First used Obsidian Roofing in October 2024 for our son’s new roof which they did excellently. So there was no need to consider another company to do our house roof repairs. He quoted fairly for what was supposed to be a minor repair but unfortunately when he started taking off the tiles he found the felt was all rotten and the wood batons were rotten too. We ended up having new membrane and batons for the whole roof. As we live in a conservation area we cannot replace the tiles without planning permission. So Naher managed to find reclamation tiles from a place in Scotland and we live in London but it was no trouble for him to sort it all out. We had been looking for spare tiles for years and no roofer could find any before. He and his team had a massive job on their hands but he organised it perfectly and did the job in 10 days. They worked so hard even using torches as it got dark early so that no rain would come in overnight. And to top it all they jet washed the drive and patio at no extra cost. I am very pleased with his work and would highly recommend him.

I am very pleased with the work MP Roofing Services completed. We had a leak through a flat roof which was coming through to the ceiling below. Matthew was responsive to all queries and assessed the job on the same day as my initial call. He has been friendly and professional throughout. I felt that he assessed thr job properly, offering a solution without trying to go for the most expensive option. I had quotes from other companies who either seemed disinterested or who quoted for the most expensive solution without really looking at alternatives. MP Roofing came up with a plan that was reasonably priced but thorough. It's also reassuring that the work is guaranteed for 5 years. I would recommend MP Roofing and would definitely use them again if we have further roofing jobs in the future.

Matt is a lovely bloke who came round within a couple days after I made contact with him, instantly spotted the issue and was able to come up with a solution that thought outside the box to keep costs down. The work was carried out a couple weeks later and he and his workman worked quickly to get it done. The work was smart and looked better than I thought it could. I'd be more than happy to recommend Matt to a friend if they were needed work done.

We contacted John after finding JPR online, we had issues with our roof in our London town house. I already had 2 quotes from different contractors but I wanted to have another one before deciding. John was very reactive and came on site quickly, we identified all the problems and he provided me with a quote under 3 days. His price offer and warranty was the most competitive, before signing the quote I asked if I could take some references from his existing clients. This was no problem, after calling everyone I signed the quote and a week later the works started. His team was very organized and discreet. They finished the repairs on time and provided regular updates on the works. John always communicated rapidly and clearly. John and the team were super helpful and responsive to some issues we had with our roof. The team were really professional and were able to fix some slipped tiles and replace some missing tiles from our very old roof. This is the first winter of owning the property, so it's always the litmus test for seeing the condition of the roof and guttering. They also cleaned our filthy gutters, which looked like they hadn't been cleaned since the house was built! The drone footage at quote stage was also really helpful to demonstrate the issues! They did our flat roof in January 2021 and am really pleased with their work and professionalism. They did it for two days. Pleasant experience from beginning to end. John, a very nice man, came to inspect one day, and then he explained what needed to be done, sent me and agreed on a quote, then booked the date. Two nice men came on the day and did everything including clearing. I would recommend them to my family and friends. Excellent service all throughout.

Two day roof work undertaken to repair worn ridge tiles and prevent further leaks to loft. Roofers were punctual and hardworking team. Old cement removed for new and original tiles refitted. New tiles replaced where necessary. Lead flashing and wood batons added to give extra security to tiles.Good thickness of new cement placed in down gully. A thorough job done. Very pleased with workmanship.

We contacted Nayburs via Google at about 9.30pm on a Thursday night after we had water coming into a bedroom during a storm. Looking at the roof a tile had slipped leaving a gap. Got a reply almost immediately and Pat and team turned up the next day to have a look. We already knew the roof needed to be replaced in the near future but hoped to get away with a patch. Pat got me up the ladder and showed me just how bad it actually was and explained why it couldn't be patched in a manner they could guarantee. Lifting tiles showed rotten battens (crumbled to the touch), rotten, crumbling roof lining and loose ridge tiles. It was a 60 year old roof but looked unlikely to last the week let alone the coming winter. We bit the bullet and agreed on a new roof. I'd normally get a number of quotes for this type of thing but was quoted a fair price. Nayburs had the gap covered and secured, and scaffolding, skip and materials ordered the same afternoon. And started work the next day. All through the process Pat and the team were professional, tidy, on-time and sent videos of all the work they had done each day. Any question were answered immediately, day or night. We're very happy with the result and would heartily recommend Nayburs to anyone and, in fact, have already done so!

Speedy and efficient company. Came out the same day as ringing to inspect the problem and then came back the next day to repair the problem. Roof was leaking badly but since the repair it’s perfect now! Friendly reliable people who come when they say they will. It’s a 10 out of 10 from me!

Robert and his team came to fix the leak around our chimney, they finished up in a day, leaving the site tidy. The fee was clear from the beginning and we are happy with their work.

Came the very next day to give quote and completed the job the same day. Cleared all rubbish, no fuss just got on with the job, advised and quoted on a bigger job needed to complete in future, communication great, text when arriving. For anyone seeking a roofer / builder - you have come to the right place! John and his team at JD roofing are exceptional. My mum's roof was dilapidated after years of disrepair and John and his team delivered. My mum also had significant water penetration coming through her external kitchen wall. This resulted in years of poor pointing which John discovered after careful investigation. This job proved far worse than the entire roof due to the mould which had spread following years of disrepair. But John and his team didn't shy away from what was a horrific job. They took it on the chin, worked tirelessly from early morning to night within a week to repoint, replaster and refit half of my mums kitchen units and flooring following the water damage. And they did it all in such good spirits keeping us informed throughout the process of ongoing works and price increases due to the signficant mould decay on some of her units. When refitting the kitchen, all necessary quality control was carried out on electrics and plumbing. My mum now has a kitchen which is immaculate and better than ever before of exceptional quality. A very happy client indeed! John surpassed our expectations. The quality and delivery was outstanding and his professionalism for me was a rare find among tradesmen. We had a leak in one of the kids bedrooms and contacted John first thing in the morning and he moved his appointments around and was at our home about an hour later. He took a good look around the leak, the attic and a visual inspection and suggested remedial actions to stop the internal leak. He then came back the next day once the weather improved and not only did he and his team fix the issue, they tested it several times and then gave insights on the rest of the roof. The house is 3.5 stories and a mare to get on the roof but the team found the least obstructive route to get to the problem area. Once they identified the issue, they explained the options and agreed to fix it right away. Amazingly, it cost less than what my neighbours had paid for similar issues but without the access issues!! Obviously I have no hesitation in recommending John and his team for any work required as they came across as knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and professional but what impressed the most was the cost based on work required. I waited to give this review to see if 2 months of bad weather would unpick their solution. I need not have worried.
