Jov did a great couple of days work installing some skirting boards and fitting a door. He also installed a cat flap and bike holder which I had been trying and failing to do myself. He is personable and reliable, and does a great job. Will be booking his services again!

Mark fitted a beautiful composite decking. The service was fantastic always on time, polite and friendly but the workmanship was of a very high standard. Nothing was any problem he always checked at each stage that we were happy. It looks amazing looking forward to using it over the summer. I would most definitely recommend Mark.

We first used Pearsons Bespoke Carpentry to fit two bespoke cupboards and shelving units, picture rails, skirting boards and door architraves in two downstairs rooms. Mark’s a very skilled craftsman and his attention to detail is second to none. He kept us informed throughout his work and every day tidied up after himself. We’ve since had Mark back to hang two doors and he is due back to fit a PVC coal shed door in the coming weeks. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark for any joinery work you may require undertaking. Five stars every time!

I am very happy with the work from Shelterstone Carpentry. Karl was a top joiner, he fixed my sliding door that was poorly fitted by another contractor. Given the bad condition of the existing door, he did a great job and now it looks so much better. The workers were competent and professional.

We really don't know how to thank Mike. Giving a 5* review just doesn't seem enough. Mike did work on our staircase few yrs ago & he was so meticulous, we said we would NEVER look for another joiner. We decided to have a new kitchen a good while ago, but due to his backlog of work due to the Pandemic we were happy to wait, not once, did we think about finding a different joiner. We're SO happy we waited. He's come up with a few tips & ideas to give us more space, which the kitchen company who planned the kitchen didn't. He came up with a great idea to make the hob area a feature- it looks fantastic! He has gone above & beyond our expectations. He is so courteous, never leaves without tidying up, no matter what time it is. He only has another day here to go, but really wanted to put this review on. Will update with pics when finished. Contacted Mike to provide a quote for some internal wooden doors. He came down and measured up and gave us a trade book to look through. Really nice guy, very knowledgeable and professional. He gave us a quote which was really well priced. He fitted us in after a few weeks later and got 6 internal doors fitted along with hinges, locks and handles. He completed the job whilst we were in work so he is very trustworthy. The work was completed to a very high standard. He is very tidy and took time to clean up. I would highly recommend Manchester Carpentry. I recently had underfloor heating installed and needed the manifold to be boxed in to stop it getting damaged and to make the area look tidier. Arj responded quickly, came out to measure promptly and gave me a competitive quote. The work was done within a week to a high standard. Sam fitted 11 very tricky internal doors as all were different sizes and needed trimming down. Extremely reliable, decently priced and did a great job when we kept getting let down by other joiners.

I contacted Sam with the possibility of turning a very small alcove in my lounge to an office area with shelving, pull out desk and doors in which you could close it off when not in use. He understood exactly what I wanted and has built the most amazing, solid desk and shelving units. It looks so much better than I thought possible. Sam was quick and efficient. Jaque did an excellent job, making and fitting two cabinets on either side of the fireplace. He totally grasped my brief ('Victorian but not too fussy') and got the style just right. He was also very inventive when it came to providing neat, concealed entrances and exits for various wires. He carried out the fitting very professionally and was exceptionally tidy, friendly and polite. Highly recommended.

Honestly can't thank Jaque and his team enough, bespoke joinery work is expensive wherever you go to, so I made sure we checked TJS's work out before hand. They had nothing but glowing reviews everywhere, their work they completed in our house goes to show why. The communication with them from the start was professional, straight forward and really easy going. From the start of the job being completed, they think of everything in terms of ensuring your house is protected whilst the work is complete, they are willing to go the extra mile also which really matters to us. I will post some work they did for us, the first two were planned jobs (bespoke landing cupboards for wasted space storage and to cover the boiler) & (Bespoke shaker style cupboards to fit the room) and we were that happy with them, we came back to them to make us a bespoke bedside draw/table for our small farm style cottage house. I’ve been really impressed with Tailored Joinery Solutions. We had this bespoke staircase designed, made and fitted replacing the old Victorian style spindles and we are really happy with the work. Jaque is very professional, reliable and good at communicating and is quick and tidy with his work. He has also fitted a new PVC front door, several oak doors, new window pains that had blown, and we have booked him to fit a new kitchen, so as you can see he has been back a few times!!
