The care and compassion that James, Kat, Sophie D, Sophie, JB, Hollie F, Sam, Freya, Louise, Sarah, Leigh and everyone else working within this practice is beyond anything I have ever experienced. (Those named are the people I dealt wirh personally). My cat Missy was a patient there for 2 years, starting with a full dental due to having calici virus, then her regular check ups and then her final months with Kidney Disease. Everyone rallied round to try and find solutions, treatments, anything to help. We were often at the practice twice a week. Unfortunately Missy became anaemic and there was no cure so we had to say goodbye to her in September last year. The staff were clearly upset too. During the 2 years that we were there, communication was always faultless whether it was a WhatsApp message, email or telephone call. There's nothing that I can fault and we will be back visiting soon with Princess Leia, our recent rescue. I really cannot recommend James Horner practice enough.

Having had a cat that has had problems for several years now and not been sorted out, I changed vets to here and have had such good care for my girlie with diagnostic tests explored and explained fully by the lovely committed vet Megan who spent time and effort trying to solve the issues my cat has and not just prescribing medications to mask the real cause for her discomfort and distress at times. I’m very happy and my cat is more relaxed here than she has ever been at a vets surgery before. She isn’t meowing on the way there in protest anymore and coming back hungry and happy after a consultation. Thank you Megan for being so attentive and caring. Much appreciated!!! An update is my cat has had further tests including a scan on her abdomen and X-rays which sadly have revealed a problem with her liver which unfortunately cannot be cured. I and my beautiful girlie have had support and compassion from the team including James. Very sad but thankful for a local vet that opens Saturday morning too as I had to go in for emergency medication. Would definitely recommend them.

We recently changed our vets to James Horner for our young cavapoo Blue. It was a big decision for us to make but we needed help. What a wonderful vets they are, all the team from front of house reception, nursing staff and vets were lovely. It was a real breath of fresh air. Holly, the vet that looked after us and Blue was exceptional, kind, caring,compassionate and professional at the same time. She put us at our ease and listened to our concerns and made a real effort to get to know Blue. A real independent vets with the personal touch that is so important. We highly recommend James and his team. It is the small touches and details too that set this veterinarian practice apart.

I have been with Medivet Solihull for many many years and am so well acquainted with the practice that the staff sadly know when its me on the phone. I have stayed with the practice for such a length of time due to the nurses / front of house staff who have remained the same over the years. Cassie the Vet Nurse is exceptional - she 100% gets the love we have for our pets. Everything she handles is done with the upmost professionalism and care. Fiona is also fantastic and is always very helpful & lovely. I have recently had 2 surgeries for my dogs at the practice and both times I felt confident that they were in the best hands. Thank you both! The new vets/partners, Eduardo & Dimitra are very much welcomed, it is great to have permanent vets on board and it makes the continuity of care and advise much easier to follow. I visited Medivet because I found a hedgehog in our garden that looked a little unwell. I took it there for some help, not knowing what to do. It turned out the hedgehog wasn’t unwell but maybe just a little too hot. They kept him in until I could collect and release him back into the wild. I think this is incredible in a world where no one does anything for free. I received updates about his health over the two days he was there. Given the amount of information and care provided, I would 100% use this vet if I had a pet. Thank you so much!

I’ve been coming to this practice for years. It’s now medivet and it’s still a great service. Alit if the vets and nurses know my dog and he’s always treated with care and kindness. They also listen to your needs and talk to you about all levels of treatment available.

Eduardo is absolutely amazing!!! We are now proud owners of a Preloved dog and we needed to get him registered quickly, the online system was quick and easy, they had an appointment available but we had to bring our children with us, he was patient and fantastic with our kids and our new dog. When we visited again because our dog needed an urgent appointment on the day they saw us incredibly quickly. Eduardo took his time explaining everything to us, answered all my questions easily and was again absolutely fantastic!! I left feeling a lot lighter, a lot more reassured, and more confident.

Have been using Scott Arms Vets for over 10 years now and have always found both the staff and vets professional and caring. They take excellent care of my 3 Pugs who are all adopted. I trust them explicitly and the vet is always caring and explains everything including future treatments and costs.

