From start to finish, design to commissioning, Yanni & Sam from RES (with office support from Claire) have done a great job on our solar panel with battery install and at a better price than we were quoted from a number of different companies. We chose them not just for the price, but for the extra confidence that comes with using an experienced local electrical specialist. They were great to deal with - answered all our questions, were very tidy & efficient on site and fitted us in earlier than originally scheduled when asked - very happy to recommend them to anyone considering a solar install.

Our Tesla battery ceased to function correctly early in May 2023 after less than three years of service. We contacted the installer who diagnosed a fault with the Gateway to the system. This facility was replaced without cost by Tesla, but it required installation by a Tesla-approved and qualified technician. Finding a suitable company with the appropriate staffing was challenging, especially when no suitable or willing local company was on the list as supplied by the original installer. An internet search produced the name of Renewable Energy Solutions (RES), Southwell, Portland. This company was contacted, and we received a positive response immediately. A technician called Yanni, visited us; he was knowledgeable, hard-working, efficient and pleasant. We are happy to report that the new Tesla Gateway was successfully installed, tested and is working efficiently. On the strength of our experience, we can recommend Yanni and Renewable Energy Solutions.
