Excellent customer service from Dalton Roofing, especially Ruby, who took my enquiry, and Phil, who came out. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with another company. I paid them £100 for a roof inspection, and they quoted me hundreds of pounds for repairs that they deemed necessary, to put the roof in good order. The quote was rather vague, and I felt that it was leading to them finding more problems, and therefore charging me much more, if I agreed to them completing the work. I contacted Dalton Roofing, and explained my problem. My insurance company were insisting on a report, and work done, if it was deemed necessary, or my insurance would be invalid. This had to be by a reputable company who are part of a confederation. Thankfully my neighbour suggested contacting Dalton Roofing, which I did. Ruby was helpful on the phone, and arranged for Phil to visit the house today. He was very helpful, professional, and friendly. His inspection resulted in me being told that the roof is in good order, with no faults or problems, and will last for many years. Phil has restored my faith in decent, honest, and reliable companies, who are keen to maintain an excellent reputation. I will use Dalton Roofing if I need any work carried out in the future, and will be happy to recommend them to family and friends. Thanks Phil, I can sleep a lot better tonight.

Very impressed with Dalton Roofing. We had a number of leaks on an old roof and two other companies had tried to fix them without success. We contacted Dalton who came out very quickly to assess the issues. Phil explained the problems and gave me options to consider. He sent me a detailed quote on the same day which I accepted and the work was completed exactly on schedule. During the job, I spoke to Jake who was doing the work. He was great; he answered all my questions, explained what he had done in detail and gave me real confidence that he had understood and fixed the problems. Communication from Ruby at their office was also great. Overall, Dalton have been excellent and I'd recommend them without reservation.

I have just had Dalton Roofing re-point my chimney stack including replacing 4 broken roof tiles. They did a neat job of repointing etc to a very high standard, cleaned my gutters afterwards and swept my path and back yard. The roofers were very professional and decent lads who respected my property. As agreed by Dalton Roofing and myself, they roofers took before and after close up photos of the chimney stack. The admin team always kept me updated by email. I know this day and age finding a trustworthy roofer can be very difficult at times which is why I fell lucky finding Dalton Roofing. Prior to finding Dalton Roofing I had been messed about by a few roofing companies who were a bunch of greedy time wasters. Dalton are reasonably priced and work to a very high standard. I am very happy and feel rest assured that my chimney stack is structurally safe. Thank you Dalton Roofing.

Absolutely brilliant service 5 star!!!!! I had a new door fitted from Safestyle last year, they have now gone bust - no wonder! I had to have Safestyle back to the door 5 times, still did not resolve the issue, kept getting locked in or out of my property, they then sent another locksmith in from a agency, he said he had resolved to situation, but no, continued to get either locked in or locked out of my property and this has happened 5 times in the last week, the locking mechanism was not working, then all of a sudden it would release. Ken and his son Kenny came out to me today at short notice, spent ages on the door and frame, taking hinges off, adjusting everything and pointed out it had never been fitted into the frame correctly in the first place! The door was leaning to the left in the frame, Kenny adjusted absolutely everything, Kenny and his dad Ken are absolutely brilliant, can’t thank them enough and are really reasonable on what they charge! I can wholeheartedly recommend them, they went over and above resolving my issue, thank you 🙏👏❤️

Had this father and son team out today as my back door lock had twisted round, and therefore I couldn't remove the key. Out in 20mins as promised, and quickly and efficiently changed the cylinder (and showed me what had caused the problem). Also, made an adjustment to the door as it was catching slightly when opening and closing. I never mentioned this, or asked them to look at it, they just made the adjustment because, for them, it was a simple thing to do whilst they were there. Fairly priced. Highly recommend.

I called Kenny and he came out within the hour of speaking with him. My back door wasn't connecting to the frame properly, therefore it was causing an extreme draught, you could clearly see the gap between the door and frame. Kenny sorted the problem. I would highly recommend and definitely use again. Excellent service at a brilliant price.

Lords have been fantastic once again. I called with a minor tile problem which was causing a leak and Liam managed to fit me in the next day due to a cancellation being in the local area. The job was done in quick time and we’re really happy with the outcome and professionalism of lords once again. They’ve been to our house a couple times now over the years and same for my parents. They’ve never disappointed and we’ve always been left with the same feedback. Lord’s is a really nice, friendly company and really are out to help you as much as possible. Working with Liam and the Lords team was so easy and pleasant, I wish I'd have gone straight to them in the first place rather than getting booked in, delayed and generally run around by other roofers! Liam was easy to communicate with, super responsive and up front about the work, costs and timings. Everything was scheduled in and communicated well by Laura. Any questions I had, they were quick to answer. When it came to the actual work, the team of roofers were fast, respectful and friendly. Led by Alex who was the nicest guy, funny and hard working, the team would arrive around 8ish and made sure they cleaned up at the end of every day to the point where it was actually cleaner than when they arrived! The got on so well with the neighbours, even entertaining the toddler next door who watched them from the window! The work was all completed faster than expected (mostly due to them bringing in extra guys who all worked well together) and to a good standard, the house and garage roofs now look perfect. Both Alex and Liam assured me that they guarantee their work and if there are any issues in the future they wouldn't hesitate to come round and sort anything out. Overall I couldn't have hoped for a better experience from Lords, thank you!

