We have just had our wedding at The White Barn in South Petherton. To start with the venue is absolutely gorgeous and it ticks every box! Its new style but old barn theme is just what we wanted. It has incredible in door and out door spaces and lots of different spots you can marry in. You can see the venue online and see what i mean! The main part of the day I wanted to mention was our wedding planner Ashleigh! He is new to the barn but HOLY S**T hes good! I don’t know how he has the energy to go like he does but hes an endless bag of magic! He was on hand all night and the whole build up to the wedding. He made us feel heard and safe leaving our wedding in his hands. Im abit of a control freak and need to know every detail and he let me feel comfortable enough to release the reins and let him do what he does best. And he did! The bar and kitchen staff were also all fantastic and friendly.. i honestly cant fault anyone or anything. I recommend anyone to get married here and if you have a choice on wedding planners… you definitely dont want to miss out on Ash!! Xx

My husband and I were incredibly lucky to have gotten married at The White Barn in June 2024. I had followed The Farm and Field Café on Instagram for quite some time, and just loved it! When I realised there was a wedding venue at the same location, I knew I had to visit! We booked in an appointment and met the lovely Beth. She was just the most lovely human being and I loved her just as much as I loved the barn. It was the only venue we’d looked around but I didn’t need to look anywhere else, we decided there and then that this was the one and were lucky enough to book a date for the following summer. The barn itself and the grounds was just perfect for us, exactly what we wanted and more. Beth and Nat have worked incredibly hard on it and it really shows, it’s such a beautiful place. Beth was our wedding planner and was just amazing through the whole process. She was so supportive of all of our ideas and also helped us when we were struggling. She was more like a friend to us than anything else and we could not have done it without her! Myself and my bridal party stayed at the barn the night before the wedding and had a lovely Chinese before chilling out in the bridal suite. We got ready in one room next door the next morning with everything you could possibly need inside! The White Barn provided our canapes, wedding breakfast and evening food which was all absolutely delicious!! Again, nothing was too much to ask. We wanted to break from tradition a bit with the food and again Beth could not have been more accommodating. I feel extremely grateful to Beth and the whole team at The White Barn for giving us the wedding day I’ve always dreamed of. If I could go back and do it all again, I would 100 times and I wouldn’t change a thing. We love you guys and can’t wait to catch up with you all again soon! All our love, Mr & Mrs Heaver xx

The biggest thank you to Beth and her team for pulling out all the stops to making it the most incredible day for us. There was no request to little or too large and the excitement and enthusiasm Beth had for our ideas to make our day as unique as us was truly wonderful and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be our wedding planner. Having the option of using the onsite cafe and florist for our food and flowers also made the task of organising these aspects so much easier! Holly at Frogmary Flowers was amazing- the flowers, bouquets and button holes were perfect. As for the food from Farm and Field Cafe, our guests still talk about how good it was now- 6 months on. Need I say more?! All in all everyone involved at the White Barn really did make it the best day of our lives! 💛🧡🩷💚

On the 4th of November 2023, we celebrated our special day at The White Barn, and we couldn't have been happier with the entire experience. When we first visited The White Barn, we knew we had found the perfect place for our wedding. From our first meeting with Beth, to the lovely family breakfast the day after the wedding, the staff at The White Barn were so kind, helpful and accommodating. We always felt confident that everything was in capable hands. Our food was provided by the Farm & Field café on site and it was absolutely gorgeous! The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The wonderful Beth, Dani, Millie and their fabulous team worked tirelessly to ensure every aspect of our wedding day went smoothly. From the ceremony to the reception, their expertise and attention to detail were evident. We were able to relax and enjoy our day, knowing that everything was being taken care of. The White Barn were so flexible and open to our ideas; they made every effort to accommodate our vision for the day. Whether it was customising the menu or adjusting the layout of the space, they were committed to making our wedding uniquely ours. Choosing The White Barn was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The venue's gorgeous setting (I still cannot believe how lucky we were to have the flower meadow looking SO gorgeous in November), combined with the outstanding service provided by the staff, created a day that exceeded our dreams. Her dedication to the job has no bounds. I love this image of her working hard despite the near tropical conditions at a wedding we worked on together in the summer last year. Having Rosie as part of our wedding day (and the months leading up to it) was one of the best decisions we made. She was so calm, composed and “on it” throughout the whole process that we couldn’t help but feel that way too! She is incredibly knowledgeable and just bubbling with amazing ideas. Having a marquee wedding on our family farm, we really appreciated her expert eye but also her focus on the environment and sustainability. My only regret is that we discovered Rosie about halfway through our planning - I only wish we could have worked with her from the beginning.

