Not only did the lessons boost his confidence and familiarity with the subjects in preparation for the 11+, but most importantly the lessons were really enjoyable and fun. There were never any complaints about attending each week (even in the school holidays) and all of the children always seemed to be smiling and happy after each lesson. My daughter attended Richard's classes through her year 5, as well as sitting three of Richard's 11+ mock exams. The tutor course is well constructed and effective in building understanding and confidence in the various question types students can expect in the real exam. The class and homework materials are consistently high quality. We really appreciated the policy of charging half for missed classes and sending classwork and homework, so that material wasn't missed. While Richard does not provide routine progress updates, he always offered very detailed and constructive feedback when requested. Mock exam results are very detailed, assessing progress in multiple areas and highlighting material that needs further work. I am very happy to say that my daughter passed her 11+ with a score that secured her a place at grammar school. Sutton Tutorials is very highly recommended.
