I had very good experience here on a Saturday morning. Both of my headlights went off the night before. And this garage was the only one available in the area to replace the bulbs. Even though they didn't have them in stock, they ordered the bulbs to be delivered as soon as possible and the whole hob was done in less than an hour.

Spoke to the owner at 8am - chatted for 20 minutes - he asked detailed questions and offered his advice. His advice cost him money but he was completely upfront: take the second hand car that I had just purchased, straight back to the dealer and get a refund. No messing about. He put my rights to return the car ahead of his option to make some money off me. (Possibly a lot of money, if the problem was as big as he warned me of.) He said he'd happily look at the car, trying to find the cause of the fault, but that I would be far better off just returning the car. All of that time and expertise, for nothing. I came here because countless friends have raved about how this is the only garage they trust implicitly. Now I know why. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this garage.

We contacted this garage last minute as we had a problem with our gears. They were amazing and helped us out straight away, including coming to pick up the car as I couldn’t get it out with only the 3rd and 4th gear working. They diagnosed and fixed the problem super quickly for us and we ended up also getting a service done as we had a few recommended things outstanding from our previous MOT. The work was great and the car was also the cleanest I have ever seen it when it came back, which was a nice extra surprise. They’re really communicative and helpful and would highly recommend.

I've been Robert's customer since he first started, long before he opened at his Barking site. In that time, my wife and I have owned a variety of cars, Robert has taken excellent care of all of them - from my £500 Wentworth to the more modern and sophisticated cars we drive now. He's always done exemplary work on them - no request too quirky, no job too big or small. He's consistently happy to chat and discuss any request we may have. No query too much trouble or outlandish - always beautifully and cheerfully executed. Prices are always very fair (sometimes I think too fair) - work is always excellently done, carefully explained, knowledgeable and timely. Since moving to the new premises bang next door to an MOT station, Robert is able to offer the perfect one-stop service. I can't recommend him highly enough - he's a true exception in the world of mechanics.

Unfortunately, my cambelt went on my van and destroyed my engine and sat with 3 different mechanics for 6 months and had the worst experience with communication. But RM AUTO CENTRE LTD was highly recommended to me and upon arrival, I had good responsive communication. Initially I was waiting on an engine but being experienced and talented he went one step further and rebuilt my engine. Not only saving me money but also a very good experience all round with nice friendly people, I would highly recommend RM AUTO CENTRE LTD.
