āHad a really solidly good meal here. Between us, we had tasty pasta, pizza and a veggie burger, followed by gelato and cannoli. Really good virgin mojito. I didn't get a photo, but the interior is painted like Venice - nice touch. There's a little bit of outdoor seating for the good weather too. Totalled about Ā£90 for two adults and two kids.ā

āBeautiful pub by Box Hill! Lovely outdoor garden terrace overlooking the hill. It was a very busy Saturday but the service was still friendly and efficient. The food was amazing - the Dressed Devonshire Crab was very refreshing and the truffle mayo was amazing! The baked Camembert went really well with the apricot jam!ā

āBooking can be done online and thank you to the staff who remembered that it was my friendās bday (i placed a note during online booking which i forgot lol) - they gave him a glass of wine upon arrival. Food wise- itās reasonably priced. Huge serving and delicious. We got pork cutlet for main and lentil soup for appetizer. Dessert is just okay the brownie bite was kinda hard but overall it was an amazing lunch experience. Theres an art gallery within the estate and gift shop worth visiting. We werent able to do a vineyard tour coz it rained but we will definitely come back. Shout out to Kai- sheās very accommodating and warm to the gallery restaurant customers. Sheās the one who took our order and served the food. All staff were lovely.ā

āWent for lunch after a walk in the area. Parking is easy to find and they have their own car park which is nice. The service was good and the food came out relatively promptly. There are some vegetarian options though the choice may be limited depending on your preferences. The burger was a fake meat type which was generously served but the quality of the patty fell a bit short considering the price. A bean based vegetarian burger would be much more popular in my opinion! The prices are quite expensive for the food but the portions are also huge (maybe a bit too big). Reducing both would make this a 5 star review.ā

āCosiest pub Iāve been to and the ambience there gives a comforting feeling. Sat by the fireplace and that lifted the feeling even more. Not a big menu, but the food was tasty. The looās were clean, maybe a bit small. I found it nice that the womenās loo had a basket with practical things such as hairspray. Staff were friendly and the pub was located right on the street so it was easy to find.ā

āOh my gosh. Such an incredible pub - food was amazing and next level, service was absolutely brilliant too. Everyone was so friendly. I cannot recommend the crab on toast enough - the bread was (not kidding at all) the best bread Iāve ever had. Fish pie was also amazing. 10/10. Great food, energy and dog friendly so even better after a long dog walk with our puppy!! Will definitely be back!ā

āI recently had the pleasure of staying at The White Horse in Dorking, and I canāt recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade to a beautiful room, which was both stylish and comfortableāperfect for a relaxing stay. The highlight of our visit was joining in the Christmas quiz, which was a fun and festive way to spend the evening. It added such a lively, community feel to the atmosphere. We also enjoyed a couple of delicious cocktails from the bar before sitting down to a fantastic dinner. The food was exceptionalāfresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Overall, our experience at The White Horse was wonderful, and Iāll definitely be returning. Whether you're there for a cozy stay, great food, or a bit of holiday fun, it's the perfect spot in Dorking!ā

āI literally picked this pub based on the size of the yorkshire puddings, and let me tell you this theory did not let me down. The food was amazing, literally the best roast dinner in a long time, especially the pork! Cooked the Italian way. OMG I'm drooling now thinking of it. The service was faultless. The atmosphere with logs burning and oak panelling was beautiful. Would highly recommend!ā
