A true gem of a venue, I've visited a number of times for the lunch menu and the Sunday lunch and haven't yet been disappointed. The staff are helpful and engaging, the service is prompt and friendly, the food is fantastic and offered at a decent price point. I would recommend the Sunday lunch as the chef and staff take pride in delivering an excellent selection of well cooked meats.

I visited here with a friend for afternoon tea on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was quiet, there was only one table of four having the afternoon tea at the same time as us. The service was fine but the afternoon tea was more basic than we had expected. The sandwiches had strange fillings and were a little basic (tinned tuna with sweet chilli, just cucumber on another). The sausage roll was cold and dry with no flavour. We did enjoy the scone with jam and cream. I also liked the gingerbread spiced profiterole, but the rest of the cakes were a little disappointing just very sweet but no real flavour to them.

We had a very pleasant Stay Place is clean and staff very welcoming and supportive. Thankful to Roma and Dawn for making sure we are taken care of. They went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. Breakfast very tasty. Compliments to the chef.

I recently visited The Greyhound and had a lovely experience. The pub has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly. The food was enjoyable, with the halloumi fries being a standout – perfectly crispy and absolutely delicious! My brother and I both ordered them, and we highly recommend them. I also tried the sticky chicken, which had a beautifully flavoured sauce, though the chicken itself was a little on the dry side. My brother had the buttermilk chicken tenders, and while they were tasty, they too were slightly dry. Despite that, we had a great time overall, and I’d happily return if I’m ever in the area again. It’s a great spot for a relaxed meal with fantastic service.

It was a little cold sat in the draft from the door and toilets. The lovely ladies moved us to a different table which was lovely and cosy. Food was fabulous from the starters if pate, and soup. Bowls and plates were so warm. Our mains were delicious. My other half had dessert the chocolate bomb, he loved it. I was far too full. Whole experience - a very lovely evening. Will definitely be back.

First time visiting with my best friend last night and the staff were all amazing, very helpful, bubbly and happy whilst conversating well with all the customers. Nothing seems too much trouble. The food itself was outstanding, full of flavour and very well presented. After some very terrible meals out recently it was a breath of fresh air to come across this establishment. I have already recommended to friends and family and we plan to return on Sunday for lunch 😊
