The handmade pasta was amazing. Al denté, cooked to perfection, the sauce was silky and emulsification done well, with lots of spices and onions. The clams were fresh, sweet, succulent. Overall a lovely dish for my Tuesday night. Bonus point is it is dog friendly and staff were friendly and courteous. Overheard a conversation between a customer and the chef enquiring about a table on the weekends. The chef answered every single question the customer had over potential allergens in each dish with great detail, and when the client was not sure the staff explained with great patience. The client facing attitude was superb. A side note my dog’s insta is @bichon.mirabelle. 🐾
this place is underrated. if you like Italian food and are in Guildford, you need to check this one out. would def come back if i’m craving Italian again. they also give you extra parmesan off a fresh block!! not the cheap pre-grated stuff 🙂↕️ it was £40 for 2 mains and a dessert including service charge which is a fair price
Shardana is a bustling restaurant and always smells delicious when we walk past. We enjoyed a nice evening there. The smoked duck starter was a highlight and the pizzas were generous with toppings. Worth a visit for tasty, uncomplicated food which delivers.
