We’ve been going to Cramar since 2016 when we adopted our beautiful cat “Patch” from a care home. Nearly a year ago, Patch was diagnosed with advanced hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, left sided congestive heart failure and high-risk for blood clot formation, which was diagnosed by Blaise Veterinary Referral Hospital. Therefore, Patch was placed on four different medications to help control his condition. For the majority of the last 12 months, Patch was doing really well, but unfortunately, over the last month, small signs of deterioration were starting to creep in. Sadly, on Tuesday, we had to make the very difficult decision to put Patch to sleep despite 4 hours in an oxygen tent and other medical intervention. The vet, nurses and receptionist were extremely compassionate and respectful to us on the day. We were given all the options available and reassured that it was the best decision for Patch’s welfare. We requested a piece of fur and were also given Patch’s paw prints. We also received a lovely sympathy card today, which is very thoughtful of them. Thanks again for everything you did for Patch. I can't fault Cramar Vets. I used them for my previous dog and they were superb - caring, kind and realistic. Lots cheaper than many vets and I love that they are affiliated with the cat sanctuary.

I have had the pleasure of using Cramar for years. I have taken on a challenging rescued dog who has medical conditions making him less tolerant. They have been brilliant at working with me and my boy. Not once have they given up on us. Thanks Ruth, Clare and all the amazing staff at Cramar.

The best vets for my pets! We own dog and cat and Guinea pigs. I have used Cramar vets for them all and my experience was always super positive. Very professional, knowledgable and kind people. Not only vets there, even nurses and receptionists are always super helpful. You can’t go wrong here!

I registered 2 kittens with White Cross Vets and have also joined up to the Wellness plan for them both. My first visit to White Cross with my 17 year old dog and I have to say I was so impressed!! The vet we saw was so lovely and made the experience stress free. He took the time to fuss and reassure my dog who can be very nervous. He explained everything thoroughly and was very caring. I have signed up to their Wellness Plan which is very good value . I would definitely recommend this vets practice. !!

Brilliant practice and you can tell that all of the staff love animals and genuinely want to help. Monthly wellbeing service has been great value and has given me some much needed reassurance also. Highly recommend.

My partner has been using this practice for around seven years, & speaks very highly of it. I recently went to pickup a prescription for one of the cat's, the lady from reception was halfway across the carpark with it before I even got out of my car ..... Thank you brilliant service.

We very recently adopted a dog from dogs trust who had developed a limp. I called and the receptionist was do friendly and managed to book us in thw next day. Our dog was collected from the car by a lovely vet who was reassuring and lovely and our dog although very nerbous, came back relaxed. Great service, great advice and very helpful. Thank you

Excellent vet to our 3 cats, explain everything well and outline all the options available. The course of treatment is recommended, and expected outcomes given. Easy to get an appointment once registered, all the staff have been polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Can't fault these guys, they really care about the cat & are happy to discuss all options.

I cannot express enough how caring and kind Sarah is my dog Blue actually wags tail when sees her. Before his operation i was very reassured by Sarah and her lovely staff.

The vets at this centre are amazing highly recommend to take any animal there. We take our injured wildlife birds that comes into my brother rescue and they are amazing with them they decide if it’s best to be put to sleep or to come back into the rescue and live a happy life. They never put animal small or big to sleep if it’s not recommended. Best veterinary practice in Birmingham definitely worth going

This place is absolutely 5 stars and more! Our bunny broke her jaw and our own vets could not do anything for her, someone was looking down on us when we got transferred to Manor Vets Edgbaston. Mikel her vet is an absolute genius and the kindest man we have ever met, he goes above and beyond to help and honestly we would not thank him enough! He always remained positive and nothing was too much trouble, she would not be here without him. The nurse Faye is the sweetest person, equally as compassionate and caring and helped not only with our bunny taking great care of her but made us feel so at ease, such a lovely person. The reception staff, well it’s safe to say we spent a lot of time with these ladies on our trip weekly visits for 3 months, they are kind, compassionate and just great people and we enjoyed there company! Our bunny is now all fixed because of these great people and she will be staying at this vets for any future treatment and her vaccinations, thank you guys, you really are the best x Highly highly highly recommend this vets!

They saved my budgie's life! I can't say enough words how good and operative they all been! If not all the Manor staff I wouldn't have my budgie by now.. They all together did this amazing job! Highly highly reccomend this practice for their exotic vet care for rodents from my experience. Receptionists are fantastic, very knowledgable and experienced vets, extremely transparent & offer all treatment options. My hamster unfortunately passed, and they treated me and her with such kindness even for a pet some people deem lesser, they laid her in a box ready for burial with a flower. I cannot thank this practice and their staff enough.

