Small job fitting a security light, turned up promptly, got on with the work and cleaned up after. Offered to come back and adjust the sensor if needed. Second time using Dan and is my go to electrician for anything in the house. Ill health prevents me DIYing now so having a good local contractor is great.

We have used this company for the past five years for all the work on our buy to let properties, varying from a full re-wire to an extra socket. The electricians alerted us to a potential asbestos issue, for which we were very grateful. They are professional and safety conscious whilst still being friendly and helpful.

Recently came to diagnose an issue on a Dimplex Opti Myst fire that wasn't working . Both with the initial contact on the phone (Andrew ?) and subsequent visit by the engineer, i found them both to be polite, friendly, punctual, thorough and fixed my issue with minimal fuss. Highly recommended 👌

When we moved into our house, we wanted assurance that the electrics were all sound. We were able to arrange a time for a member of the team to come and inspect the house to see if anything needed doing. It turns out that the electrics in the kitchen were unsafe so it was imperative that we got this sorted as soon as possible. A member of the team explained what needed doing and why; I found them to be very genuine and trustworthy – which is very important as I don’t know anything about electrics! As well as sorting out the electrics in the kitchen, we also asked Foden to install a waterproof case for an outdoor socket, replace the fuse board with one that met the latest regulatory standards, replaced the light in the bathroom and installed extra plug-sockets in the bedrooms. All of the work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard. Overall, Foden provided us with a first-class service and I would have absolutely no hesitation employing their services in the future.

Mixed Grill set for £9.3 only. full enough for 2 people! Meat is good but a little bit salty for me. Steak is not recommended because it is not considered worth the value. Coffee is Ok!

Had Gary come and rewire my house 12 months ago, he was at least a third cheaper than the other quotes I had. He rewired the whole house, new fuse board, Ariels in each room, wired internet cables in each room and I had speakers installed in the ceiling in a few rooms which he wired up. Highly recommend 5*

Fully recommend Nick Clarke Electrical. We had various people round to quote for various works (chasing sockets / switches to walls and adding new sockets and lighting etc throughout the house) and we chose Nick as just felt right - his pricing seems very fair and competitive, very friendly and offered us great solutions and ideas we adopted. Nick also came across very professional and efficient in everything he did from quote response times to completing the works. Big fan of using local trade and found Nick Clarke Electrical via Google search of nearby electricians. Nick responded quickly to my query and was able to quote based on a few pictures I supplied. Quote was on par with others but really appreciated the additional info and advice he provided. Work was completed a few days later. They arrived when they said they would and I was really happy with the quality of work, tidiness and professionalism. Will definitely use them again.

Jack provided excellent service on two toilets with problem cisterns. The back to wall toilet needed a full service which Jack provided at a very reasonable price. Work completed promptly and without any problems. Highly recommended!

From the first contact communication was excellent. A new mixer shower was supplied and fitted within 4 working days. A leak on our kitchen sink outlet was fixed at the same time. Jack, and his son Chris, arrived at the arranged time. Both jobs completed efficiently and no mess created. All at a very, very reasonable cost. I contacted Jack the Plumber through Check-a-Trade. He responded really quickly, communication was very clear. He visited within days to view the job and provided a quote quickly. The quote was hundreds cheaper than another one I received. He made clear in advance what was needed and explained clearly why it was not straightforward - I would say that overall his communication was very clear. The job went very well. Excellent service from the 2 guys at Optimal Plumbing and Engineering Ltd. I had an issue with lining up an inlet valve to the pipework for my downstairs toilet after replacing the floor, called them at 10:30am and they attended same day. Both were extremely polite and friendly, they tidied up after themselves and most importantly got the job done at a reasonable rate. Fantastic service and company and I will not hesitate to use them again in future!

I am really happy with the work Adam and Ryan did on fitting my new kitchen sink waste pipes. They fitted me in around their jobs, were polite, efficient and very helpful. I had an issue with my dishwasher not draining later on and a couple of rogue slight leaks from my new sink and they came back, same day, and fixed the lot. I’d recommend them to anyone! At last! A plumber who is willing to 'go the extra mile' – in every sense! After literally months of trying to get a local plumber to even come and look at a small leak in an old lead mains pipe, we were forced to look further afield. We are now glad we did. We are so happy to have found Michael who kindly came to our aid, in spite of the fact we were out of his usual area, and the problem is now fixed. Friendly, approachable and very reassuring, he had the sort of expertise which only comes with years of experience. Although, they were only with us a couple of hours, he and his son both had the sort of quality which inspires trust. We will definitely call them first for any future plumbing needs.

I called Michael up a month and half ago to look at and fix a leakage from our upstairs bathroom which was dripping through the ceiling into our kitchen. He came promptly and spent good time getting the job done. Clear proof is that it's been almost 2 months since then and fortunately no problem / leakage at all! Great company to fit your EV charger at home. They come in and have a look at everything and let you decide which charger to fit. Then give you a quote and options so you can decide what you want to do. We had a problem during first week with charging and within few hours of raising this issue, it was fixed. Great service.
