I’ve worked with Amrik on a few occasions now and have never been disappointed. Incredibly professional, never cuts corners (does the opposite in fact) and are generally easy to book in for a job. Will be going back to them for future work for sure.

This is the third time I've used Map Electrical, and once again they did not disappoint. Polite, hard working, and super clear and transparent about what they are doing and why. I will be using them again for any and all electric works needed throughout my home renovation.

We had heaters, an electric mirror cabinet and a new fuse box installed over three days. The jobs were all done to an exceptionally high standard, and everything was comprehensively explained throughout the entire process. The communication and service we received were outstanding, and all for a good price. We will be returning to Map Electrical for any future work and have no hesitation recommending them to others.

Thank you for the brilliant work! It was so lovely to have a tradesman provide so much background information and be so genuinely friendly and polite! Amrik completed the job to a high standard, cleaned up any mess and really provided some giggles! There was no pressure to provide payment immediately or be pushed into any other services but he still took the time to answer my questions about other future jobs. Initial communication was great and Amrik gave me a call 30mins before his arrival so really have no complaints! Will definitely use again :)

Best electricians I've ever come across! Got a broken induction hob replaced with a new one. Booking was very quick and easy, the new hob was fitted PERFECTLY and efficiently. Friendly service and left the kitchen tidy. Very happy. Would highly recommend!

Rang Rob as my electric had gone off in my house....he talked me through the fuse box asking me which switches to switch down.. We had a home electrical safety check done, then follow up work. Communication was very prompt and clear. The appointment time was kept well and estimated work time also correct. Prices were very similar to other quotes and parts prices matched what I saw online. The engineer quietly worked away, did the work well and explained clearly what I needed to know.

Jim and his team installed a new extractor fan in our bathroom. It was a neat, clean and fuss-free process for a great price. They even worked around faulty hardware to give us a working solution, before returning to fit a replacement, with no extra charge. 100% reccomended.

The electrics kept tripping and I didn't know why. I called JD Electrics and spoke to Jim mid morning. By 4 o'clock the same day Jim had been, found the fault and got it sorted. Excellent service, fast, honest and knowlegable. He even rang me that night to check everything was OK (which it was). I would thoroughly recommend.

I contacted ss electrical services yesterday because I needed an electric cooker wiring, the guy on the phone was very friendly and was available to come out there and then on the day which was very helpful due to it being so close to Christmas, so within 45 minutes the two guys arrived and had the job done in Around 20 minutes I would say, they were nice and friendly and I paid 80 for this service, all in all I would recommend to anyone needing an electric cooker wiring up or any other electrical jobs done. 10/10

The job was done all on the same day after giving the quote and in record time. although it was a large amount of work to be done, Mr S and his Co worker were very friendly and swift. Their price was relatively fair compared to what other people had quoted for us.

I had a bedroom light fitted was quite embellished which I didn’t inform unintentionally. I said light needs fitting, now I know speaking to professional electrician that your met to inform. Anyways it was a complex fitting that they was unaware, but they both worked really hard, and had the experience and my light looks beautiful. We had just bought a house and Ollie came to do the electrical safety test. He was very professional. Communication before the appointment was excellent and he showed up on time. When he checked the fuse box, he explained us that because of the age of the wires a full rewire was required to comply with today's regulations and was not worth it doing the electrical check. In the end he did not charge us because he did not carry out the test and even helped us finding someone for the full rewire (a service he did not offer at the time). Next time we need an electrician, we would certainly contact him again.
