We had a problem the car broke down on Oldham road the m62 had been closed and the traffic was terrible. We had to stop on the main road and I phoned the most kind hearted pick up van Nad and he toed us to the garage MPG garage Oldham we were on our way to collect our daughter from Manchester airport she was not well with chest infection and we were basically stuck ! Nad towed us to the MPG garage and they took the car and fixed it within 2 hours they were so helpful friendly and skilful . They worked so hard to get us on the road quickly it’s nearly Christmas Day and we were so very grateful . This garage is highly recommended I would say 10/10 service 10/10 skill 10/10 efficient. Negative points - I called MPG at 9am to inquire about a repair, but experienced repeated disconnections. I decided to visit in person, where I was greeted warmly and was informed what day to bring in my car. However, upon my arrival to drop off the car, I encountered a rather uninviting environment and had to wait several minutes without any acknowledgment from the workers. Eventually, a worker asked why I was there, I explained and was expecting a response like they were just opening up, and would be with me shortly. However, that did not occur. Instead, all the workers entered the building and left me standing there, not knowing what was happening. At that point, I was thinking of getting back into my car and taking it to a different garage, but something told me to give this garage a chance, and that's what I did. When the shutters to the garage opened, another worker asked why I was there. And directed me to the office, where I explained the problem, gave in the keys and my contact details. I inquired whether my car would be ready the same day and was told it would be. Positive points - I was expecting a call at around 4 or 5 PM. But, to my surprise, I received a call within 2 hours from MPG, informing me that my car was ready for pickup. I asked about the cost of the repair work and was told it. When I arrived at MPG, the mechanic explained the work completed, and I paid him. But, again to my surprise, the mechanic, whose name is Anzy, decided to charge me less than the quoted price. Anzy was friendly and honest, and did an excellent job. Overall, I would consider using MPG again, but I would plan to get there 20–30 minutes after they have opened. As I noticed that, arriving or calling a few minutes just after 9am, shows they are still in the midst of opening up and preparing for the day ahead.

Extremely kind hearted people! Helped me and my partner out last minute due to a failed mot at another garage, couldn't of done more for us! We are from Wales so were a long way from home, with no hope of getting home! Very efficient, and very trustworthy! Thank you again!
