Recently had the funeral of my late mother and were directed to Touch of Charm florists to arrange the flowers. We would initially like to say a big thank you to Jayne who was very helpful and caring at this very difficult time, she couldn't do enough for us. We had a very personalised service and as my mum loved line dancing, Jayne and the team arranged the flowers in my mums cowboy boots, which more than added to the occasion and complimented her cowboy hat which was dressed with a few small flowers and placed on top of the coffin. To say we were more than happy with flowers is an understatement, they were absolutely beautiful. We would highly recommend Touch of Charm florists for any occasion. Richard & Marney Parkin

I cannot recommend Touch of Charm Venue Styling and Florist highly enough! From the first email they made me feel so welcome and worked closely with me to bring my vision to life. I shared my favorite flowers and the color scheme we had in mind for our wedding, and they went above and beyond to create flowers that were absolutely incredible. They provided us with loose stems, which we set up ourselves in bud vases for the tables. This added such a charming, personal touch to our reception. But the real highlight was my bridal bouquet. It was everything I’d dreamed of and more – honestly, it was so beautiful it brought me to tears when I saw it. The bridesmaid bouquets were equally stunning, the men’s buttonholes stayed fresh and perfect all day, and the wrist corsages were just lovely. Touch of Charm's attention to detail and thoughtfulness were evident in every single piece. To top it off, they even delivered all of the flowers free of charge on the morning of our wedding, taking one more task off our plate on such a busy day. I cannot thank them enough for making our day so beautiful – they truly went above and beyond! Thank you so much!💓

5 star service from start to finish. All the girls at touch of charm are amazing! They did the decor & flowers for my wedding last month. I remember the initial meeting and feeling so over whelmed before going in about everything for the wedding. They were so lovely & have so much knowledge to pass on & help you make the right decisions for your wedding. I felt a weight had been lifted once we booked with them. Jayne who sorted my flowers is just amazing! She has a wicked sense of humour & is so easy to get along with. She also knows her stuff when it comes to flowers. Everything on the day went smoothly with the set up & delivery of flowers. The venue looked stunning!! I wouldn’t have changed a thing! We had so many compliments about the decor & flowers. Our daughter got married in June 2024 and we were very fortunate to have been recommended Jess by Kate from our marquee company (Special Event Tipis and Marquees). We had got quite far along the DIY planning route when I realised as MOB that I wanted to be able to enjoy the wedding day and the build up to it without being overwhelmed with everything. My husband was quite sceptical at first about why we needed a coordinator as we had everything booked. This was mainly because he hadn't quite grasped what was involved, but after meeting Jess he was onboard 110% and he, like the rest of us, thinks she is fantastic and money well spent. We engaged Jess for her 'on the day management' but this is truly much, much more than just 'on the day' management and is an absolute MUST if you are having a marquee wedding. She is an experienced professional who has a very calm approach to everything. She stepped in 6 weeks before the wedding and from then on we knew we were in safe hands. She gave us much needed advice on a whole host of things and made everything run smoothly. She expertly coordinated with all our suppliers - of which there were many and all of whom were brilliant! She and her team (hello & thank you to the other Jesses) came the day before the wedding and set up the marquee. We went along to give a hand, but she had everything covered. She even had a kettle & made us all a cuppa! They came to the church rehearsal and then went back to the marquee to continue with the set up which enabled me able to spend time with my daughter and our family and friends, stress free, the night before the wedding, which is something which I would not have been able to do without her being onboard. Unfortunately, the weather on the day wasn't great . After glorious sunshine the day before, in true Lake District style, it rained on the day. We were so confident and comfortable with Jess's advice that we trusted her to her to make the last minute decision if the drinks reception would be inside or outside. She, together with Fran from Holker Hall, managed this beautifully and our guests have said that they were quite pleased it rained as it enabled them to have a look around the beautiful Holker Hall. Jess and her team were very professional and at the same time warm and friendly and it genuinely comes across how much they love their work. We had the most fantastic & fun wedding party and all our guests have said that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. I do believe we had the dream team of suppliers. Thank you so much Jess, it wouldn't have happened without you.

