I follow and enjoy the YT channel, and was super impressed with Sam & the team’s knowledge, professionalism and lack of BS. I’m lucky enough now to have my SL500 on the books, and on the first visit they’ve already solved an issue my local MB specialist couldn’t figure out. Also - saved me a small fortune with the ABC ball joint replacement. I get the impression that they are honest, trustworthy and enthusiastic, with a deep well of knowledge and experience in modern and modern classic MBs. My car is in the best hands now to ensure it lasts as long as it can - I’ll be happily bringing it in for regular servicing, preventative maintenance and “whilst you’re in there” jobs, despite the distance from me - thanks Sam!

Mercedes are complex luxury cars, and as such they need a high level of knowledge and understanding to truly maintain them and repair them properly. Which is why you need Sam and the team at SPR - they are truly wizards at Mercedes maintenance. You can 100% trust they'll never suggest something that doesn't need doing. The attention to detail is high and they'll often complete little 'while you're in there' jobs that will ensure you're not back again a few weeks later with something else that could have easily been avoided (but of course they will ask you first if you want it to be done). The parts they use are of the highest quality (either Mercedes OEM or as-good-as). And given all this, the prices are reasonable.

A great service is given by Sam and his team at SPR autos. My classic Mercedes was evaluated for work, a detailed estimate quoted and when the repairs took place Sam was fair and honest with some extra bits that were needed. We initially took our C Class 350 Cdi to SPR to get a diagnosis on a fault, that none of our local mechanics could seem to pin point, after close and detailed inspection on the ramp, Sam identified the issue as engine and gearbox mounts. We arranged an appointment for a later date as we needed the vehicle due to our personal commitments. We requested that the A1 service was carried out at the same time, we travelled to SPR from Stoke, we were greeted on the day by Paula and Sam at reception, the whole place and the people are very presentable, polite, humorous and professional. We were given an amazing little courtesy car for the day (Pictured), later on in the day, we received a telephone call to say that our car was ready for collection. On entering the reception, we were greeted with the faulty parts that had been replaced, to prove what was wrong initially, 100% transparency is what we like, we paid our bill, which was very competitively priced, despite the works carried out. On starting up the car, it was almost silent once more, just like when we bought it 7 years ago, handling also greatly improved too, confidence restored.
