What a lovely cozy, Christmas lunch!
We were greeted with a bright smile from Jack, who made us feel very welcome.
Tasteful Christmas decor and music surrounded us, together with a log fire burning in the corner... What a gorgeous atmosphere!
We chose from the Weekday special menu, (lots of choice) which at two meals for £20 is excellent value.
I had the Cottage Pie, which was absolutely delicious and the accompanying seasonal veg was perfect.
The Hubster chose Thai Green Curry, always a winner for him.
Hot drinks are also included in the price. Earl Grey Tea for me, Flat White for the Hubster (I told you it was great value!)
We love it here and will definitely come again.

Food was nice enough but didn’t blow us away. We were the only ones in there to start with and they put us on a small wobbly table, which wasn’t ideal. When we left, there were two more tables eating so they were not overbooked. Wouldn’t say it was particularly cheap either. However, it was very smart and tidy establishment.

Stumbled across this place on our way back from Mablethorpe. The staff were really nice, we sat outside with our dog and had hot drinks and scones, which were lovely. We were then greeted by the owners two border collies who were the absolutely cutest!. We would definitely recommend going if you are dog lovers/owners.

I would highly recommend the stables bar & restaurant. I went with my family to celebrate a number of birthdays. All the waiting staff were very welcoming, friendly and the service was great.
We preordered our food as we were a large group and our food was delicious.
The setting of the restaurant is beautiful, fabulous for relaxing and fantastic for the children with the space, park and animals.
I would not hesitate in booking here again.

Really enjoyed the food even though we waited just over an hour for our starters. Me and my partner had prawn cocktails to start and a roast beef dinner as our main. It was worth the wait, heavenly mix of flavours and plenty of beef left us feeling well fed and satisfied. Provided with extra gravy upon request. The only thing I’d grumble about is the price £62 when the rest of our group seemed to pay less for the same, not sure if the server had put it in wrong when it was time to pay. Overall though a really pleasant experience, good job we had nothing planned in the afternoon.
