Excellent, stayed one night here and loved it. The Old Hall is beautiful, really feels like you’ve stepped back in time. The food was incredible and at reasonable prices, the fish and chips was especially good! Sadly they didn’t have two of the deserts we had wanted from the menu but the trifle we eventually settled on was very nice! Only downside was the room didn’t feel super clean, few hairs, cobwebs etc, especially in the old basin (Room 5!). Service in terms of the staff was brilliant too.

Dan the owner is a special man. He really looked after me and went out of his way to make sure I would enjoy my time at the studio apartment and what the area had to offer. He developed this building from a garage. It’s spectacular. There’s too many features to list. Great food at the restaurant. Studio was super quiet, rare to find this level of quietness. Book and enjoy, you won’t regret it. Thank you Don’t touch the painting, it’s HOT! 😂

We loved our stay at the old Hall Inn. Lots of parking. Friendly helpfull staff. I am lactose intolerant and they ensured my food was free from it. The meals were excellent. My husbands suet pudding was huge and very tasty. Chips perfect. We were in room 4 with the balcony and four poster bed. Delightful! We did a lovely walk from the pub and visited the near by Bugsworth Basin. We will be back I’ve already asked my daughter for another voucher. Thank you every one for a wonderful experience

Very lucky to get a table for Sunday lunch having not reserved a table. The food was amazing. All 5 of us had Sunday lunch covering all the available options (including veggie). The food was high quality, plentiful and beautifully presented. Service was impeccable too. Many thanks.

Clean and cozy room, with all the necessary present and of good quality. As they CLEARLY state on their website it’s possible to hear people laughing and talking in the pub, but unless you aren’t in bed before sunset, that isn’t an issue. Very nice breakfast, very friendly staff, and the restaurant at the Old Hall is great.
