bonus. Our ceremony was stunning and unique at the front of Axnoller house - our guests were absolutely wowed by the entire place, saying it feels like somewhere in the South of France! The Sunday was another incredible day for us, the team set us up in the marquee for a BBQ cooked by Gordie and his fab team, Alo took extra care to re-use all of the flowers from the day making the set-up look amazing! We really appreciated that. If you are looking for an incredible venue that is yours for the weekend, ran by amazing people who care so much and provide excellent personable service with care & attention to detail to make your day exactly as you want it, then book Axnoller! You won't be disappointed and will cherish your Axnoller memories for years to come, maybe even booking in another visit - we can't wait for ours already! We can't thank Alo enough for the best weekend of our lives. I can't recommend this venue highly enough!

We had an incredible wedding weekend at Axnoller. Absolutely everyone that came was blown away with the beautiful venue, accommodation and the views. We had our classy but relaxed and personal wedding on the Saturday and then had a fun fancy dress party day on the Sunday. We had the time of our lives and every need was met. We were incredibly impressed by all the employees as they were professional and respectful. We can't wait to go back with our friends and family for a holiday to enjoy what all the accommodation has to offer. Thank you to all the Axnoller team for giving us the best wedding ever!
