We have had a very positive experience of First Point Plumbing on two separate jobs. Communication was excellent and everything was completed to our satisfaction. Those who did the work were punctual, efficient and very pleasant to deal with. We would certainly use the company again.

Lewis and his team were amazing!! Before and after photos explain themselves. Very thorough, were very careful with our home, taping carpets and protecting our furniture. Isolating work to certain rooms, shutting doors and dusty labour confined to outside or the bathroom. They were very respectful cleaned up after themselves every day and were prompt. Lewis regularly checked in on the project throughout. Thank you so much we’re thrilled with the job and will be using Lewis’s firm again for work in the future. Thank you Kate & Andrew

I gave First Point a call and left an answerphone message and within 15 minutes, I had a call back and an appointment organised. Lewis came around on the Wednesday. I got a quote that night with a couple of options, arranged for them to come on the next Monday, paid for the top of the range boiler on Friday and the lads arrived on the Monday and removed the 20+ year old boiler and moved the new boiler to it's new home under the staircase, freeing up vital room in the bathroom for a shower, once the previous work has been completed. It was mostly done in a day, with the only problem being our house is so old, that there was 4ft thick walls to drill through, which took a lot longer than they expected. I would happily recommend First Point Plumbing to anyone, as the service has been exemplary.

Lewis and his lovely team have just fitted a downstairs cloakroom for us. From first visit through to the official clean up, the level of service was impeccable. The whole process was perfectly managed: we didn't have to worry about anything, which makes a welcome change! Every member of the team were professional, polite and cheerful - a joy to have in the house. We wholeheartedly recommend First Point Plumbing. Thank you so much.

I’d leave a higher rating if there was one! What can I say about the lovely ladies at FaceFacts. I’ve been going to the salon for a very long time now and the ladies always go above and beyond to make me feel a million dollars. Today, I decided to book a last minute online appointment , which I got wrong. 🙈Chloe, fitted me in without any hesitation. My nails are beautiful and I love them. Isabel has recently joined the salon, and has settled really well. She made me relaxed throughout my treatment, and explained each step thoroughly. A massive thank you and shout out to Jay, Francesca and Naomi for their truly exceptional service. I booked one of the last slots of the day and despite this all three were so kind, welcoming, great to chat to, professional and a good laugh. Jay did a fabulous job on my hair and has left it so refreshed, and I really appreciate the straightening at the end. Best hairdressers in bakewell and i will absolutely be back!

What a lovely little boutique salon 😍 I'm a repeat customer and won't go anywhere else now. I've had various treatments and have always been extremely happy every time. It's such a lovely and relaxed environment, all the staff are so friendly and helpful, they are all so knowledgeable, not just on the services they provide but the products they use too. A wonderful afternoon spent with the lovely ladies at this salon! Cozy, kind and friendly, and a gorgeous dog Molly who is the most well behaved salon dog I’ve ever met! Nails are beautifully done, and the massage was wonderful and we had such a great chat too. We felt so welcomed, offered any drink we could wish for! We are back tomorrow for more treatments and hurrying to book back at Christmas time- this is quite a hidden gem, I would highly recommend it!!

I had a lovely relaxing treatment from Alice . I had a most calm relaxed session and yet her powerful positive energy and knowledge of human body are brilliant. I would love to have this luxurious treatment regularly. Of course I will recommend the best experience from Alice to all my friends.

I booked an holistic massage with Alice having struggled with a chronic health problem for well over a year. Alice was so calm and welcoming, I instantly relaxed and told her all my aches and pains ( both physically and emotionally !) . Alice's treatment was gentle and yet powerful, it felt like her fingers located each pain centre and she just seemed to smooth it out of my body. Most incredibly, I have been suffering with a recurring sinus problem which cleared instantly, I can breathe again. Just heavenly x

Henman Dunn came recommended to us and I’m so glad we used them. They moved our boiler, fitted an unvented cylinder and removed our existing cylinder and water tank. Ashleigh quoted and understood everything than we wanted to do. Everything happened so smoothly. Nothing was a problem. Michael and George worked flat out. So courteous and respectful. Cleaned up after themselves and took all the rubbish away. We have an old house with lots of work to do, so this is one less job to do. We will definitely use them again. Thank you.

