This is by far the best vets we have used. Our previous vets don’t match up to the standard and care you get from mere green pool house vets practices. From the team on reception to the vets themselves are all professional and welcoming. We know Our 3 kittens are in good hands when they visit.

So happy I chose this vets for my two cats. I think they're handling the whole covid situation brilliantly. The girl on reception (Amy) is so lovely and chatty. I met the vet at the door who clearly explained the treatment my cat would need, the benefits and what I could expect in the future. I have total faith that they will care for my pets in the future. Can’t recommend this vets enough. I had an appointment tonight for my dog but unfortunately due to him being unwell had to cancel 45 minutes before hand and the staff were so lovely about it. Rescheduled there and then and managed to work with me to sort the time around my working hours. Nothing is ever too much for Pool House Vets. All of the vets and reception staff are lovely especially Amy! Always so helpful, kind, caring and understanding, nothing is ever too much for them! They’re so passionate about their job and it really shows :) In these very uncertain times they have the best procedure in place and I would happily leave my dog with anyone here and I know he will be safe and looked after. Well done guys and thank for everything!

Thank you so much to Kat and the rest of the JH team for the compassion and patience shown to us as a family this week when we sadly had to put our dog to sleep. He was handled with such care in his final moments by Kat, and throughout the past 6 months by the whole team since we registered him with this practice. You all have made a truly horrible experience so much more bearable, we can’t thank you enough!

Having had a cat that has had problems for several years now and not been sorted out, I changed vets to here and have had such good care for my girlie with diagnostic tests explored and explained fully by the lovely committed vet Megan who spent time and effort trying to solve the issues my cat has and not just prescribing medications to mask the real cause for her discomfort and distress at times. I’m very happy and my cat is more relaxed here than she has ever been at a vets surgery before. She isn’t meowing on the way there in protest anymore and coming back hungry and happy after a consultation. Thank you Megan for being so attentive and caring. Much appreciated!!! An update is my cat has had further tests including a scan on her abdomen and X-rays which sadly have revealed a problem with her liver which unfortunately cannot be cured. I and my beautiful girlie have had support and compassion from the team including James. Very sad but thankful for a local vet that opens Saturday morning too as I had to go in for emergency medication. Would definitely recommend them.

We recently changed our vets to James Horner for our young cavapoo Blue. It was a big decision for us to make but we needed help. What a wonderful vets they are, all the team from front of house reception, nursing staff and vets were lovely. It was a real breath of fresh air. Holly, the vet that looked after us and Blue was exceptional, kind, caring,compassionate and professional at the same time. She put us at our ease and listened to our concerns and made a real effort to get to know Blue. A real independent vets with the personal touch that is so important. We highly recommend James and his team. It is the small touches and details too that set this veterinarian practice apart.

We have nothing but praise for Katie and the other members of staff we met. Everyone very friendly and efficient. Katie was excellent. What more can we say !

Fantastic vet! Saw my cat on time, friendly receptionist and friendly & helpful vets. Good location albeit the parking space is a little tight. Separate rooms for cats and dogs as well which is great. Appointments ran on time - no complaints.

Excellent vets, used for many years for both cats and my dog. They listen to any concerns and always do a thorough examination when required. Staff are friendly and it always feels welcoming. Never have an issue to get an appointment, and the few occasions we've had an emergency, it has been dealt with in an exceptional manner. Highly recommend.

They saved my budgie's life! I can't say enough words how good and operative they all been! If not all the Manor staff I wouldn't have my budgie by now.. They all together did this amazing job! This place is absolutely 5 stars and more! Our bunny broke her jaw and our own vets could not do anything for her, someone was looking down on us when we got transferred to Manor Vets Edgbaston. Mikel her vet is an absolute genius and the kindest man we have ever met, he goes above and beyond to help and honestly we would not thank him enough! He always remained positive and nothing was too much trouble, she would not be here without him. The nurse Faye is the sweetest person, equally as compassionate and caring and helped not only with our bunny taking great care of her but made us feel so at ease, such a lovely person. The reception staff, well it’s safe to say we spent a lot of time with these ladies on our trip weekly visits for 3 months, they are kind, compassionate and just great people and we enjoyed there company! Our bunny is now all fixed because of these great people and she will be staying at this vets for any future treatment and her vaccinations, thank you guys, you really are the best x Highly highly highly recommend this vets!

