Online teaching worked brilliantly for me and the white board notes made during the sessions were extremely useful. Marek was great at explaining concepts, and giving me appropriate level questions to check my understanding and build my confidence so that I could eventually do the harder A-Level exam questions. Sessions were well planned to ensure we covered all the topics well before the exams. However Marek was also very willing to move onto or back to trickier topics I was covering in school. He was also happy to help me solve tricky homework questions. Knowing that I could always sort out any difficulties with Marek reduced the pressure in school lessons and meant I could understand and learn more effectively in school as well.

I can’t thank Marek enough for all the help I’ve had over the last 18 months. My first lesson was due as the first COVID lockdown started and Marek didn’t waste any time in getting the necessary technology in place to make sure he could meet me virtually every week to provide an extremely valuable online lesson for A Level maths. He has a way of explaining very complex mathematical concepts, that seem alienated to me in class, in a simple but detailed manner. Without his help I can’t imagine I would be able to even contemplate sitting A Level exams. Thank you so much for your help and I’m going to miss our weekly catch ups.

Marek provided my son a ‘safe space’ to take his time understanding each topic of his A level maths syllabus. He was excellent at engaging and encouraging my son to aim for the top grades despite his disappointing school results. He reduced my son’s anxiety and increased his confidence in his own ability. My son always finished the sessions more positive and determined to work hard to achieve an A* , which he comfortably did in August 2023. Online sessions were arranged directly with my son but occasional we had to change these due to other school commitments. Marek always offered alternative times which was greatly appreciated , as was the extra support he provide during the long study leave before and between the final A level exams. Marek was also very willing to give me candid feedback on my son’s progress and potential which was really helpful.

His teaching skills are first class and he has been a much valued support to our son as he has studied for his maths A level through the Covid lockdowns. Marek quickly put the technology in place(he could even see what our son was writing and make immediate corrections!) for him to deliver lessons virtually that were of a very high standard. I started GCSE maths tuition with Mohammad around the month of February and after a few lessons I decided to undergo GCSE science lessons with him aswell. Mohammad is a great tutor who explains everything clearly with great techniques, which allowed me to understand and apply everything I was learning. He sets homework which allowed me to keep track on my work and would also help me out of lesson hours. Mohammad is a teacher that genuinely cares about his students and hopes the best for them. He is friendly, clear and just a good teacher in general. He allowed me to get an 8 in Maths and 8-7 in science.

Lee is professional and friendly and it was easy to arrange an assessment for my daughter. He quickly understood her skills and weaknesses and picked out a plan to help her progress. To everyone at the Ramsbottom branch. I decided to use Kip Mcgrath for my Grandson Joshua S whose Maths mock result was a little disappointing. He required a grade 6 to take his chosen A level. He started a course in mid March which was one evening per week specifically for Higher Maths. Within a couple of weeks he was showing a marked improved confidence and understanding of the subject matter. His first two exam papers he reported he had found them reasonably easier and he had managed to answer almost 100% of the questions. His last paper was a little more difficult but he was still able to answer 80% and attempted the remaining 20%. I am sure that, would not had been the case if I hadn't decided to choose the Kip Mcgrath programme. The tutors are very dedicated to the children and are completely invested in improving their understanding and knowledge. I believe this was the best gift I could have given my grandson and would 100% recommend Kip Mcgrath to any parent/grandparent looking to aid their children.

My son has really enjoyed attending the online sessions for the 11 plus Accelerator programme. Each week there is a different topic that all the children learn. During the lessons everyone gets the opportunity to talk and ask questions. Helen provides informative and enjoyable lessons. Chris is an amazing tutor and my son loved working with him - he would often come away from a session buzzing with enthusiasm. My son wasn’t overly confident about A level physics during y12. But he started working with Chris at the start of y13 and a few months later he told me physics had become his favourite subject! In one year Chris helped him go from a D in his y12 mocks to a B (just shy of an A) in his A levels, and getting his place at Durham. Chris was also able - in one session - to help him fully understand a challenging maths topic he’d been struggling with, after missing some lessons with covid. I can’t recommend Chris highly enough.

Chris tutored my daughter online for A-level Maths and my son online for GCSE Physics. Both were really happy with Chris. They found him really friendly, personable and helpful. Initially I wanted a face-to-face tutor but found the online sessions were ideal and am now glad we didn't go for a face-to-face tutor. It meant both ourselves and Chris could be quite flexible and it was really convenient in terms of simply turning the computer on rather than having to drive somewhere. Both my son and daughter said they preferred doing the sessions online rather than in person. They both said that their knowledge of the subject improved after the sessions with Chris. Neither have received their exam results yet but whatever they get I would not hesitate to recommend Chris.

I believe that Aim High is a really good tuition for all the core subjects, maths especially. I have been going to the maths lessons in Aim High for 2 years, and I have been getting better scores in my tests because I used to get 90-95%, but now I am frequently getting 98-100%! I feel that Aim High is really good as they set homework on a website called Century ,weekly, and we use another website called ClassKick to enhance the learning we do at the beginning of the lessons, and apply it to the questions on there. The teachers are very kind and they are extremely motivating. They also have a clear plan of the lesson and will change it if a student is struggling. Therefore, Aim High is an amazing tuition - the best I've ever been to- and I highly recommend that you join as I currently LOVE IT! :)

Stuart is a great English teacher. I’ve learnt a lot more than I have at my old tuition . I was at my old one for 6 years but learnt more in the 4 weeks I’ve been at aim high with Stuart. My math teacher is very approachable and always helps the students; his teaching is very calm and understandable overall he has helped my grades go from a B to an A. I finally understand what’s going on in science because my teacher actually takes time and makes sure each student understands the content which I appreciate. Overall aim high has deeply helped me and helped me raise my grades.
