Rowena has tutored my daughter for 13 months and she successfully passed her 11+ and taken her ISEB exams. Rowena was very good at identifying areas of improvement and bought along additional materials like practise papers every week. She also provides homework so that a structure can be maintained throughout the week. My daughter really looked forward to her lessons. Would highly recommend Rowena.

Rowena has helped our son during Year 6 in the run up to the SAT tests. She has provided some great 1 to 1 tuition in an environment that allowed him to focus on specific areas where he was struggling. His confidence has grown along with his knowledge and I would certainly recommend her services to anyone looking for some extra help with their children's mathematics.

My son has just achieved a 5 in his GCSE maths (which is the highest in his foundation level) after being a 3 in his mocks. We used Joanne from advantage tuition on a 1-2-1 basis for an hour every week from mocks to GCSE and my son actually said he didn’t mind maths at the end when he did not like it all all previously. Advantage Tuition - massive thank you for taking our daughter through the 11+ tests, providing her with the knowledge and confidence to pass the test and an opportunity to go to Grammar School. She had really enjoyed the class, made great friends and was able to take her knowledge further to the school environment demonstrating the ability to perform tasks that not many other children in her class could. I chose Advantage Tuition for my child who was preparing for the 11 plus exam. I am so glad I did. She passed the 11 plus with top scores and we couldn't be happier. Fantastic and fun support provided by Arthur, Bonnie and Henry. My boy loved the challenge of exceeding his own expectations, and attending the mock exams. He was confident sitting the exam and took in a variety of skills taught by the centre and from home. The groups were nice and small and the light hearted humour was welcome after a long school day.

Since my son started attending RTC Maidstone in October, his ability to stay focused in school has really improved, and his handwriting is a lot better. He enjoys attending and always looks forward to Lucie's class each week. Feedback is given after every lesson, which I find very useful. Lucie is very patient, warm, and accommodating. The office staff are very friendly and always ready to answer any questions. I would highly recommend.

My son has been having lessons with Paul now for a year, when he was in school he didn't understand maths atall every parents evening they told he was so behind . Paul has been working with our daughter on maths GCSE for the past couple of months with the aim of getting her from a grade 2/3 to a grade 4. The progress she has made has been remarkably, we await to see what grade she gets, but I have no doubt had we had more time she would have been able to have got a grade 5/6. She really enjoyed the lessons and found the way Paul teaches maths made a very difficult subject seem normal. Paul showed an understanding and caring approach towards our daughter with the normal day to day pressures that a 15-year-old kid is under with exams looming. Paul is professional and is focussed on planning the lessons by identifying my son’s needs. He has made a big difference to my son’s confidence and his enthusiasm towards learning, and he always comes out of the class smiling! I have used Kumon, maidstone YMCA for the past 2 years. Amazing kumon centre. Kumon has allowed them to advance within Maths and English,where children are challenged. The learning environment is supportive and children get used to having "homework" routine at a young age.
