βWent here for a meal with 11 other people. We had preordered food and had great service from start to finish. Very professional booking system and great to be able to pay separately. Food was excellent, very tasty and very filling, it all had that home made feeling. We all enjoyed the food and great service. Lovely pint of Jaipur. Will definitely look to return.β

βDelicious food, excellent value, in a traditional pub setting. You can't ask for much more really. While the pie wasn't ready when I ordered, the lambs liver was an excellent 2nd choice. A great portion size, with 3 good sized slices of liver. Having cycled past the pub many times and seen it to be popular based on cars in the car park, I'm very happy to have found an opportunity to go. Hope to return!β

βBooked in for Christmas day lunch. Jen was quick at responding to emails when booking and answered all my questions about gluten-free options. On arrival, the atmosphere was lovely and Chistmassy, and we were directed to our table after ordering drinks at the bar. Starters were lovely, plenty of flavour, main courses were a bit delayed coming out but they were tasty and the waiter apologised for the wait. Pudding was good too, cant beat a christmas pud!. My only complaint would be that the 'gluten free' options for the main just involved things being taken off and a very watery gravy replacing the usual one. So two of us paid the same price for a gluten-free main that was missing the stuffing, pigs in blankets, and a Yorkshire pudding. Wouldn't mind if there had been more veg, roasties, or additional slices of turkey as a replacement, but I felt a bit robbed when the normal main looked so good. Overall though the food was good and we had a nice time, the staff were friendly and it had a nice country pub feelβ