As a very indecisive and unorganised couple, we needed help so put our trust in Jess. Choosing Jess as our wedding planner was the best decision we ever made and enabled us to have the wedding of our dreams! Jess is so professional, organised and knowledgeable in every single department and we are so glad we hired Jess so early on in the planning. Jess has a wealth of amazing contacts and was always available to support us through the process. She is extremely hands on and provided a service that was worth every penny. Her and her team were phenomenal on the day and made sure everything went perfectly - she is also just a lovely person to spend time with whilst organising our big day! My husband and I got married in July 2024, and utilised Jess’ on the day wedding coordination package - but what her and her team give you is so so much more than that! We booked a venue which required lots of different suppliers (separate caterer, bar company, linen hire, port-a-loos etc….) and in the run up to it I said to my husband that I really wanted someone I could hand everything over to in advance so I could enjoy the run up and not be worrying about coordinating everything! Luckily, I’d met Jess at an event before we were even engaged and so she was the first person I went to for this help. And I am SO glad we did! She goes above and beyond for you to make sure your day is special and runs smoothly. I’ll never forget that I’d planned to tie the tags onto our favours the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids, only to turn up and for them to have already been done by Jess and her team without even needing to have asked. We had drinks “tokens” to hand out to our evening guests and I went to ask Jess for these in the evening to hand them out, again to find that they’d taken care of it already. They were one step ahead always on the little details, and knowing there was someone we could go to on the day if needed (rather than people coming to me or the wedding party) was truly invaluable. After our wedding I asked my partner what’s the one “non negotiable” you’d recommend to other couples planning a wedding like ours and we both agreed that it would be Jess and her team. I know my sister is also recommending her to friends who are getting married soon too as she was equally impressed by her! If you're wondering "do I really need a wedding planner?" the answer is no - you don't need just a wedding planner, YOU NEED JESS! The easiest ever 5 stars. Jess was phenomenal - you will not find a safer pair of hands for the biggest day of your life! BEFORE WEDDING DAY We thought we could do it all but we were so SO wrong. 16mths before our big day we realised that wedding planning is someone's profession for a REASON & opted to find an 'on the day' planner since most of our vendors were already booked. My biggest regret is not getting Jess on board from the outset! We spoke with a number of wedding planners & at the end of back-to-back initial meetings, we didn't even need to discuss who the best fit was - it was obviously Jess. Jess was, of course, kind & congratulatory & immediately easy to get on with, but she was also focused & able to demonstrate her ability to deliver our dream day from the very first moments of meeting her. We knew that she would have everything in hand! Jess was our go to whenever we had a wobble or a question or needed to soundboard something. Nothing was too much & she always responded quickly & with results! She put us at ease every step of the way. The thing with wedding planning is that you don't know what you don't know, & that is where Jess is essential. She won't just people please - she'll give you honest advice/opinions to ensure your day runs smoothly & in line with your vision, & she will quickly identify any issues or gaps & will have solutions before you can even ask! ON THE DAY Knowing Jess was going to be there put us at ease in the lead up. On the day we both said that booking Jess was the best decision we made on MULTIPLE occasions! Nothing was an issue, she had everything under control, & had solutions to any issues without us even knowing there'd been an issue. There was literally not one thing we had to worry about on the day. Ultimately, Jess was both a friendly face on the day putting us at ease & also the most proficient organiser I've ever seen. She took command, made sure everything/everyone was where they needed to be, & did so in the kindest & most professional way without so much as breaking a sweat. She makes EVERYTHING look effortless! By the end of the day, we were devastated that she was leaving after having delivered our dream wedding day which, due to her sheer effort & skill, far exceeded our expectations & frankly blew us out the water. TIPS 1 - Don't book any old wedding planner, BOOK JESS! And do it sooner than later - don't be me, you can't do it all! 2 - If you're having a multi-day wedding, particularly with a pre-party, book Jess! We didn't & when it came to bite me in the backside she was there at the drop of a hat & sorted EVERYTHING out. Massive regret not just booking her from the outset! 3 - Communicate! Jess is incredible but she's not a mind reader, & she got to know us so well so that she could deliver the exact right aesthetic & atmosphere on the day. 4 - Trust Jess implicitly. There is a reason this is her profession. She delivers flawless weddings week in, week out. If you hand over the reins, you will NOT be disappointed! OVERALL Jess is one of the most organised people you will ever meet & you'll rarely have a question that she hasn't already thought of & answered - she goes above & beyond! She is also so incredibly kind & we like to think over the past couple of years has become a real friend, something we are so grateful for. Our day was flawless & it was entirely down to Jess. Booking Jessica Sharpe Weddings was one of our best decisions & if you are lucky enough to book her I know it will be yours too! TO JESS There are no words to actually express our gratitude. You are truly the best in the business & delivered a day that we will never ever forget & we know it would not have been possible without you. Had a lovely luxury pedicure here this week. Nice treat for me and my mum, we could have our treatments together at the same time which was nice. Jayde and Camilla were very friendly and both gave us a fantastic pedicure with callus peel. We will definitely be coming back thank you so much our feet feel lovely!

