This is the second time we’ve used Doug’s services and had another great experience. Doug is very easy to work with, he takes time to understand your requirements and works to a very high standard, leaving the space clean and tidy each day. Nothing is too much trouble, even when I changed my mind on the colour, Doug was happy to re-paint the wardrobes to make sure we were 100% happy with the finish! I would definitely use his services again and have already recommended him to friends.

Doug was very accommodating and knowledgeable and worked with our changes and requests professionally. We had a media unit and lounge cupboards/ shelving made and installed. We hired Doug to design and build some wardrobes. From the first meeting we got a good feeling and his attention to detail shone through. His quote was competitive (not the cheapest, nor the most expensive) but we just felt from the questions he was asking that he understood what we wanted to achieve. He worked in a clean and tidy way and was consultative throughout. Importantly, we felt we could trust him in our home. We absolutely love the end result. It's added lots of much-needed storage space and is finished to a very high standard. We have no hesitation recommending Hathaway and plan to use him for TV alcove cupboards in the future.

Doug built two bespoke cupboards for us, for our bedroom. I cannot speak highly enough of his work - the cupboards are perfect, beautifully finished, and done on time, on budget and with absolute clarity throughout on what we were getting. We worked with Doug on some alcove wardrobes and alcove cupboards with floating shelves. Couldn’t be happier with the end result, but just as importantly Doug was great to work with both during the design and build. Couldn’t recommend Doug more highly.
