We're very happy with our recent staircase refurbishment and understairs storage. For one thing, Timber Technology were able to do all of this as one job. They were a pleasure to deal with - timely, good communicators, professional and skilled. Highly recommended.

Excellent company. Fantastic communication from start to finish. Ed listened to what type of bar I wanted , did an initial site visit then put together detailed plans which he sent across for review. The end result was even better than I had hoped for. The finish and workmanship was excellent and Harry and the two guys who came to install were great to deal with and did a meticulous job. I would highly recommend Timber Technology! 5 stars 🌟 all the way.

Dealing with Timber Technology was a great experience from start to finish. Efficient process from site visit to quote to booking (even just before Christmas). Harry double checked everything and kept me updated. It isn’t often that a company exceeds your expectations these days. Thanks to a great team, we love our new custom wardrobes.

From start to finish, Aaron and Nick did the most amazing job replacing our staircase. With an eye for detail, it was reassuring to know that a challenging project was in safe hands. I've recently had two sets of built-in wardrobes done by Aaron (AJ), and he has been excellent from capturing my requirements to delivering the final product. AJ kept me posted with timelines, prices, materials and more and has never once declined a phone call from me asking yet another stupid question! The final product was absolutely fantastic and I am very glad I went with him after receiving another competitive quote. I will absolutely be using him again and referring him to friends and family to utilise his services.

Sam fitted out a large workshop unit for me with wall panels, and he built a new office with stud walls, windows and a new door. His work is excellent and he obviously enjoys detailed carpentry and joinery. Sam is very skilled and knows how to best approach a job to get it done right and within budget. Sam was on time every day and was always prepared with the right materials and tools for the job. He is a quick worker and always willing to provide guidance and advice. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone looking for a skilled carpenter / joiner.

I initially thought this would be a really complicated project to replace a stair case, but Sam handled the whole project efficiently and professionally. I would highly recommend him and couldn't have asked for the result to be any better! Please see some before and after images of the stairs.

I love our new staircase. Sam has been very professional and flexible throughout the whole process. We’ve asked a different type of staircase and balustrade, so we were a bit worried about the end result. We just love it and we can totally recommend Sam for his quality skills , well done!

Sam did a great job installing fitted floating shelves in alcoves as well as a mantel piece. He was flexible on timings and was happy to discuss what we wanted until we were happy. Only a 4 because of a miscommunication which meant the shelves ended up in a slightly different place to expected and the finish/varnish needed neatening after he'd finished. The actual woodwork was brilliant, and the whole project was a good price.

Andy and Pete consistently confirmed that we'd made the right decision when we asked them to build a single storey extension onto the back of our house and a replacement porch. They were not only highly skilled, patient, honest, trustworthy and communicative, they (and their team) were just great people to have around. That's pretty vital when they are going to spend months on your project! They used their vast experience and network to quickly resolve any challenges which arose and have left us with a life changing extension that we enjoy each and every day. The gorgeous extension is filled with light due to an apex roof housing two Velux windows and a complete wall of bifold doors with glass gable end. The Utility Room houses our white goods at a raised level for ease of use and our very swanky porch (!) is rendered as per the bottom half of the entire house. Quite a transformation! For your interest I attach before, during and after photos of their work here in Chandler's Ford We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Andy and Pete, with Nick and Graham, carried out our loft conversion this year and we are so happy with their work. What we liked best was their time-keeping (they ran exactly to schedule) and costing (they ran exactly to quote, except for some extras that we requested). As important was their pleasantness in working with. They are very courteous, great communication, and any problems were listened to carefully and a sensible solution found. Our project was quite large (dormer L-shape loft conversion, complete reroof, chimney repoint, 2 new bathrooms and fitted cupboards and wardrobes). Their workmanship is of a very high standard and we strongly recommend them.

Well it’s been nearly a year since Pete and Andy and the team took on my loft conversion. I can say that their professionalism, skill and just hard work finished my project on time to the day !!! They are a pleasure to work with and would highly recommend them to anyone who was looking to have work done at their home. If I need anything else doing at my property I know who I will be calling. Bruce is a brilliant carpenter. He has project managed a few projects in our home, with another one pending, seamlessly coordinating several other trades people to a fantastic standard. We had some bespoke work done for understairs storage at home before Christmas. Work was of very high standard with good attention to detail. Nick is professional and friendly, works unobtrusively and always cleaned up at the end of the day.

Nick did an amazing job fitting 2 doors last year (pic1), so we had him back to fit 5 second floor doors. He overcame plenty of issues with the door frames and door handles but with perseverance he did a fantastic job. He’s very particular which is really good and does not do shabby work, he’s booked in for another job which I wouldn’t have anyone else to do. Definitely recommend 100%. 12/12/23 I’d thought I’ll add a few more comments and pictures as I’m unable to post a new review. Nick has completed the staircase and cupboard/dog pen, another fantastic job thanks Nick

After five years of having Nick as our carpenter it has suddenly dawned on me we have never left a review!! What a terrible oversight. Nick is amazing. No job too big or too small and each undertaken with meticulous care and attention to detail. Nick has moved and refitted doors, built a wardrobe, redesigned a fitted wardrobe, rebuilt stairs and repaired several external wet rot damaged window ledges. We have been more than happy with all the work Nick has undertaken. Living in an old house, having moved from a modern vicarage, there are always maintenance carpentry jobs that need doing to keep the house in good repair and no walls are straight making many jobs challenging. But Nick undertakes them all with careful consideration, patience and expertise. He is honest and trustworthy and we are thrilled to have found Nick and wouldn’t have any other carpenter. We would recommend Woods Contemporary Carpentry unreservedly.

Nick did a very good job replacing 3 doors which was a far from an easy job the frames being out of line. He also modified some new cupboards and fitted them on the wall. Super job, nice obliging chap very helpful recommended.

Jp made and fitted an Alleyway gate with lock and latches aswell as painted. He's done an amazing job friendly great comms. Nothing too much. Also done another job which I will post separately which has been just as good if not better.

Door frames repaired & restored by JP, he has done an amazing job. I found JP very honest, professional and reasonably priced as quotes from others advised a whole new door frame, whereas JP was extremely honest and advised that he can easily repair & restore the wooden door frames without the need of whole new door frames. I am extremely pleased with the work JP has done and I saved money at the same time. I will definitely use JP again as I am so pleased with his work.

JP is a brilliant carpenter, very friendly and tidy. He put in 4 new doors for us, which wasn’t simple as the door frames were very wonky due to movement in the house, but he made it work and they look great. He also put a box around our boiler for us and we will be getting him back to do other work for us as soon as we need him. Great lad, great carpenter and great price, would highly recommend.
