I would highly recommend Manchester Carpentry. I recently had underfloor heating installed and needed the manifold to be boxed in to stop it getting damaged and to make the area look tidier. Arj responded quickly, came out to measure promptly and gave me a competitive quote. The work was done within a week to a high standard. From the moment of meeting Andy to price our job we knew we would be in good hands and couldn't wait to start our extension. From start to finish both Andy and Ryan just couldn't do enough. There was no such things as a 'silly question' and all our ideas were taken on board and they could be achieved they were but if not Andy and Ryan could come up with an alternative or something generally better. I have never met more professional, friendly, hard working trading men. We were actually sad to see them leave when the build was done. Ryan did return though to fit our new kitchen, which was again done with an eye for detail and treated just like it was his own kitchen being fitted. Andy and Ryan have actually done two jobs for us: first they replaced an old conservatory with a small extension, then we were so happy with their work that we asked them back to do a full two-storey extension. Both times they've been extremely helpful, accommodating, professional, given very competitive quotes, and worked very hard to an excellent standard. They're genuinely nice guys who care about their work and they've both been great in terms of flexibility too, e.g. Andy did some extra joinery work in one of our bedrooms and supplied and fitted new internal doors which weren't in the original plan, and Ryan came back after our extension was built to install our utility room cupboards, including working on the weekend to get it done it time. We also really appreciated their advice on various occasions where we were stuck deciding details of the build. We couldn't recommend them enough, and would happily have them back for a third job if we had one!

Andy & Ryan extended and reconfigured our house in the later half of 2022. We are extremely happy with the results. They are easy to work with and helped us through all stages of the process from designing and planning what we wanted through to completion. They handled it all, or knew someone who would. It doesn’t hurt that they are also very friendly and helpful people anyway. We were particularly impressed by their flexibility and dedication. They were able to respond quickly to the changes we imposed on them, they performed some jobs that were not part of the original specifications (at a reasonable extra cost, of course) and they kept to our original timetable. Working weekends and overtime when necessary. We have already used them for other jobs, and will do again.

Thank you to kris and his team for the great experience installing the windows and door on our house. Really happy with Gareth's work. He made a cabinet to box in our electricity meter, hung 2 internal doors and installed skirting board, door frame into kitchen, window sill and architrave around doors. Really great communication, doesn't leave a mess, was accurate with his quote and was really patient with our dog interrupting his work.

Gareth from GDS Joinery has carried out work on our property quite a few times. And every time he has completed a fantastic job. He recently fitted solid oak windowsills including 4 meters long bay window windowsill. Also he fitted new skirting boards. Gareth's work is always to a high standards, he pays attention to the smallest detail. We would always ask Gareth before anybody else if we need further joinery and carpentry work on our house. My experience with this team was excellent. I asked for a bespoke fire surround with quite a specific look. The finished job is better than I’d hoped for. This is the second time I have used Pearson’s Bespoke carpentry and other great job. Time and effort that is taken is amazing. Left my home clean and tidy.

We first used Pearsons Bespoke Carpentry to fit two bespoke cupboards and shelving units, picture rails, skirting boards and door architraves in two downstairs rooms. Mark’s a very skilled craftsman and his attention to detail is second to none. He kept us informed throughout his work and every day tidied up after himself. We’ve since had Mark back to hang two doors and he is due back to fit a PVC coal shed door in the coming weeks. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark for any joinery work you may require undertaking. Five stars every time!

Alpeng is a brilliant handyman in every sense. Works briskly but with great attention to detail; very courteous and considerate; follows the brief accurately; and is reasonably priced. So far he’s built a playhouse to a high standard (when he offered to go above and beyond to improve my paving base too) and done a number of handyman tasks like mounting a TV, installing curtain rails and shelves. Top marks!
