We have recently moved to Valley park and fortunate enough to have our dog registered with this fabulous vet practise. Pat and his very lovely team have been above helpful, friendly and professional in dealing with me, our dog and a couple of other issues. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Village Veterinary Centre to anyone looking for somewhere fab with pets.

Always polite friendly staff. The vet gave my dog a thorough examination, and then her booster vaccination. He assures me she's doing really well. She even gets a treat, which she loves. Very happy with the service I receive.

Can't praise this Veterinary Practice enough. Very caring vets and lovely receptionists.

Lovely vets. Always friendly and attentive for our dog Lucas who sadly passed away a few weeks ago, who finally succumbed to lymphoma following his remarkable 4-year remission with the cancer. We will always be grateful for their kindness from when he first met them to his final moments where we held his paw as he slipped away. Thank you for all you did for him

The vets are very good and always friendly. They always know how to help your pet and are very understanding. I have attended this branch a few times for same-day appointments when my usual Hilsea branch was too busy. The only reason I give 4 stars is the waiting room. Unlike the waiting room in Hilsea, Emsworth has a small waiting room with no separate area for cats. This is especially troublesome for anxious cats, as there are a lot of dogs in the waiting area. At times, it gets very loud, and some dogs try to get to the cats. 🙄

Wonderful staff, great availability for appointments. Saw us in an emergency and provided immediate care with support and diligence.

Since moving to this area, in 1977, all our pets have been looked after by this and the Portsmouth unit superbly. With the passing of our cat Leo last Friday, today we returned unused medications, food and to pay for the final bill. A sad day to end an era, so a huge thanks to all the staff for the care and dedication they have given all our pets over the years, and to us too. Tod and Heather Sloan .

Our Westie, Pixie, underwent TPLO (on both legs) surgery in March. It was traumatic for her and us, but with Anderson Moores' skills and care, we could not thank the Team enough, especially that of her Consultant, Kate Holroyd. My pet was recently referred to Anderson Moores and had emergency and will have on-going treatment there. It’s really hard to entrust him to people I’ve only met once (even if they are fully qualified vets and the best possible people to help him)! But the care and treatment he received was speedy and so caring. All staff have been fantastic with me too. Great care taken to explain things to me. Importantly to me, the liaison with my local veterinary practice has been brilliant so I can be sure my pet continues to get the best possible care from both practices and everyone has current notes. The atmosphere at Anderson Moores is very calm, a massive help at a time of distress.

Exceptional care for my dog Eddie by truly knowledgable specialists. Eddie was referred in the middle of the night and after a two hour journey to Winchester I was welcomed by Eliana, Jorge and the clinical team who immediately jumped into action. Their care for my dog and concern for my piece of mind has been unmatched from specialists to front desk to nurses. I highly recommend Anderson Moores, in case of urgent care. Another fantastic service from Purbrook vets. Made a call this morning as my Frankies ears were playing up and needed his cytopoint injection. Explained I didn't want him to be distressed over the weekend, they were pushed for appointments but said come in half an hour and we will see him. Can always trust Purbrook vets to take care of my boy 💙 Thank you so much 🙂

Geoff is a fantastic, knowledgeable and most importantly HONEST vet and has always given our pets the best care possible. We’ve sadly lost our dog, cat and hamster since using this veterinary practice over the years but they’ve been so caring and gentle right to the very end of our pets lives and always so reassuring. It’s hard to trust vets these days but Geoff and the rest of the team are brilliant at what they do and it’s rare to find a practice like this one. Can’t thank Geoff enough for all of the help, knowledge and care that he’s provided to us as a family over the years with our animals. We would never go anywhere else with our pets.

Very friendly staff, always welcoming and the veterinarians are amazing. Used this place for several years. They have been amazing during my dogs life. They were also very lovely when we had to put out dog to sleep. They sent a sympathy card too which was very much appreciated.

Paul Ingate is an excellent vet, he has a very gentle and compassionate nature. My dog has a rare autoimmune condition which Paul has given me good advice to control, maintain her health and keep her happy and comfortable. His care is genuine.

I recently took my 19 year old Burmese cat Sebastian to Animed Shedfield and he was seen by Jacek. Jacek was so amazing with him, really kind and genuinely caring. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and Jacek's treatment plan for Sebastian. There has already been a marked improvement in his quality of life. Great vets, all are on the ball and their services are great. If they can't treat your pet they have great recommendations of specialist in the area. I particularly love the fact that the yearly nurse check up can be done in your home which is beneficial for us as we have 4 pets registered with them.

We recently had to make the heart-breaking decision to have my horse put to sleep, and the experience was more difficult than I could have ever comprehended. However, the compassion and professionalism we received from Animed Veterinary Hospital, and especially from Alex, made an unbearably painful time a little easier to navigate. Alex was beyond amazing. She was empathetic, thoughtful, and kept in constant communication, offering reassurance and support every step of the way. She went above and beyond, ensuring I had everything I needed without me even having to ask, and her efforts to accommodate my family and me were truly above expectations. It was clear that Alex cared deeply for my horse, as well as us as a family, during such a sensitive time. These vets have to deal with my cat regularly because he's a pain for getting into fights and trying to make jumps he can't, as well as getting illnesses. Lovely and friendly staff who try to be as fast as they can. Of course, there's some things they can't do and we're sent to another much larger vet, but they try their best.

Very helpful and supportive with our pets. Friendly vet and receptionist who helped deal with our problem quickly and efficiently. Great service over a bank holiday, advised over the phone to save us the consultation fee and booked us an appointment for the next day. Great advice and excellent service.
