I reached out to Haigh Joinery after being extremely disappointed with a previous joiner who was recommended to me. I made an enquiry about having some internal doors hung, Gareth came back to me the same day and was extremely friendly from the get go and offered advice and was very competitively priced. We booked in for the following week and I can honestly say I am over the moon with the results! I was expecting 7 doors to be hung over a period of 2 days but credit to Gareth he did all 7 in one day! Personally I found Gareth to be extremely friendly and helpful throughout and gave some great advice on other renovations I am looking to have done in the next 12 months. Gareth fitted 6 internal doors at my home today absolutely perfect, a lovely guy ,hard working very professional. Andy refurbished our staircase. It looks amazing and we are so pleased that we went with AP Joinery and property maintenance. You can tell Andy takes pride in his work just from looking at all of the finishes. He is very skilled as a joiner and clean worker. Andy completed a number of items in our house - boxing in pipes, new skirting boards and architraves, new internal doors and (most impressively) custom made and fitted 4 cupboard doors out of MDF to match the internal doors. Highly recommend.

So good, we've had him twice!! A good tradesman is hard to find when it comes to knowledge, capability, enthusiasm for the job, and value for money. Mike delivers on all these areas, and discusses each stage of the project to deliver (in my experience) beyond what you would expect. I have had Mike in my house twice this year. Once on a major refurbishment project, which transformed the core section of the house : Hallway / Stairs / Landing, and included : completely replacing the front door and frame, entirely replacing the banister, constructing an under stairs storage area, lowering and insulating the landing ceiling, and replacing most of the doors & frames in the house, plus fitting all the skirting boards. We planned to sell, but feel so at home that we asked Mike back to remodel our third bedroom, which involved constructing a loft bed in a very confined space, which now feels spacious! If you want someone to turn your vision into reality, without breaking the bank, look no further.

We really don't know how to thank Mike. Giving a 5* review just doesn't seem enough. Mike did work on our staircase few yrs ago & he was so meticulous, we said we would NEVER look for another joiner. We decided to have a new kitchen a good while ago, but due to his backlog of work due to the Pandemic we were happy to wait, not once, did we think about finding a different joiner. We're SO happy we waited. He's come up with a few tips & ideas to give us more space, which the kitchen company who planned the kitchen didn't. He came up with a great idea to make the hob area a feature- it looks fantastic! He has gone above & beyond our expectations. Sam, the Ben's and the rest of Sam's merry men have done an OUTSTANDING job of our very complicated conversion! Not the easiest garage conversion, having a wedge shaped detached garage that needed to be bought forward to attach to the main house, taking off the leaking flat garage roof and replacing it with a pitched roof that needed to join to the main house... and not to mention the different ground levels involved!!! Sam was spot on with his communication, his attention to detail was second to none as were the rest of his team. They were courteous to have around (and I kinda miss making them brews and stocking up the biscuit tin)! We had the pleasure of having Jay come out to our house during an emergency, and he went above and beyond to help us. Doug has created 3 bespoke kitchens at different properties over the last 10 years. Each project has been designed,fitted and finished (using traditional wooodworking skills) to an excellent high standard,at an excellent price He goes the extra mile to make sure you have what you wish for but with all his experience he brings fantastic and practical ideas.I would not hesitate to recommend him for any individual,bespoke or quirky project that requires a traditional skilled CRAFTSMEN.

Doug has done quite a few jobs for us over the last 30 years or so including a loft conversion, book cases, new kitchen and fitted bedroom units to name but a few. All have been done to the highest possible standard and I have no hesitation in recommending him apart from it may make it harder for us to to get him for anymore work we need doing.

It can be a challenge to find a genuinely good tradesperson nowadays, but I have had my faith restored with these folks completely renovating our kitchen with Howdens.
