Honest and genuine service. I took my car in repeatedly for something I stupidly thought was an issue (which wasn't) and lucked out taking it here. Whilst many places would have either taken advantage and invented work, or charged through the nose for even looking at it, the gent here didn't even want to bill me for his time and patience. Gladly took it back for a real problem later on and got it sorted out quickly, at a good price. Wouldn't ever consider going anywhere else in future. Excellent service, really nice guys. 10/10

I started using this garage about a year ago and it is the best I’ve ever used. They are 100% honest and they don’t charge ridiculous prices. I will never use any other garage. This is the one to use if you want experience, honesty and to be charged fairly. The guys who work here are truly lovely people.

I had an issue with my car in highlane the night before I came here. These guys looked at it the next day for me and got it in as soon as they could as they to fix my issue. Also had my MOT. I felt really taken care of here and they explained everything to me too as I don’t know a lot about cars! Really fair and professional. I will be coming back here for my service in the new year. I was super impressed with the service I received from Jermaine today. I'm visiting my sister in Manchester from London. 2 days before we were due to go away, my car developed a number of issues. I called Jermaine after calling round several mobile mechanics and he he gave me the best quote. Then the very next morning he came out and fixed my car just in time for me to go away the next day. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent. Jermaine could have really taken advantage of the fact that I was in a rush and desperate for my car to be fixed ASAP but he didn't. This guy is the most genuine, salt of the earth mechanic I've come across. He came out to see me and did a thorough check of my vehicle, went through the stuff he spotted and options for repair. He has been very transparent about prices and time it would take to complete the job. He has communicated with me during the week about parts and confirming the day and time he would arrive which made it easy for me to plan my week. Today the job has been done, no dramas at all and with the job now done, I've had my car out for a few hours running around with zero issues and I have no hesitation at all in recommending JDM. My car services going forward will be with him instead of Halfords. He has really helped me out of a hole and am very grateful.🚘👍

Jermaine did a great job for me (replace drop links and windscreen washer motor). It ended up not being as straight forward as expected but he sorted it no problem. Fair price and got the job completed less than 24hrs after contacting him. Definitely recommend 👍

I turned up at Hills with a dodgy exhaust without prior arrangement. They put it straight on the lift, diagnosed the problem and gave me a price within 20 minutes. Ready for collection the next working day and cheaper than quoted. It doesn't get much better than that. Great people and professional job. My new go to garage. Cheers.

Really wanted to leave a review for Paul & the lovely guys at Hills Auto Centre to say thank you for their help & honesty in diagnosing the faults with my car last week. Unfortunately my car was not worth repairing & Paul actually recommended to scrap the car instead even though this meant him losing the work. Not many garages would be so honest, especially to a woman. Although not the scenario I was hoping for I’m really grateful for such transparent advice & will certainly be using Hills going forward when I have a new vehicle, a brilliant garage & team!

I went to Hills for my MOT a couple of months ago, the guys there are so lovely and it was such a great price too. I’ve recently gone back to get my brake pads changed and Paul was so helpful and kept me up to date every step of the way, even letting me know the price before he did the work. Honestly, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to sort my car out. Like I said, the guys there are brilliant and I can’t recommend them enough!

I'll add my positive to the many other positive comments :-) Had my car taken on low-loader & dropped off at Marple Motor Co on Thursday AM after it dumped all it's fluids on the road. Pete said "we're really busy & stacked out for ages, so I can't promise anything" - completely understandable as it was a surprise (to him and me). Bottom line: Late Thursday phoned to say they'd checked and ordered the part. Late Friday said the part was in and may get it fitted soon. Saturday picked car up all done. Brilliant, mega pleased (as always). Will continue using you forever.

Great service here, parents went for decades before me, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Travel from out of town just to go here, really know what they are doing, professional and reasonably priced.

Very friendly staff. Held car for me with a small deposit so I could arrange transport to them. Car was cleaned and oil etc checked for me as they knew I was heading straight back to western Scotland. Very pleased with car and service received

Fantastic garage. Clutch went on my VW Passat, and they organised a tow company and replaced clutch unit quickly. I was impressed by their communication, always keeping me posted before and after the fix, and the car was left exceptionally clean with seat covers and steering wheel covers too. Highly recommended!

I've been coming here for years. Fantastic service at a reasonable price. Wouldn't go anywhere else unless they advise a specialist job and recommend a place to go. Dog friendly in the reception, dogs get treats, they love it.

I’ve been to a few places before for a mot but nothing quite compares to Alldis mot and Matt. It was my first time going there and I’m abit last minute but Matt found a way to fit me in and accommodate me during this busy period! If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be able to drive to see my family for the Christmas period so thank you so much. They diagnosed my car’s issue quickly and explained everything before starting the repairs. The service was completed on time, and my car is running perfectly now. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Cannot fault this garage. They will always test and try the least costly option first. I needed a new alternator in the end and despite a few supplier issues and having already closed for Christmas the mechanic made sure I wasn't without a car for Christmas. They went over and above and I wouldn't hesitate recommending this garage. The car charger voltage meter was also a great recommendation. I now know the battery is fully charged at all times!