We have collaborated with Rosie on several events to date with our bell tent and luxury loo hire; she is a joy to work with and consistently creative. We are beyond grateful to Melanie for the incredible work and dedication she put into planning our wedding at Came House earlier this year. From our introductory call until our wedding, Melanie went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly on the day. Melanie’s attention to detail is unmatched. To give one of many examples: without request from us, Melanie remembered my sensitivity to mosquito bites from an earlier conversation and arranged mosquito plugs to be placed in the bridal suite. This small but incredibly thoughtful touch meant so much. It’s this thoughtfulness and pre-empting of potential issues that really sets Melanie apart. Melanie always responded promptly to our questions/emails, often late at night or over weekends. She was incredibly patient and always put us at ease. We feel very lucky to have had Melanie and the Came House team for our wedding. Thanks to their hard work and care, we were able to enjoy the day without stressing about the details. WHAT A VENUE! Having shot at venues all over Mapperton is just incredible. It has everything, and I mean everything. Multiple choices for the ceremony, STUNNING grounds, gorgeous barn. It honestly has it all. The staff are wonderful, so welcoming and really take care of their suppliers - which means they take care of their couples. It's a dream venue!

The most perfect day at a dream venue Patrick and I had the most incredible experience getting married at Mapperton. From the moment we first visited we knew it was the perfect venue for us due to how flexible, versatile and stunning it is. Holly our amazing wedding coordinator was one of the reasons we chose the venue and is a true asset to Mapperton. She was there to take us through the whole process, being a fountain of knowledge for amazing suppliers in the South West and nothing was too big an ask. Most importantly she made sure our day ran like clockwork and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Our guests have given us so many compliments saying it is the favourite wedding they have ever been to and this is all thanks to the hard work put in by the team at Mapperton. We can't wait to pop in, take a walk around the stunning Italian gardens and visit the Mapperton family to remember our special day.

Well what can I say?! Our wedding day was an absolute dream from start to finish. The team is absolutely incredible, with special shout outs to Emma for her impeccable organisation and to Andrew for his flawless service. We had several mobility challenged members of our party and they left this event feeling like they’d been treated like absolute queens! Nothing was too much trouble, they were always checking everyone was happy and often anticipated what we wanted before we had even realised! We first visted the venue just under a year ago and were blown away by the gorgeous views, chilled atmosphere and the mix of contemporary/rustic charm. Luckily we were able to secure the last available date in 2023 and it certainly lived up to our expectations! We celebrated our wedding at Hope Farm last weekend and had the most fabulous day. Sue and the team were welcoming and attentive, whilst also giving you the space and freedom to decorate and enjoy the venue as you pleased throughout the weekend. The facilities are beautifully finished and we had countless compliments from guests who particularly enjoyed the different areas on the farm to explore in between the main events of the day and not just being stuck inside a stiff hotel/venue.The alpacas and baby goats were a massive hit with our guests - the perfect photobomb for our gorgeous pictures! A beautiful venue with treasured memories, we hope to one day come back as guests or maybe to celebrate an anniversary! Can't recommend it enough x

We had our wedding last Saturday and I can't begin to express our gratitude to Xanthe and the team. From the moment we visited the barn we knew it was perfect for us and Xanthe has repeatedly gone above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and stress free. From allowing so many visits to putting out fires left, right and centre throughout the day, she has been absolutely incredible. Weddings are stressful but having someone come to you with problems and immediate solutions and then just sorting it out is something we can never say thank you enough for. Thank you for everything especially nailing our ceremony music timings and having to switch on a million LED candles. You just made our day a breeze and it exceeded all expectations. I can't recommend booking your wedding here enough!

This is a beautiful venue on the Symondsbury Estate. The gardens are amazing and the barn is beautiful. Lovely setting for a wedding.
