Fantastic vet! Saw my cat on time, friendly receptionist and friendly & helpful vets. Good location albeit the parking space is a little tight. Separate rooms for cats and dogs as well which is great. Appointments ran on time - no complaints.

I recently taken my dog here and my gosh the service was amazing! The staff are so friendly and supportive. I felt very comfortable with how they looked after my fur baby! Really appreciate and would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I cannot express enough how impressed I am with Megan’s professionalism and expertise at Sheldon Clinic in Birmingham. My usually friendly but understandably stressed cat was in significant pain, and Megan handled the situation with exceptional care and compassion. What stood out most was how Megan communicated. She was open and direct about the issues we needed to address, including my cat’s weight and how it affects his overall health. Her honesty was refreshing, and her advice was practical and actionable, giving us clear steps to help improve his wellbeing. Megan’s gentle yet confident manner instantly put my cat at ease, and I truly appreciated her ability to balance professionalism with genuine care. My dog had terrible anxiety issues today It was he’s first time here. He had a bad experiences At he’s last vet. Nice friendly place,small vet clinic with small reception but it is very nice and kindhearted stuff.Here you can find medicine and shampoo for your dog,anti flea products and some helpful things for cats and dogs.There is a parking for some cars. My mom lost a dog and this people helped us to find him healthy and happy.

My first visit after transferring from a different Shirley practice went smoothly. Efficiently dealt with at reception and promptly seen by vet. A small practice which is less intimidating with fewer pets waiting to be seen. Efficient diagnosis and treatment prescribed for my 15 yo dog which was soon effective. Parked right outside with no problem. Very happy with my move.

My puppy eat rat poison. I immediately called my Vet practice by Morrisons who refused to see him unless symptoms were occur. I was told to wait 1 or 2 hours and I would see any foam coming out from his mouth, vomiting or diarrhea they would then take him as emergency. I listen to my instincts to go to Vets for Pets in Sheldon. Everyone was very friendly, took my puppy for detoxing treatment, after 1 hour they informed me that they could see a lot of poison pellets in his vomit and that I did the right thing of coming in straight away . Thank you for saving my puppy life

I have been with Medivet Solihull for many many years and am so well acquainted with the practice that the staff sadly know when its me on the phone. I have stayed with the practice for such a length of time due to the nurses / front of house staff who have remained the same over the years. Cassie the Vet Nurse is exceptional - she 100% gets the love we have for our pets. Everything she handles is done with the upmost professionalism and care. Fiona is also fantastic and is always very helpful & lovely. I have recently had 2 surgeries for my dogs at the practice and both times I felt confident that they were in the best hands. Thank you both! The new vets/partners, Eduardo & Dimitra are very much welcomed, it is great to have permanent vets on board and it makes the continuity of care and advise much easier to follow. They are both extremely through and take a lot of time with you and your pet. Thank you Medivet Solihull

I visited Medivet because I found a hedgehog in our garden that looked a little unwell. I took it there for some help, not knowing what to do. It turned out the hedgehog wasn’t unwell but maybe just a little too hot. They kept him in until I could collect and release him back into the wild. I think this is incredible in a world where no one does anything for free. I received updates about his health over the two days he was there. Given the amount of information and care provided, I would 100% use this vet if I had a pet. Thank you so much!

I’ve been coming to this practice for years. It’s now medivet and it’s still a great service. Alit if the vets and nurses know my dog and he’s always treated with care and kindness. They also listen to your needs and talk to you about all levels of treatment available.

Eduardo is absolutely amazing!!! We are now proud owners of a Preloved dog and we needed to get him registered quickly, the online system was quick and easy, they had an appointment available but we had to bring our children with us, he was patient and fantastic with our kids and our new dog. When we visited again because our dog needed an urgent appointment on the day they saw us incredibly quickly. Eduardo took his time explaining everything to us, answered all my questions easily and was again absolutely fantastic!! I left feeling a lot lighter, a lot more reassured, and more confident.

Our cat needed a check up and the staff at 608 were brilliant from beginning to end. The cat isn't used to being out of the house so was a bit traumatised by the car journey but because of the care the staff at 608 Acocks green showed, he calmed down and was given the right treatment. Can't thank them enough.

We have been coming to this practice for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. Everything is always explained and you can ask as many questions as you like. Over the years we have lost our family pets and i love the fact that we recieve sympathy cards from the surgery.

We had to take our 50kg boy to the team today as an emergency, losing blood and he was terrified. We can honestly say the whole team from start to finish were incredible, so patient with him and very informative. Happy to have such a great vet. My 1st visit was very traumatic as my beautiful old cat became sick and I had to put her down. I found the staff very supportive from the cleaner to receptionist, nurse and vets. They were very empathetic and caring considering I was a balling mess. The vet explained everything in an empathic way and gave me the time I needed to put her down. Staff also allowed me to go through the back exit to avoid people in my hour of duress.

Always found this practice efficient and helpful for advice on the health care of our two cats. Had to attend again recently with minor concerns about one of our cats. We got a rapid appointment, apparently they have extended their opening hours. Got a thorough and expert assessment and reassurance. Very pleased

The night vet was kind enough to see my hamster late at night. Before the consult, they told me the overnight team were not exotic specialists but the day team are likely to help better which helped me understand why I didn't have all the answers I wanted. The day team indeed had exotic pet experience, and ensured that I'm well informed about my hamster's condition. Unfortunately, he was too unwell to be treated and the team dealt with that appropriately and with compassion. Whilst horrible circumstances to be there under, I found all the staff are very suited to their jobs. Prices are appropriate (compared to previous experience in other cities for small rodents). Thank you 608, for helping me at a really difficult time.

I had to bring my 1-year-old cat to this emergency vet after he was suspected of being hit by a car. I was seen the same day by Alexandra, a lovely vet who quickly assessed him. X-rays suggested a pelvic fracture, so I was given pain medication and asked to return the next day for further evaluation. At the follow-up, we met Graham, who was fantastic—his humor helped ease my anxiety, and he clearly explained the x-rays, injury, and possible outcomes. Given my cat’s young age, we decided on strict cage rest and pain management, expecting a full recovery. A follow-up was scheduled for the following week. The entire team, from vets to nurses and reception staff, was professional, communicative, and incredibly kind. When I called the emergency line with medication questions that night, they were patient and reassuring. Vet bills add up fast, so having insurance or savings is essential—you never know when an emergency will happen. While I hope I won’t need to return, I’m grateful to know my pets would be in good hands if I do. Thank you for your care and professionalism!

We brought our baby bearded dragon here as an emergency due to an accident was seen so quickly and the details of what needed to happen was spot on! Sergio is AMAZING the way he dealt with our bearded dragon was far from our expectations he was brilliant! We will definitely be using 608 Vets for our other animals. We can’t thank you guys enough for looking after our Rex. Beyond brilliant vets would definitely recommend!
