Having Rosie as part of our wedding day (and the months leading up to it) was one of the best decisions we made. She was so calm, composed and “on it” throughout the whole process that we couldn’t help but feel that way too! She is incredibly knowledgeable and just bubbling with amazing ideas. Having a marquee wedding on our family farm, we really appreciated her expert eye but also her focus on the environment and sustainability. My only regret is that we discovered Rosie about halfway through our planning - I only wish we could have worked with her from the beginning.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rosie in my capacity as a wedding celebrant. She is a consummate professional has a fabulous sense of style, is hugely creative and an enviable address book of contacts from which to draw. Instantly likeable and someone you just know will be a constant calm, focused and reassuring presence who will help turn your dream for your event into a reality. Her dedication to the job has no bounds. I love this image of her working hard despite the near tropical conditions at a wedding we worked on together in the summer last year. I couldn't recommend her more highly. She also happens to be a massive supporter of celebrant led ceremonies!

Nicky was so helpful! I had a vague idea about what I wanted, and she sent me a ton of ideas from her warehouse (even more than what's listed on the website). The prices are super affordable and her customer service is top notch! I'd highly recommend!

Nicky was very accommodating with the items i required. She send me photo's of what i wanted, to give me an idea on what i was hiring along with making the whole process nice and straightforward. Once the items were collected (by my dad) and bought to the venue i could certainly see Nicky looks after her props as the quality of the items were really good. I would thoroughly recommend Nicky and her business to anyone conducting any number of events not just weddings. If you are looking to conduct an event in Dorset, definitely check out this company. 5 * from me

Oh my gosh, where to begin, Katie (Style and Wonder) was an absolute dream to have as our wedding planner. She was reassuring and calm when we were feeling stressed and creative and inspiring when we needed ideas. Nothing was too much to ask for, she was friendly and organised and always on hand for any random questions we had, we really felt supported during the whole wedding process. In regards to styling our wedding looked even better than we could have imagined. She took our ideas initially and the styling matched exactly what we had asked for. Katie organised the flowers as well and all the guests commented on how beautiful they were. We highly recommend Style and Wonder for anyone looking for a wedding planner and florist!

We simply can't thank Katie enough for creating the most magical wedding we could possibly wish for! From the first time we met Katie, we instantly relaxed knowing that she just got it, and understood exactly what were hoping for with the whole vibe and styling. Throughout the whole process, Katie made it really enjoyable and always kept us calm and focused - she has a very special and unique manner in which you have full confidence and trust in what she will deliver. We threw lots of random ideas her way, none of which ever phased her and she always came up with some excellent ideas. For the wedding weekend itself, Katie worked tirelessly on the styling, decor and overall ambience to create something we will never forget. All of our guests were amazed with the attention to detail and how magical it felt - and this was all down to Katie. We truly can't thank you enough and would recommend you without any hesitation. Katie was everything we could have wanted - from decor to logistics - she helped make our wedding day look as special as it felt! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for the day. Katie is and has been an absolute dream. She took our mad ramblings and vision and turned it into absolute perfection, our wedding day was exquisite. Her talent for venue styling and floristry is utterly incredible. Our flowers, not just our bouquets but also the general venue flowers, were simply stunning, she absolutely nailed the colour theme. It was better than we could have even imagined. There were so many comments on the day about how beautiful the venue looked. Not only this but Katie provided us with wedding planning services too. As we were so far away this was invaluable. We knew we were in safe hands. Nothing was too much trouble, and our late night/panicked emails and messages were met with nothing but love and enthusiasm. She provided a much needed sense of calm when the inevitable wedding stress and worry took over. No words can actually do Katie's work, or how much she has meant to us over the past 18 months, justice.

The band Guilty Pleasures played at our wedding in July and absolutely smashed the night! From their very first number they had everyone up and dancing and as their name might suggest, they play an eclectic set that gets people dancing! When planning a wedding communication is key and Lee and the team were fantastic in terms of explaining how they work, what they need and how we could help. They really made our big day a party and we received so many comments from guests about how good the band were - Would highly recommend them to anyone!

We had our PERFECT wedding at Moonacre in August 2024 and highly recommend!! The venue was beyond magical and suited us perfectly. The planning process was super smooth and we never had any issues at all with Moonacre. Great for: outdoor ceremony, beautiful trees and outdoor space, onsite accomodation, lots of space, flexible entertainment, choose your own catering (really rare in this area for wedding venues!!), relaxed vibe, child-friendly, lots of decoration included, straightforward pricing with no hidden extras, wedding coordinator included, fire pit, whimsical wedding photos surrounded by nature (credit to Tegan Maccann who we absolutely loved :D), bar and bar staff provided/included (drinks packages to choose from and create your own) Not for you if you want: Lots of space for a big bridal party to get ready onsite, winter wedding (it's closed!), bring your own bar Long version: Hayley and Dominic were helpful, friendly, professional and above all flexible. The marquee is really nice and very large, and has enough decor already that we actually didn't spend anything on additional decor for the marquee as we didn't have a formal table set-up. We had an outdoor ceremony with both live and recorded music (they had enough sound equipment to suit our needs!), a relaxed family-friendly BBQ with mixture of indoor and outdoor seating (no seating plan) and lots of garden games and ping pong (hired from Simply Flower - also recommend). We had loads of young kids there and they had a brilliant time running around and there was none of the stress for parents of a formal indoor venue or sit-down meal. After the meal we gathered everyone round the fire pit for our speeches which was magical and made for some lovely photos as everyone was standing grouped together! We had family and friends stay in the onsite glamping accommodation and loads of friend took up the camping option which was a nice surprise - eating bacon sandwiches from a friend's camper van sat round with all the campers the next morning was a lovely moment, as was sitting out by the fire-pit with the final guests at 1am and seeing a shooting star. It was amazing to have a free-flowing wedding day with multiple different spaces for people to mingle and relax or dance to the band, a lot of guests have said it's one of the best wedding venues they have been to :) We got a great discount on the venue hire for booking "short notice" (booking in January for August same year). The only downside for us was that live music has to end at 9pm (although the DJ can carry on beyond that) Photo credit to the highly recommended Tegan Mccann Photography!!

We hired moonacre for a special birthday celebration in November. What a fantastic venue. Dominic and Rachel were amazing hosts and helped us to pull off a special party. Everyone said what a fantastic venue and hidden gem near Poole. Quirky and fun accommodation, beautiful grounds, fantastic sound and lighting in the marquee, a brilliant dance floor, a well stocked bar….thoroughly recommend for a venue to hire!

On Tuesday 25th April we got married at the beautiful Moonacre site! We were so lucky to have amazing blue skies and sunshine on the actual day - which was definitely unexpected due to the rain during set up! We had a back up plan to use the marquee, but we’re so glad our ceremony took place outside on the woodland platform! We can’t thank Hayley, Dom and the crew enough for all of their help from the moment we booked in January 2022, until pack down after the wedding. The staff on the day helped with so much and did it all with a smile despite being on their feet for hours! Hayley was so helpful with my endless lists of questions and on the day she had such a calming presence… which was very helpful as I did feel my nerves kick in before waking down the aisle! Everything about Moonacre was just PERFECT. The setting, the marquee and facilities just made the day so run so smoothly. If we had to choose one word to sum up the day, it would be “magical”! We’re still on such a high and will never forget our perfect Moonacre wedding! 🖤

Beautiful, unique venue, well signposted with fun and quirky accommodation. If you want a magical wedding, with beautiful misty mornings, peacocks and bunnies on dewdropped lawns, this is the venue for you. 10/10 Had a great stay
