John and the amazing team have created a light and beautiful kitchen diner from a very dark, tight space which was not able to be used, until now, to its full potential. They created the area around our specific needs which has allowed us to not only use all of the space more effectively but meant my husband, who is now a wherlchair user, has a dedicated area in the kitchen to work and bake at and can now move around the area safely, From the first call, John was responsive and organised a great team of people from planning and surveying to plasterers, flooring and painting. The work was completed to a high quality and with good humour at all times. Our dog took a shine to them and still checks for them daily out the front window! We love the transformation and have highly recommended John and the J B Construction team to family, friends and our neighbours who have seen the transformation to our property and are looking forward to work starting on theirs very soon! Wow! Just wow! John and the team have given me my dream kitchen! I honestly can’t praise them highly enough! From day one they were so professional, courteous, considerate and highly skilled at everything they done. Everyone of the team knew their job to a tee and I’ve gone from having a tiny, very dated kitchen to now having a bright new contemporary space which I can’t wait to use. Also a mention for Joanne who would regularly call up to make sure everything was running smoothly and that I was happy with how things were going. John and his team did a great job refurbishing my flat. In particular, the work was done on time, to budget and to a good standard. John was able to run the project independently and required very little input from me. He was also responsive to any questions that I had. I was particularly impressed with John's ability to strike a good relationship with my neighbours and address their concerns which is key when undertaking a refurbishment within a block of flats where noise can be an issue. I'm happy to use John on other projects and recommend him to friends and family.

One of the best builders in Barnet. John and his team know what they are doing and they do it well. The job was finished on time and any issues that appeared during and even after the job were satisfactorily resolved with great professionalism. Communication channels were great too, and I feel that I got exactly what I wanted (or maybe even more!). Highly recommended and will definitely be using them again.

John and his team have done a whole house renovation for us, including converting a garage, adding an en-suite and opening plan kitchen. The construction team has been always working to high standards and now we received the sign-off from the building controller. Joanne as the quality controller has been following the whole project and gave us regular calls to check on the progress. She listened to our feedback and address with the team effectively. For any issues arose, John has been solving them quickly, and my husband and I are very pleased with the whole work.