I have been with this vet for over ten years and they have always been so helpful and supportive with my cats. Recently my small cat was very unwell and the vet Emily could have not done more for her, and me. Only complaint would be the prices but I think it's the same everywhere at the moment

Our elderly cavalier has a heart murmur and we might have needed a scan (expensive). We had agreed to the cost but Vet Steve said she is not bad enough to need it yet and charged us NOTHING. What great ethics and care. Thank you so very much. We changed from a vet owned by VC’s to Ashfield and have not regretted it for a single moment. Wonderful animal people

We have been coming to this practice for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. Everything is always explained and you can ask as many questions as you like. Over the years we have lost our family pets and i love the fact that we recieve sympathy cards from the surgery.

Our cat needed a check up and the staff at 608 were brilliant from beginning to end. The cat isn't used to being out of the house so was a bit traumatised by the car journey but because of the care the staff at 608 Acocks green showed, he calmed down and was given the right treatment. Can't thank them enough.

Very friendly staff & very good, kind, caring, compassionate exotic specialist Siobhan. She was amazing with my very anxious rabbit, so loving & sensitive towards him. Definitely recommend using 608 vets. Thank you so much.

Surprised to read some negative reviews from here. I have 3 cats that I’ve been bringing here for the last 5 years and the only negative I can think of is the odd occasion I’ve been kept waiting 10 mins for an appointment (which is nothing). Staff here are always so excellent. I believe the vet we met with today is called Bart (sorry if I misheard!) and he was so lovely, professional and calming while explaining how to treat our cat’s illness. We’ve been here countless times and never had a bad experience. It’s a 20 minute drive from our house and we have tonnes of vets closer to home but we prefer our cats to be in safe hands after having poor experiences with others vets around us. Thank you to everyone who works here for all your help over the last 5 years, we wouldn’t choose anywhere else to take our boys!

Just like to give a big thank you to all the staff who were working on the 30th March 2024. I had to book an appointment to have my boy put to sleep as he was very ill. I could hardly talk when I phoned, the receptionist was so patient with me and got me in as soon as possible. The lady that dealt with us, I didn't get her name, I was a bit oblivious to what was going on to be honest. She was so kind, helping in anyway, she even said she'd wait for my son and daughter as they wanted to be there. I've never lost a pet in this way before, so it was a new experience for me. When I had to have my cat Lucky put to sleep the staff were amazing. They showed us empathy and compassion and it was handled in a very dignified manner. It was the little touches like letting me holding her as she went and the fur clippings and paw and nose prints that added to the meaningfullness. They made a very traumatic time, easier than I'd of imagined. I have another cat, Roamie who is looked after by them and that won't be changing! Thank you, to you all !

Blaise vets ,used in an emergency in the early hours of the morning. Great surgery and nice staff,kept me informed of what was happening or going to happen. Excellent service. But wow just wow before you see the vet you are told it's over £300 pound. Excessive amount to have to pay. But I couldn't leave my pet in pain, but that cost would I am sure put other people off from taking there animals,there for emergency.

Came in recently with our guinea pig in a really bad way, they dropped everything on sight and attended to him immediately upon our arrival with kindness and compassion. The receptionist and the vet that evening were so supportive and understanding in that difficult time. Unfortunately the outcome wasn't positive but through no fault of the staff there, they helped see us out with empathy and patience and they made the whole situation a little bit easier. Absoloutly amazing staff from the vets to the nurses to the receptionists. Saw my pet in our of hours and again for over night care after surgery and can't thank them enough for the love and care they gave my dog pumpkin and the compassion they showed to me also, very thorough and kept me informed on everything they were doing and very happy to update me when I called in the night to check on her. Can't recommend nor thank them enough. I knew she was in safe hands.

Friendly and helpful staff. The vet who treated our dog in an emergency situation was very reassuring and caring. A fantastic state of the art new clean facility and the coffee machine was an added bonus.

Always found this practice efficient and helpful for advice on the health care of our two cats. Had to attend again recently with minor concerns about one of our cats. We got a rapid appointment, apparently they have extended their opening hours. Got a thorough and expert assessment and reassurance. Very pleased

Our cat Lucy had become very ill She has always been looked after by the lodge vets. They treated her for repeated tummy problems over the last couple of years but the time had come to put her to sleep.They couln't have been kinder to Lucy and us. She passed away very peacefully. Well done to the veterinary team.They are a credit to the practice. Highly recommended.