What can I say? Delighted to have found this goldmine. Tastefully decorated which is so welcoming. I was greeted by Kirsti, my therapist today. She was so warm and friendly, I was immediately put at ease. I have had a full leg wax many times in the past, but never this thorough. And the after wax cream application was amazing. I really can not recommend this salon highly enough to anyone who values excellent service at favourable prices. I shall be booking more appointments for other treatments in the very near future. Thank you Kirsti for a relaxing experience.

My husband and I have both had appointments at Brampton Beauty Retreat in the last few days. I had a gel polish manicure with Jayde and I love how my nails look. Jayde was so gentle and I was really impressed that no electric tools were used throughout the whole process - a completely different experience to what I’ve been used to in other places, where I’ve been caused actual pain and really not enjoyed it. Today my husband had a neck, back and shoulder massage with Kirsti and he is absolutely floating on air - he loved it and hasn’t stopped talking about it! He is so relaxed from Kirsti’s ‘magic hands’ that he’s had to go and have a bit of a snooze. The salon is spotlessly clean, comfortable and a really relaxing space. And the therapists are so friendly and welcoming. An absolutely fantastic find and we both can’t wait to go again!

I was given a gift voucher for Mothers Day, unfortunately due to lockdown I only used it this week but well worth the wait 🤩. Manicure and polish have made my nails look fantastic. Also had a facial which was relaxing and felt so good I have booked a course of 10. It was my first visit to Kirsti at Brampton Beauty Retreat definitely not my last, despite having to drive 40 mins to get there. Salon felt very clean and COVID-19 safe.

Been a customer of Nick's longer than either of us would like to think about 😉 Every haircut is fantastic and holds it's shape until the next cut. Sometimes the fringe will need a trim in-between cuts but you are welcome to call for a few minutes appointment and have that done. Salon atmosphere is lovely and I wouldn't go anywhere else 😃

I've been using Harleys for about 6 or 7 months now, and I've been so impressed! All of the staff are so welcoming and helpful, and the stylists are true experts in their field. I use Phil, who really is a top class hairdresser. Always consistent and high quality. His results for ladies hair also looks superb from what I have seen. But I would feel confident using any of the other stylists if necessary. Very, very happy.

Never had a disappointing cut, colour, up do or hair extensions. I love their work so much I had them to do the hair at my wedding. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The atmosphere in the salon is lovely and very welcoming. I'm always offered a cuppa or a glass of wine on arrival. I've had my hair done by pretty much everyone who works there and they are all fantastic at what they do. Thanks for always making me feel a million dollars every time I walk out of your door ❤️

I’ve been coming to this lovely little salon for over a year now, Luke is incredible! He got my hair from box dye black to pink in a few sessions without killing my hair, Luke also did my wedding hair for me, the curls and clip in hair extensions stopped in the whole day 8am till 2am the next day! the price point is great and all of the staff are so friendly, I wouldn’t go anywhere else to have my hair done. They really do look after you and make you feel so welcome! Thank you so much to Luke and the gang you’re all incredible!

After having a really bad experience at another hair dressers which left me dreading having my hair done else where. I went to Hayley who listened to what had happened to me. We talked through what she was going to do which settled my nerves and she gave me the most beautiful cut and colour I have ever had. 10 years on I still go to Hayley every 6 weeks as I will not let anyone else touch my hair. Fabulous person with excellent skills.

I was lucky enough to be a model for trial of a new product a few weeks back. Due to the lovely salon and people there I decided to return instead of reaching for the box dye. Hayley, coloured, washed, cut and styled my hair exactly how I wanted. Although Hayley was busy with other clients at the same time her time management was perfect. No complaints here. I hadn't had my hair cut in years (5+ years ago) so I was skeptical about booking in. However, I have just come out of my appointment and I absolutely love my new hair style! I showed Hayley pictures of the style I was going for and she's done exactly that. My hair looks so healthy and bouncy now. I was unsure how much to cut off my fringe so she said if I want anymore off just to message her and she'd be happy to go over it again, which is so kind! It was also at a really good price for what I got. Really happy with my hair and I will be coming back in the future!

just been for my first haircut here and couldn't have asked for a better experience. (I have adhd/autism and hairdressers are a hard place for me) but I felt really at ease which is all I really want (and a nice haircut) Loren was great and felt really genuine, my hair looks amazing and fresh and it's just nice to have found this place now. As a wedding videographer, I wish every wedding I captured had a Victoria! Having someone like Victoria to go to with questions and check ins made the day run so much smoother than I’m used to! Victoria is the kind of person that is so on it as well and thinks of every little detail but is so creative and flexible in how she works to help and assist with whatever you need throughout the day. Not just for the couple but for the suppliers too! I would urge people to hire her and highly recommend Victoria as the lovely person she is and for the great services she offers!