Highly highly reccomend this practice for their exotic vet care for rodents from my experience. Receptionists are fantastic, very knowledgable and experienced vets, extremely transparent & offer all treatment options. My hamster unfortunately passed, and they treated me and her with such kindness even for a pet some people deem lesser, they laid her in a box ready for burial with a flower. I cannot thank this practice and their staff enough.

Fantastic vets, especially Jack and Mikel, and nursing staff, especially Mandy. Reception staff are also extremely helpful and supportive. I would recommend this team to anyone who has rabbits. The team is so knowledgeable and also happy to educate owners to better manage and understand their rabbits needs.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Fivelands Vets. They are always very professional and listen to concerns. Animals are treated with respect and gentleness.

Friendly and caring staff. It is obvious that everyone who works there loves animals. They vets are knowledgeable about greyhounds who have different blood levels to other dogs, which is fantastic for us! Recommend

Have used this veterinary Centre in Yardley for a long time now with 2 of my dogs. I have found them very good and treated your ani.al and yourself very good and professional. Always there to help if you have any questions about your pet. Fully recommended them.

I had my 2 cats neutered and microchip done here they were amazing with them both as they were abit stressed as was in the carriers and didn't like them and were so polite and friendly towards myself knowing I was worried about leaving them so helpful in after care advice even chatted with me about their needs for after as I dropped them off so I did go shopping to get what needed before picking them up I've had no problems with my cats after 100% definitely would recommend them to others and will keep my cats registered here

Absoloutly amazing staff from the vets to the nurses to the receptionists. Saw my pet in our of hours and again for over night care after surgery and can't thank them enough for the love and care they gave my dog pumpkin and the compassion they showed to me also, very thorough and kept me informed on everything they were doing and very happy to update me when I called in the night to check on her. Can't recommend nor thank them enough. I knew she was in safe hands.

Friendly and helpful staff. The vet who treated our dog in an emergency situation was very reassuring and caring. A fantastic state of the art new clean facility and the coffee machine was an added bonus.

We brought our baby bearded dragon here as an emergency due to an accident was seen so quickly and the details of what needed to happen was spot on! Sergio is AMAZING the way he dealt with our bearded dragon was far from our expectations he was brilliant! We will definitely be using 608 Vets for our other animals. We can’t thank you guys enough for looking after our Rex. Beyond brilliant vets would definitely recommend!

I had to bring my 1-year-old cat to this emergency vet after he was suspected of being hit by a car. I was seen the same day by Alexandra, a lovely vet who quickly assessed him. X-rays suggested a pelvic fracture, so I was given pain medication and asked to return the next day for further evaluation. At the follow-up, we met Graham, who was fantastic—his humor helped ease my anxiety, and he clearly explained the x-rays, injury, and possible outcomes. Given my cat’s young age, we decided on strict cage rest and pain management, expecting a full recovery. A follow-up was scheduled for the following week. The entire team, from vets to nurses and reception staff, was professional, communicative, and incredibly kind. When I called the emergency line with medication questions that night, they were patient and reassuring. Vet bills add up fast, so having insurance or savings is essential—you never know when an emergency will happen. While I hope I won’t need to return, I’m grateful to know my pets would be in good hands if I do. Thank you for your care and professionalism!

My puppy eat rat poison. I immediately called my Vet practice by Morrisons who refused to see him unless symptoms were occur. I was told to wait 1 or 2 hours and I would see any foam coming out from his mouth, vomiting or diarrhea they would then take him as emergency. I listen to my instincts to go to Vets for Pets in Sheldon. Everyone was very friendly, took my puppy for detoxing treatment, after 1 hour they informed me that they could see a lot of poison pellets in his vomit and that I did the right thing of coming in straight away . Thank you for saving my puppy life

I've been going here for many years with various cats and have always been more than happy with their friendly attitude and professional expertise. Took my little cat in today as she wasn't well and Marcus quickly found an abscess that we hadn't seen even though we had been checking her. Had jabs and by the time we got her home she was looking for food. Great outcome.

Really friendly and professional. It take my dog a little bit of time to get used to new people but straight away he felt comfortable with all staff members he encountered. We've now been a couple of times and every time they've been helpful, calm, friendly and answered any and all questions.

I was really nervous about taking my very reactive nervous dog to the vets but they handled and treated by dog so very well. I was very happy as my dog and myself were not traumatised by the experience. Thank you so very much.
