Because of unusually light traffic, I arrived a fair bit earlier than my appointment time but was seen straight away. Both Bal on reception and her brother (apologies, I forgot his name) were very sociable and during the checks and testing, I was given a comprehensive explanation of the possible causes of the dropping coolant level. Should the problem require remedial work, I will have no hesitation in returning to Martek.

Fantastic first impression of this family run business. My son has been using them for a couple of years now for his Mercedes C63s. I thought I would try them after a bad experience with Audi main dealer. From first contact I was impressed with the friendly customer service from Bal. They had the flexibility to fit me in for a MOT as I had to go after work. Again very good customer service when i got there. Nice touch with good refreshment station. Will be using Martek for my next service and will avoid Audi ( ridiculous pricing and very poor flexibilty to fit you in and changed the price half way through the job, not for extra work but for same job, don't want to talk any more about Audi Listers). Hope to continue my custom with Martek. Kerp up the good work. 😊

Outstanding service dropped car of 8.30am for new exhaust, got a courtesy car to use and collected mine at 5.30pm same day. Staff so polite and friendly made to feel abit special. Great price also. Very happy customer. Already booked in again for M.O.T. Thank you lawson and the team.

While driving nearby, my car developed a fault with the tyres. Headed to BTS as they were closest and they were kind enough to fit me in and take a look at the problem within 10 minutes. Staff were polite and friendly, and got me back on the road. Would recommend.

The team were friendly, Antayah dealt with me initially on the phone and greeted me when I arrive at the garage, she had a great telephone manner and made me feel like there way no trouble with me dropping in to get a puncture looked at. Lewis dealt with the repair, talked me through things and was polite and knowledgeable about everything. Resolved my issue in a timely manner and I was very satisfied with the work. No work was done without me being consulted first and told how much updated bill would be with new costs. I can't speak highly enough as kind and friendly staff helped wherever possible. As a women it’s not always easy to find a garage that won’t make you feel uncomfortable or stupid (if you don’t really know what’s wrong with your car) but everyone at Hawes garage made me feel so comfortable and safe. They did my car the same day, communicated the problem and cost fully transparently. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I took my old car here after being recommended this garage by a few people, I was also advised by a lady that this garage doesn’t take advantage of women like a lot of garages do and I can confirm this is true. I’ve always found this place fairly priced & I bring my new car here now. I’d say the workers are a bunch of trustworthy people. I don’t feel awkward when attending here(I’m a really awkward person lol) & I make sure to recommend this place to anyone I speak to, even my dad likes this place & he is very hard to please!

I live over in Sutton Coldfield now but always travel over to this garage for my MOT. I've been doing so for the past 5 years. I drop my car off first thing in the morning and then catch the train from Sandwell and Dudley Station (a 15 minute walk away) and then go into Brum center and pick up my car on the way back. I thought I would mention this and how close the railway station is in case others outside of the Oldbury area wanted to drop their car off at this garage and do something similar. Mick the owner comes across as a great guy and trustworthy mechanic to me ( and the other guys who work there) so I don't mind traveling a bit of distance to get there and will continue to do so. 👍

Had a remap on my BMW today and it's like a different car! Thank you! James was efficient in picking up, tuning and returning the vehicle and was happy to communicate efficiently. Honestly can't believe the vehicle was capable of so much, absolutely buzzing! The gearbox seems so much happier now too! Would report back on fuel efficiency as well as power but can't stop overtaking things 🤣 Fantastic. Even spent time to help diagnose a fault on the vehicle which he didn't have to. Definitely recommended.

First time using this garage and I am very impressed!!! I will only use this garage from now on. I had a problem with my engine and I took my car to four diffrent garage's. Two out the four garages said i need a new engine and the other two didnt want the job. I was literally about to scrap the car. A few days ago I had a leaflet in my post box advertising JGR Auto care I must say i was impressed by the leaflet and it looks very professional so I thought I would give them a call and try one last garage. So glad I did, I left the car there for one day and by the next day I had a phone call with a full explanation to what is wrong with the engine and the best bit by far. It only cost me less than £200 pound and they got my car ruining perfect again. I didn't need a new engine or take it to the scrap yard. JGR are very professional thankyou so much James

Absolutely brilliant, a huge thank you to the wonderful team!😊 My car had been diagnosed by three other garages to have an “irreparable” fault. I had spent a lot of money (over £200) and wasted countless hours going from one garage to the next and was at my tether’s end by the time I came to these guys. They ran some tests and amazingly, had diagnosed the fault within 20mins of my arrival and fixed it within the hour. The work was completed to a great standard and at a very reasonable price. I passed my MOT six months ago with flying colours and have had no issues whatsoever. These guys were very professional, highly skilled and exceptionally polite and friendly. They answered all of my questions and were so kind. They fixed a supposedly un-fixable car and saved me a huge amount of time, money and stress. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Can not praise the team enough. Exceptional service and very polite. My drivers window wouldnt go up and i went to them and they made sure i left with the window temporarily secured, tricky job, took a bit of time to unlock the window, stuck in the door. They ordered the part, didnt take any money for their time that day, called me a week later and fitted the motor needed but moreso it was the time and dedication to make sure its fully operation and drying out the water damage which i appreciated. I was so impressed i paid more than i was asked. They asked for MUCH LESS, so reasonable but i had quotes from elsewhere for almost £500 (that garage was taking advantage of my situation really).So glad i found the Bridge Street garage!! Recommend 100%. Honest and relaible!

As a woman who has no idea of the mechanic of cars, there is always a fear of what a garage could do to your car and what they could charge you. However, with this garage, they look after you and ensure you know what’s going on by explaining in an easy way without making you feel intimidated. Mo who is the owner is very understanding and caring. He cares about his customers and ensures they get the best service. His team of mechanics are the best. My car was fixed quickly and it was worth every penny as you can trust these people. Other garages lied to me and wanted to rip me off but Mo sorted it all out with the truth. This garage has been recommended to me by about 10 other people so that tells you how amazing they are. I will never go anywhere else again. A very professional service. An estimate was provided, all of the works required were explained to me and identified on my car. I was advised where there could be some additional works and why these may cost more. It was agreed that I would be notified in advance if any extra works were found so that I could accept or decline them. I was given an accurate timescale for the works to be undertaken and when the car was collected I was shown all of the works that had been completed and given the opportunity to check that I was satisfied. I will be recommending this garage to family and friends for works required to their cars and will be happy to return in the future.

Great repair work done to my Renault Clios' ball joint and wheel bearing. Parts had seized and were unable to be removed without damage but Paul managed to salvage what parts he possibly could, that were still in good condition and safe, to save on unnecessary works and costs. Would highly recommend and use again.

Saab owners, this is a treasure of a find in the West Mids, Saab knowledge, tools and very reasonable prices. I brought my 9-5 in for two of the most dreaded repairs - the drivers side window regulator(too beat up just to replace rollers) and the throttle body. Hard enough on their own, even more difficult with a modified engine. Work was perfect, owner and mechanics cool as anything. Finished up with a throttle body reprogram and idle adjust on the GM Tech 2 . I highly recommend. They didn't even mind that I watched like a hawk the whole time - love my Saab. Take yours to P D without any worries.