From our very first meeting we knew that Tor was the person to plan our wedding with us. She had the best personality, was easy to get on with and she was obviously very knowledgeable in her field which filled us both with confidence. Myself and Dave are very busy people, and got especially busy as we were planning our wedding. Tor was there day and night, no matter what time I messaged her with a query or idea she was on the ball so fast. Tor also recommended the best suppliers. One of them being Gemma from Rock and Wreath, our flowers were absolutely unreal and I felt confident giving Gemma complete freedom and creative license with her designs. I had an idea of maybe having a live sketch artist but after searching and searching I couldn’t find the right person. Tor absolutely pulled it out the bag and found the amazing little Beth Illustrations. We would have never had such special wedding favors if it wasn’t for Tor finding Beth. Tor also found the beautiful Bethan Steers for my hair, and the amazing Beth Kennet for our wedding videography! These two women were an absolute joy of energy to have around on the day, but every single person involved was. So I’m so grateful to Tor for finding all of these wonderful suppliers because they were truly out of this world, every single one of them. On the day of the wedding Tor was never not by my side, anything I needed she was there 100 percent and really had my back no matter how big or small, from making sure I had coffee when I was tired, to emergency steaming my wedding dress. We hired Victoria for the wedding day management for our wedding, and I can't say enough positive words. Even from the start during our intro call, to coordinating with vendors, to the final day wedding celebration, she exceeded our expectations. I was hesitant to hire someone for the day of coordination because I am a planner myself, but Victoria checked every box and she allowed me to unplug and really enjoy the day with my family and friends. Highly recommend her because of her organization skills, professionalism, and how pleasant she was to work with!

We hired Tor to help with our wedding in July and really cannot thank or recommend her enough. Our wedding was held at our family farm, and whilst this seemed like a great idea, we also had so many possibilities of things going wrong on the day. As soon as we had Tor’s input into the wedding, she gave us every bit of confidence that the day would run as beautifully as it did. From the week leading up to the wedding, all of our suppliers couldn’t believe how relaxed I was and this was definitely thanks to Tor. Tor was there at all hours to answer any questions, help me make decisions, and make suggestions that I definitely wouldn’t have thought of (without being annoying ha!). On the day of the wedding I was able to have such a lovely morning with the bridal party, and throughout the day knew everything was being taken care of which resulted in being able to actually enjoy our wedding day without any stress (which a lot of couples don’t get to do). Tor is such a lovely person and so easy to get on with, even if it wasn’t wedding chat we would still have a laugh.. we had so many comments from guests about how incredible our wedding was, how smooth the day went, and how fab Tor was behind the scenes. We have said from the start, hiring Tor was the best decision we made…we are also convinced she could plan a wedding on Mount Everest and it run smoothly. Tor we thank you so much for all your hard work, time and just being fab! You are welcome at the farm any time :) xxx

I had my hair sorted here by Elaine, took a couple of visits to get the exact colour I wanted having been ash blonde for 30 years, its a refreshing change to have balayage with some baby highlights. I love it & get so many compliments.

What a little gem! Stopped by one day after a little impromptu day out and this place was awesome! The staff were super lovely and it was great talking to them - they were all very happy and clearly love what they do which is awesome. The food was superb! I wish I could've finished my pizza but I was loaded up after a delicious Peanut butter latte. I was able to take the leftovers home which I devoured later on ehehe. Shame I don't live closer to the place as there are very few vegan places left. I'd certainly visit very regularly if it was nearer! Hope to visit again one day! 10/10 would highly recommend 👌

Absolutely love this place! The chef and staff are super friendly and attentive. The food is always superb, last time I had pancakes 🥞 and they were beautiful and equally tasty 😋👌 Added some more pictures of more amazing food and drinks from Figaro, mushroom soup and pumpkin spice latte! 👏🏻
