A hidden little gem of a place ... We've driven past this place many a times on our way to town - not thinking much of it.. it's a shame we didn't try it sooner! Food: Fantastically tasty food, which was prompt and well presented. On the first visit, there was a substitute on my tagliatelle - but this is because it's all made fresh that day and we arrived one hour before closing. Tried a few different starters/sharing plates, both were beautiful and (as much as I know) tasted authentic. Each following visit has been equally beautiful food. Service: First time, we arrived an hour before closing (cause... Yolo and we were hungry) and they were still very welcoming and accommodating. We still weren't rushed to order out food, even with the time. Everyone was friendly, polite and helpful. On following visits, everyone has been beyond lovely on each visit ... Atmosphere: Decorated with little touches of Sicily - it has a nice ambience for the type of food and cuisine served. It can get a little loud, with the size of the room, but nothing to stop you visiting this beautiful little gem. Would definitely recommend and will continue to return.

What a lovely place to have my Birthday. Everyone was so generally friendly, from entering and to leaving. The atmosphere is brilliant with the Italian background music and the decor. The share starter for 2 outstanding ! So was the baked hooped pasta dish so filling, plus my family had the meatballs and spaghetti and ham pizza. Never felt rushed , and when they found out it's my birthday they brought an icecream with candle and sang to me!! Such lovely owners and amazing food.

This is an absolute gem of a little restaurant. The antipasto starter is fantastic and the specials are changed regularly to fit with a theme. All of the food I have tried here is made with some true passion. Wine menu is great and very reasonably priced.

Fantastic greek restaurant, as good as if you are eating in the country! Super friendly staff and a charming atmosphere, can't recommend enough.

Went to Odyssey on Saturday 23/11/24 as a group of four for a special occasion. The food was great, it was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Very clean restaurant and facilities with a lovely atmosphere but above all the service was another level some of the best service I’ve ever experienced. A must visit if in Chesterfield we will be back

Got lucky. Just turned up at 4pm and wasn't busy so we got a table. Excellent food, chargrilled chicken and lamb with fried potatoes and really tasty fresh bread. Very recommended 👌

We went for a meal after looking at the reviews and were not disappointed. The food is freshly cooked to order and therefore takes a while, so expect to wait a little longer than other restaurants. Beautifully presented and deliciously tasty and most definitely worth the wait though. They also cater for individual palates too, so you can ask for your dish to be tweaked if needed … ie minus garlic! The deserts are incredible … would highly recommend the baklava! We met the owners who were so welcoming and can’t wait to visit again.

Visited on a Saturday evening and to be honest some Turkish food can be underwhelming relying on spicy heat and over spiced cumin to sell itself, however a trip to Divan changed my outlook on this cuisine. I had the Mixed Grill main with a very hot bowl of chips but everything on the plate was excellent. Even the rice had flavour, and was cooked to perfection. Service excellent throughout. I can see why they were busy. The picture doesn't have the lamb chop on as it was just being finished off. Overall an excellent meal.

Very accommodating at short notice when we needed a cool place due to the aged grandparent not coping with the hot weather. Food fantastic, service couldn't have been any better. Thanks for a lovely family lunch.

We recently dined at La Dolce Vita Lambarelli's in Chesterfield and were thoroughly impressed by the experience. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. For my main course, I chose the lamb, which was cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the presentation was both elegant and appetising. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting. We went last night for our work Christmas Dinner, special night with guest singers. The food was excellent. The service spot on. They had even put a TV on for the football. The singer very good too. Definitely go there again.

I cannot recommend this Turkish restaurant enough! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and impeccable service. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that truly transported us to Turkey. Every dish was perfectly prepared, from the tender grilled meats to the flavorful sides and dips. The restaurant itself was spotless, which immediately added to the comfort of our experience. The ambience was perfect—cosy yet lively, with an atmosphere that set the tone for a wonderful evening. They surprised her with a delightful birthday song and treated her like royalty, making it a moment she’ll never forget. Excellent quality charcoal grilled meats, lovely salad and rice. Sauces added so much flavour. Best Turkish I’ve ever tried by a massively big margin. The restaurant had a spacious layout which added a lot to the experience, I hate being hemmed in.

