Can’t recommend this vets enough. I had an appointment tonight for my dog but unfortunately due to him being unwell had to cancel 45 minutes before hand and the staff were so lovely about it. Rescheduled there and then and managed to work with me to sort the time around my working hours. Nothing is ever too much for Pool House Vets. All of the vets and reception staff are lovely especially Amy! Always so helpful, kind, caring and understanding, nothing is ever too much for them! They’re so passionate about their job and it really shows :) In these very uncertain times they have the best procedure in place and I would happily leave my dog with anyone here and I know he will be safe and looked after. Well done guys and thank for everything!

Very friendly welcoming practice and everything explained clearly as to what they have to offer. No problem with getting quick and convenient appointments when required. Been using this vets since I had ny kitten just over a year ago. I would definitely recommend them.

So happy I chose this vets for my two cats. I think they're handling the whole covid situation brilliantly. The girl on reception (Amy) is so lovely and chatty. I met the vet at the door who clearly explained the treatment my cat would need, the benefits and what I could expect in the future. I have total faith that they will care for my pets in the future. Fantastic 387 vets team, 5 stars are not enough. We have used 387 vets on several occasions for our dog Whisper. The level of care received has always been outstanding.with a special mention to vet nurse Alana. Hamish and his team, are outstanding and 100% caring. The WhatsApp service in invaluable and I’ve never heard of that before. But it’s healed a lot without an appointment. 5 stars because in grateful of all the services provided. Our family (and others we've recommended) has been using this vets for nearly 20 years and we couldn't recommend them enough. Our experience with 387 vets has been overwhelmingly positive and any concerns or issues we've had have always been addressed promptly. They might appear more expensive than other vets in the area but their services match the price. They've approached all of our pets with genuine care and compassion (and this is true for everyone we've dealt with at the practice) and have answered any questions we've had about treatment (and we've asked quite a few!) with compassion and clarity. One of our cats went through chemotherapy here last year and they out our minds at ease throughout this stressful time. They even allowed one of our other cats to accompany him, to help with her behaviour after each of his chemotherapy visits. Our other cat recently stopped eating and they didn't hesitate to look into what the issue may be and provided us with options on how best to help her. The staff are lovely and I genuinely don't think you can find a better vet practice than this one. We appreciate everything you have done for and continue to do for us! Thank you.

Amazing practice! Before deciding on a new vet for my cat, I researched Birmingham vets and their operators. Orchard Vets and their plans help make accessing great support for my pet accessible and not stressful. While the vets are 20 minutes away from where we live, it's worth the journey. They make it simple to understand all costs and the actual service and vets are amazing. Reception is always kind and warm and you can tell that everyone sincerely loves helping animals. I trust my pet in their hands and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet.

We very recently adopted a dog from dogs trust who had developed a limp. I called and the receptionist was do friendly and managed to book us in thw next day. Our dog was collected from the car by a lovely vet who was reassuring and lovely and our dog although very nerbous, came back relaxed. Great service, great advice and very helpful. Thank you

Excellent vet to our 3 cats, explain everything well and outline all the options available. The course of treatment is recommended, and expected outcomes given. Easy to get an appointment once registered, all the staff have been polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Can't fault these guys, they really care about the cat & are happy to discuss all options.

I've been going here for many years with various cats and have always been more than happy with their friendly attitude and professional expertise. Took my little cat in today as she wasn't well and Marcus quickly found an abscess that we hadn't seen even though we had been checking her. Had jabs and by the time we got her home she was looking for food. Great outcome.

I would not take my dog anywhere else the staff here are amazing and the care and love they give to the animals is outstanding. My dog was very ill when a puppy and all the tests were done and the care was brilliant. I have trouble getting Tilly out of there when we go she loves all the staff so much. Really friendly and professional. It take my dog a little bit of time to get used to new people but straight away he felt comfortable with all staff members he encountered. We've now been a couple of times and every time they've been helpful, calm, friendly and answered any and all questions.

Took my two rescue kittens. the vet was absolutely brilliant with lilly and ruby my brother recommended fivelands as used with Digby his cat. I visited today with my daughter and her dog Shiloh, who unfortunately had to be put to sleep. The staff were very kind and compassionate, a massive thank you to all of them.

Our elderly cat was a patient of AK Duncan for 18 months after we adopted her. She suffered from both thyroid issues and kidney failiure which meant she required regular vet visits and blood tests. Hannah was our primary vet and although our cat was an angry and difficult patient at times, she was always treated with gentle care and patience. Hannah did everything she could to provide options and care to prolong her life, comfortably and informed us of all options. Sadly we had to say goodbye to her a few weeks ago and again, although incredibly painful, Hannah went above and beyond to make it as comfortable and as dignified as possible. It was clear that she was invested in our family and our situation which was a huge comfort.

I had to bring my 1-year-old cat to this emergency vet after he was suspected of being hit by a car. I was seen the same day by Alexandra, a lovely vet who quickly assessed him. X-rays suggested a pelvic fracture, so I was given pain medication and asked to return the next day for further evaluation. At the follow-up, we met Graham, who was fantastic—his humor helped ease my anxiety, and he clearly explained the x-rays, injury, and possible outcomes. Given my cat’s young age, we decided on strict cage rest and pain management, expecting a full recovery. A follow-up was scheduled for the following week. The entire team, from vets to nurses and reception staff, was professional, communicative, and incredibly kind. When I called the emergency line with medication questions that night, they were patient and reassuring. Vet bills add up fast, so having insurance or savings is essential—you never know when an emergency will happen. While I hope I won’t need to return, I’m grateful to know my pets would be in good hands if I do. Thank you for your care and professionalism!

The night vet was kind enough to see my hamster late at night. Before the consult, they told me the overnight team were not exotic specialists but the day team are likely to help better which helped me understand why I didn't have all the answers I wanted. The day team indeed had exotic pet experience, and ensured that I'm well informed about my hamster's condition. Unfortunately, he was too unwell to be treated and the team dealt with that appropriately and with compassion. Whilst horrible circumstances to be there under, I found all the staff are very suited to their jobs. Prices are appropriate (compared to previous experience in other cities for small rodents). We brought our baby bearded dragon here as an emergency due to an accident was seen so quickly and the details of what needed to happen was spot on! Sergio is AMAZING the way he dealt with our bearded dragon was far from our expectations he was brilliant! We will definitely be using 608 Vets for our other animals. We can’t thank you guys enough for looking after our Rex. Beyond brilliant vets would definitely recommend!

What a change. I took my two girls in today for their top up jabs. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Eles, the vet and Alice the other vet were a great team. And I must mention the help at the reception, it was how you want a Vets to be!

Our elderly cavalier has a heart murmur and we might have needed a scan (expensive). We had agreed to the cost but Vet Steve said she is not bad enough to need it yet and charged us NOTHING. What great ethics and care. Thank you so very much. We changed from a vet owned by VC’s to Ashfield and have not regretted it for a single moment. Wonderful animal people