Couldn’t recommend Lords Roofing & Sons enough. We had complications along the way as structural engineering drawings were missing calculations for beams needed. Thanks to Liam and his lads for spotting this, as this would have been a very costly mistake. We are very happy with how the extension hipped roof looks. Liam and his lads have given us loads of tips and advice as this is going to be a self build / renovation project.

Just wanted to say on behalf of my Mum how pleased we all are of the work Angus has just done for her. His work is outstanding and he is so clean and tidy my Mum is so pleased. He has just fitted a new shower tray and screen and a new shower 🚿 and shower boarding. We are so pleased as he has made it fit in with the other bathroom so well and he got rid of all the rubbish. He has done a fantastic job and is so polite and even did a few other jobs Mum had asked him to do. We would really recommend Angus it is amazing and Mum is so pleased with the new shower and tray!!!!!! Thank you Angus 😊 💓.

Michael came to survey our new roof extension and immediately advised us not to follow our architects drawings, which had a design showing a deep valley gutter next to the main house and would have meant that all the rain water from the new roof would have flowed towards the house. He redesigned our new roof so all the rain water would flow away from the house. After we informed him that we had lost our builder, Michael took full responsibility of everything and went on to carry out an incredible job at a very reasonable price. We are absolutely over the moon with his and his team’s friendly and professional attitude. The roof on the extension also has 2 x 3.5 mt glass lanterns which Michael built the timber frameworks for and at a last minute change by us, he also added a front and rear overhang. Needless to say the completed the work, it looks fantastic and is 100% fit for purpose. Michael has been learning his trade for many years and his experience shows. I’m not the type of person to write a review about anything or anyone. But 3 months after he finished the job, I’m still smiling. If you want a new roof of any description or design, you need to take my advice and call Elite Roofing and let Michael come and take a look. AMAZING !!! 😃😃😃😃

Used Elite to install a rubber roof on our extension / orangery. From the moment I first spoke with Michael he was knowledgeable and gave good advice on the project as a whole. The work itself has been completed to a high standard. Nothing was too much trouble and despite the weather being against us Michael & Craig stayed late and worked hard to complete the job in time and on budget. Moved into a new home last autumn, the boiler was functioning as the house was red hot only problem was I struggled to get enough hot water for a bath - I love me baths. Anyways like most folks when you move its a little expensive and you have to prioritise. I thought I'd get the boiler checked out, so looked for a local plumber found a couple of businesses who offered a couple of solutions. Turns out the boiler was over 15 years old, I wasn't planning on replacing the boiler but Direct Plumbings proposal ticked all the necessary boxes, decent brand of boiler, fantastic price and they could fit me in within a couple of weeks, the cost enabled me to bolt on the Nest upgrade. Decided to commit, Daniel and Josh completed the job without any fuss, tool 1/2 day and I haven't regretted the decision. Direct Plumbing also provide trade-in services, so I got a bit of money back by recycling the old boiler. Which to be fair saved me getting rid of the old unit. Thoroughly recommend Direct Plumbing. Great local business. Oh the Nest Thermostat is mint - control heating remotely, saving loads off my bill.

Dannie and his team were swift, professional and friendly. We were in a real sticky position, no water or heating and the team responded the next morning to diagnose the problem so parts and equipment could be ordered. Within 2 days the new combi was fitted and we were up and running. Great company.

We had our new bathroom fitted by direct plumbing and I can only describe them as hard working, knowledgeable and meticulous. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always on hand with advice when needed. They were very professional, honest and we as family felt very comfortable while they were working in our home. Lucky and Son fitted a 17ft (5m by 3m) by 10ft metal garage which required bolting to the ground. Also, the garage assembly required 100s of screws to be fitted. They provided a professional quality service, fitting the garage exceptionally, preceded by a quick prompt honest transparent quote. All this was carried out with humility and character. What can I say but absolutely fantastic service. We had an issue with the gear box breaking on our upvc door. We took all the mechanism to the leabrooks store. The lady couldn't have been more helpful. She replaced the old gear box and realined the top locking hook. Excellent customer service would highly recommend.

Wow tried to repair the Door Gearbox what a nightmare it fell apart went to the Leabrooks Shop at 16.15 in a panic could not lock the back door. The young lady fitted a new gear box supplied two new Handles. This is what you call excellent 5 star service . all back together door locks Thank you so much

Called Iain from LockFit following my wife locking her and our children out of the house. Iain was at our house inside 10 minutes! He investigated all access points and got us back inside very quickly - had some very impressive trade tools and was thoroughly professional throughout. He gave some great advice and I will be arranging for him to come back soon to update our locks. Would certainly recommend! Very reasonably priced, very quick service (especially as this was an emergency).