2nd visit after a 4 year gap (First review below). Don't no why I left it so long as the food seemed even better and with bigger portions than last time. Everything looked and tasted fresh and delicious. We went for lunch on a Saturday just after opening so wasnt many customers in nevertheless the service was outstanding. Would highly recommend anyone who likes Turkish grill. Great food, good people, fast and polite service and super price. What more can you ask for. We'll recommend

I visited for Sunday brunch with my Mum and sisters for my sister's birthday. We were given a very warm, smiley, genuine welcome as soon as we arrived and although we hadn't booked we were taken straight to a table by one of the beautiful picture windows. Our waitress, Christie, introduced herself, took our drinks order , gave us our menus and gave us time to get settled. She also complimented my coat which was very thoughtful. I ordered the 'nojito' a mocktail with ginger, mint and lime which was absolutely delicious. Christie came back and took our food order, I had the small veggie breakfast and my family each had the small breakfast. Christie was happy to accommodate a change to the menu, I requested scrambled eggs instead of fried eggs. It was really nice to see a variety of options on the menu. As I'm veggie I have to choose the vegan option at some restaurants which is fine apart from the fact that I miss out on halloumi! At Bottle and Thyme they have both a veggie and a vegan option which was great. The food was beautifully cooked and well presented. My small veggie breakfast was a veggie sausage, vine tomatoes, scrambled eggs ( by request) on sourdough bread, delicious chestnut mushrooms, handmade rosti, spinach and beans. The beans were thoughtfully presented in a little pot. All parts of my breakfast were tasty and cooked to perfection. The food was light but filling and just the right amount. My family all enjoyed their breakfasts too. I had a pot of green tea afterwards, my Mum had a cappuccino and my sisters had iced coffee and lemonade. We didn't feel at all rushed to finish our drinks and although the restaurant was busy we felt comfortable to take time to enjoy our food. The space is exceptionally well planned. Very light and airy but still feels comfortable and welcoming. Sometimes window seats can be chilly but we were nice and warm even on a cold day. The team were all lovely and made sure we were comfortable and attended to for the duration of our stay. I would highly recommend Bottle and Thyme. We are already planning our next visit and looking forward to trying more of the menu and maybe some cocktails too ( it would be rude not to right?!) Huge Thanks to Christie and the team for making us feel welcome, we'll be back soon.

I went here today with my mum. The best quiche and slaw EVER. Crumbly pastry, tasty quiche, but the slaw was the best bit. Pomegranate, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, shredded cabbage and a zesty salad dressing. Yummy!! Fabulous service by everyone. Thank you so much! ❤️😀

Best restaurant in Chestfield. Food here won't let you down. The coffee is good. The breakfast is really delicious. Dinner is a bit pricey but it's good food. Try to order three dishes deal for £18. Then add others will be better. We really enjoy the food here. If you are coming for the dinner,try to make the reservation before you come on Friday evening to Sunday lunch.

We booked the Bottle and Thyme for a party of 50+ people, to include a hot buffet. We were not disappointed! The quality of the food provided was outstanding, and plentiful, with plenty of choice for all tastes. The staff were excellent, and could not do enough to help, ensuring plates, cutlery and food was replenished as necessary, also ensuring there was someone serving at the bar. A couple of days later, 4 of us returned for breakfast where once again we experienced a first class service, no delays and delicious, well prepared and presented food. Personally, I recommend the large breakfast, but you will need an appetite to match! I would highly recommend the Bottle and Thyme, and will be returning.

Highly recommended, came here for my wife’s birthday with my son, although the restaurant was full with people waiting for tables, staff where friendly, attentive and got us to our table shortly after our reservation. Food came out in a reasonable time, well sized portions and competitively priced. Will be coming again.

Me and my partner have been here a few times now and thoroughly enjoyed it every time. The food is absolutely incredible, the staff are so attentive and can't do enough for you, even when they're busy. The atmosphere is lovely and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. This is definitely going to be our new favourite restaurant.

Great pizza cooked quickly and friendly staff

The team at Fireaway are amazing - the food is incredible and very tasty - always arrives fresh and hot. Genuinely, I have given up eating the “big names” like Dominoes or Pizza Hut because their pizza tastes like cardboard compared to Fireaway. I’m so glad I discovered this place and I am extremely happy with the service, food and team. Thank you!

Really nice pizza and wedges and the first one I've tried outside my own city and it was just the same. My favourite pizza chain by a mile and the owner of this one is lovely, we had a good chat. 10/10

I called in here whilst visiting the area. I would say some of the stuff I ate was next level. I asked for Lamb Tikka in my curry and got Chicken Tikka. However I like chicken also so just got down with it. Great food, all served in good time with plenty of flavor. If I’m ever back in the area, I will surely be eating here again!

Haven’t eaten from here in a long time. Eat in or takeaway. Definitely a huge improvement in taste. Their chicken pathia is the best I’ve had anywhere. It’s pretty much my go to dish. Very reasonably priced vs quality. Already looking forward to my next one. Staff are alway so friendly and polite. Glad I have them another try after so long.

Very friendly pub and dog friendly. Great atmosphere and good range of drinks. Maybe sandwiches would be a good idea to go with a pint.