What a change. I took my two girls in today for their top up jabs. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Eles, the vet and Alice the other vet were a great team. And I must mention the help at the reception, it was how you want a Vets to be!

They saved my budgie's life! I can't say enough words how good and operative they all been! If not all the Manor staff I wouldn't have my budgie by now.. They all together did this amazing job! This place is absolutely 5 stars and more! Our bunny broke her jaw and our own vets could not do anything for her, someone was looking down on us when we got transferred to Manor Vets Edgbaston. Mikel her vet is an absolute genius and the kindest man we have ever met, he goes above and beyond to help and honestly we would not thank him enough! He always remained positive and nothing was too much trouble, she would not be here without him. The nurse Faye is the sweetest person, equally as compassionate and caring and helped not only with our bunny taking great care of her but made us feel so at ease, such a lovely person. The reception staff, well it’s safe to say we spent a lot of time with these ladies on our trip weekly visits for 3 months, they are kind, compassionate and just great people and we enjoyed there company! Our bunny is now all fixed because of these great people and she will be staying at this vets for any future treatment and her vaccinations, thank you guys, you really are the best x Highly highly highly recommend this vets!

Highly highly reccomend this practice for their exotic vet care for rodents from my experience. Receptionists are fantastic, very knowledgable and experienced vets, extremely transparent & offer all treatment options. My hamster unfortunately passed, and they treated me and her with such kindness even for a pet some people deem lesser, they laid her in a box ready for burial with a flower. I cannot thank this practice and their staff enough.

The vets at this centre are amazing highly recommend to take any animal there. We take our injured wildlife birds that comes into my brother rescue and they are amazing with them they decide if it’s best to be put to sleep or to come back into the rescue and live a happy life. They never put animal small or big to sleep if it’s not recommended. Best veterinary practice in Birmingham definitely worth going

Couldn’t recommend this vets enough. Always greeted with friendly staff who give a high quality of care to our dog whenever we visit. I always feel so at ease as I know our dog is in safe hands, she now loves going to the vets and all the attention she gets from all the staff!

We didn't go to the vets we went to the dog groomers next door called the dog house and they are brilliant you can drop the dog off or stay with it . does a great cut and love's all the dog's

Lovely staff and lots of excitement over our cat which was unexpected considering how much time they spend with domestic animals. Very happy with the service and they made our boy feel significantly less hissy than usual.

We had to take our 50kg boy to the team today as an emergency, losing blood and he was terrified. We can honestly say the whole team from start to finish were incredible, so patient with him and very informative. Happy to have such a great vet. Friendly and caring staff. It is obvious that everyone who works there loves animals. They vets are knowledgeable about greyhounds who have different blood levels to other dogs, which is fantastic for us! Recommend

I had my 2 cats neutered and microchip done here they were amazing with them both as they were abit stressed as was in the carriers and didn't like them and were so polite and friendly towards myself knowing I was worried about leaving them so helpful in after care advice even chatted with me about their needs for after as I dropped them off so I did go shopping to get what needed before picking them up I've had no problems with my cats after 100% definitely would recommend them to others and will keep my cats registered here

My dogs have been cared for by Pipe Hayes vets since I moved here in 2013 I was recommended by someone in the Breed who lives in Derby but has heard how good the practice is! It has met with my expectations. Stephen Pegg has been wonderful.

My puppy eat rat poison. I immediately called my Vet practice by Morrisons who refused to see him unless symptoms were occur. I was told to wait 1 or 2 hours and I would see any foam coming out from his mouth, vomiting or diarrhea they would then take him as emergency. I listen to my instincts to go to Vets for Pets in Sheldon. Everyone was very friendly, took my puppy for detoxing treatment, after 1 hour they informed me that they could see a lot of poison pellets in his vomit and that I did the right thing of coming in straight away . Thank you for saving my puppy life

Absolutely lovely vets and the cost is more than reasonable. I spent many days looking for a vet that could neuter my dog but within my budget. I strongly recommend these vets, they are friendly, helpful and the after care is 5*.

These guys really care about the animals they are dealing with. Took my Harley to be neutered. Very friendly. Very helpful. And they gave me all the advice needed for aftercare