From the first call to completion of work, just brilliant. I can’t recommend them enough. The chap went over and above to ensure I had heating whilst he organised a new part I needed. I’m so grateful for the excellent service, both speedy and efficient. The details of what they offer, such as alerting you to when your next service will be due is brilliant as I tend to forget. Very reasonably priced and knowledgeable. I am very satisfied with the outcome and further advice. Definitely in my ‘to go to’ list. Thank you very much !

My boiler eventually died and within days Henman Dunn were on the case to get it sorted. George and Jak came to fit me a brand new combi boiler and also removed my water tank upstairs. They did a great job and I was surprised how quick they got it done with how big of a job it was. They cleaned up after themselves and I’m warm again! Definitely recommend them.

Thanks to Belinda for a magnificent Bespoke Body massage. It was a thoroughly relaxing and luxurious 60 minutes. The Botanicals products seemed very natural and soothing too. Botanicals is tucked down a side street in Bakewell, but make sure you don't miss out. It's best to book in advance.

I had a 1hr 30min massage and facial and oh my god. I felt like I was being healed by Mother Nature herself! The most authentic and real, kind and caring staff. I had a massage by a REALLY talented woman called Jay. I left feeling transformed and so well looked after. Honestly felt reborn afterwards and loved the building, the setting, the atmosphere. We've used Buxtons for a number of years, for business premises and home jobs alike. They've always been fantastic - clean, tidy, professional, on time and reliable. When my elderly mother recently had a fall and needed a bath removing and shower fitting, they were the only plumbers I'd trust for the job. As expected, the whole process was smooth and easy for my mum, from initial site visit through quote to install. I recently had two bathrooms fitted by Buxtons. At every stage from planning to the final piece they were excellent. Every person involved was friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. The work they carried out was to a high standard and carefully done. Each day they left everything clean and tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Great service came out same day to a broken boiler which was beyond repair. Said they could fit new next day which I couldn't do but came on second day & fitted new boiler in a day unfortunately there was a problem with the boiler.They came back next morning with a part for the boiler they had taken out of another new boiler. They fitted the part to make sure we had hot water over the weekend I could not have asked for better service Thank you

provided excellent service when our boiler broke in February. I spoke to Matt who was very helpful and knowledgeable and came out the same day to assess the issue, due to the boiler's age, a replacement was needed. Matt provided a quote (very reasonably priced) and prioritised our installation within a couple of weeks. professional, tidy, and explained everything thoroughly. I highly recommend him and will definitely be using again. Thanks also to Dave who fitted the new radiators we also had installed at the same time excellent service all round.

Matt fitted our heating/hot water boiler. Our boiler is in the loft, he covered the floor & stairs with mats to the loft. A very clean & tidy installation. Had Halo heating control which he helped me set up, (you can turn the heating on when not at home from your phone). Professional installation would definitely recommend.

Matt fitted me a new boiler in my loft area, which involved a lot of pipe work, from the change from old boiler in the previous kitchen space, a new logic combi boiler with halo. Because Matt did this job in good time this meant I was able to push on with my kitchen upgrade. A quality job and again very happy with the finished result. Will use Matt again for all future plumbing work required. Matt also fitted my bathroom and did all the tiling work - and did a great job, the finished look I am very happy with. Not an easy task for the tiling, as I chose small Metro tiles, so there was a lot of work to do to get these on the wall and grouted. Again, extremely pleased with the finished result and look.

George (Georgina) from Bridge Street Hair and Beauty did my hair for my wedding (see photo below). George was amazing to work with throughout. She was super professional, but also listened to what I wanted too, and really understood the romantic vibe I was going for. I was super happy with the result. Furthermore, George was really flexible, reliable and punctual, and really calm when everything was fairly crazy on the morning. It was lovely for her to be part of it and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone to do their wedding hair!

Last Friday my partner Sue and I attended a wedding in Sheffield. We I drove up from Surrey on Thursday (25th June 2015) and on the way decided to have look around Bakewell. As I walked past shop windows, I was horrified at the state of my hippie style hair which had been blown out of control. I knew that it would look a disaster for the wedding, so decided to get it cut. We tried four hairdressers who were all too busy (or frightened) to help. Then at about 4pm, Air Studio recommended Bridge Street Boutique. A lovely, friendly dark haired young lady who's name I didn't get, undertook the challenge and half an hour later I was transformed into an acceptable wedding guest. My thanks to her for one of the best cuts my hair has ever had. I'm 65 and have had quite a few ! Best wishes, Tony from Woking.
