I took my car in with a knocking and rubbing noise from the near side rear wheel. They were incredibly busy, which is always a good sign at a local garage. Alan took time to drive the car and said he thought he knew the issue but would have to take the wheel off the next day after 2 pm. Once the wheel was off, they realised the wheel bearing had disintergrated. He showed me the issue and explained it. He had ordered the part and fixed it the next morning. The price was very reasonable. He asked me to bring it back the next week to check there was no damage to the axle. These guys know their stuff. I'd taken it to ATS, who failed to diagnose the issue. I highly recommend this garage. Book early for your MOT because they are very busy.

Been looking for a trustworthy local garage and this will be the one. I came here based on the reviews but had had two previous interactions where the guys gave me advice and tightened my mirrors. Their MOT was timely and effective. They made an effort to not fail me for minor things e.g. broken glass mirror (which I have replaced now) and a side light. They also took extra time to wait for a warning light to switch off. Booking was no hassle. Overall, they are great honest guys and my interactions with them are enjoyable. You can't go wrong doing business here.

I rang up today to ask how much a quote would be after being so highly quoted by quik fix, spoken to Nigel who was very helpful on the phone and said I could bring the car down to the garage on the same day. He was able to establish what the problem was within half an hour and get it all fixed and up and running properly for me on the same day. He even fitted a new bulb in for me for my head lights and sorted all my tyre pressure out. I wouldn’t recommend any other garage, this is the one to go to. They are all lovely people and very welcoming especially Nigel, he’ll do you a good job. Told him this is my garage from now on wouldn’t go anywhere else, you can really tell he works hard and puts a lot of effort in. The price was also very very reasonable and better than what I expected. Thank you ever so much Nigel, the car feels so much better now and I’m sure he cleaned it out for me ? Noticed it looked cleaner inside and outside :) :)

We were given the name of this garage on a local website and I’m so glad we went there . Really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable service from Nigel and his son . After a full service and MOT my old car is running like it used to 10 years ago , I’m delighted. It was also cleaned - inside and out ! Ditto my husbands car that went in the following day . Prices reasonable and probably less than others charge - service and know how - priceless. Go there you won’t regret it .

I went to see Viking Auto Garage after my car failed it's MOT (with another garage). Carl and his Mechanics took 5-10mins to sort out the problem (Horn and back light) and were excellent in the service and manner in which they spoke to me. All future MOT's and car repairs will be taken here from now on. I can not thank them enough for their help, advice and quick manner in which they helped me. Fully Recommend

Viking are nice people. Always fair and helpful with mot. Very glad i found them. Feb 2025. Second visit to Viking. Was let down by local garage for mot! Daughter needs car for health reasons important! Rang Viking am Mon. They fitted me in same day for mot no wait. Car needed ABS lights put out. #Viking Auto fitted now wheel bearing and ABS sensor all in same day. Price given before work and stuck to by them too. Very happy customer 10/10 😀nig
