What a lovely little boutique salon 😍 I'm a repeat customer and won't go anywhere else now. I've had various treatments and have always been extremely happy every time. It's such a lovely and relaxed environment, all the staff are so friendly and helpful, they are all so knowledgeable, not just on the services they provide but the products they use too. The range or services they offer means I don't have to go anywhere else for treatments. They have it all. It's absolutely worth travelling for if you're not in the area, you won't be disappointed. I had a lovely relaxing treatment from Alice . I had a most calm relaxed session and yet her powerful positive energy and knowledge of human body are brilliant. I would love to have this luxurious treatment regularly. Of course I will recommend the best experience from Alice to all my friends.

A wonderful afternoon spent with the lovely ladies at this salon! Cozy, kind and friendly, and a gorgeous dog Molly who is the most well behaved salon dog I’ve ever met! Nails are beautifully done, and the massage was wonderful and we had such a great chat too. We felt so welcomed, offered any drink we could wish for! We are back tomorrow for more treatments and hurrying to book back at Christmas time- this is quite a hidden gem, I would highly recommend it!!

I booked an holistic massage with Alice having struggled with a chronic health problem for well over a year. Alice was so calm and welcoming, I instantly relaxed and told her all my aches and pains ( both physically and emotionally !) . Alice's treatment was gentle and yet powerful, it felt like her fingers located each pain centre and she just seemed to smooth it out of my body. Most incredibly, I have been suffering with a recurring sinus problem which cleared instantly, I can breathe again. Just heavenly x

Last Friday my partner Sue and I attended a wedding in Sheffield. We I drove up from Surrey on Thursday (25th June 2015) and on the way decided to have look around Bakewell. As I walked past shop windows, I was horrified at the state of my hippie style hair which had been blown out of control. I knew that it would look a disaster for the wedding, so decided to get it cut. We tried four hairdressers who were all too busy (or frightened) to help. Then at about 4pm, Air Studio recommended Bridge Street Boutique. A lovely, friendly dark haired young lady who's name I didn't get, undertook the challenge and half an hour later I was transformed into an acceptable wedding guest. My thanks to her for one of the best cuts my hair has ever had. I'm 65 and have had quite a few ! Best wishes, Tony from Woking.

George (Georgina) from Bridge Street Hair and Beauty did my hair for my wedding (see photo below). George was amazing to work with throughout. She was super professional, but also listened to what I wanted too, and really understood the romantic vibe I was going for. I was super happy with the result. Furthermore, George was really flexible, reliable and punctual, and really calm when everything was fairly crazy on the morning. It was lovely for her to be part of it and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone to do their wedding hair!

Lewis and his team were amazing!! Before and after photos explain themselves. Very thorough, were very careful with our home, taping carpets and protecting our furniture. Isolating work to certain rooms, shutting doors and dusty labour confined to outside or the bathroom. They were very respectful cleaned up after themselves every day and were prompt. Lewis regularly checked in on the project throughout. Thank you so much we’re thrilled with the job and will be using Lewis’s firm again for work in the future. Thank you Kate & Andrew

Lewis and his lovely team have just fitted a downstairs cloakroom for us. From first visit through to the official clean up, the level of service was impeccable. We've used Buxtons for a number of years, for business premises and home jobs alike. They've always been fantastic - clean, tidy, professional, on time and reliable. When my elderly mother recently had a fall and needed a bath removing and shower fitting, they were the only plumbers I'd trust for the job. As expected, the whole process was smooth and easy for my mum, from initial site visit through quote to install. There was no mess and no fuss, everyone was where they said they would be when they said they would be. Brilliant customer service, fantastic job done, very happy mum. Thank you all very much!

Great service came out same day to a broken boiler which was beyond repair. Said they could fit new next day which I couldn't do but came on second day & fitted new boiler in a day unfortunately there was a problem with the boiler.They came back next morning with a part for the boiler they had taken out of another new boiler. They fitted the part to make sure we had hot water over the weekend I could not have asked for better service Thank you

I recently had two bathrooms fitted by Buxtons. At every stage from planning to the final piece they were excellent. Every person involved was friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. The work they carried out was to a high standard and carefully done. Each day they left everything clean and tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Excellent! Paul the plumber carried out the removal of our broken bathroom pedestal sink basin and replaced it with a new one. He was clearly highly experienced & completed the job quickly, efficiently, very neatly and also removed any debris & mess leaving the bathroom very clean and tidy. Paul was very polite, considerate, friendly and worked solidly without wasting any time.
The quote for the work was very competitive.
I would highly recommend 24/7 Plumbers Limited and will use them again for any plumbing work in future.

Excellent service and response! We had a problem with condensate drainage (it wasn't!). I rang 247 Plumber and the next day an engineer arrived to assess the job. The day after that I received a very reasonable quote and the day after that it was fixed. Brilliant!

What an amazing company! They fitted my new bathroom suit in 7 days from getting the qoute. Finished in 7 days! I still don't know how they managed it as it wasn't straight forward and threw several curve balls at them. Carnt recommend them highly enough. Beautiful job thank you so much.

We recently had some work done at our first home and got several quotes from different plumbers. We chose this team because of their quick response and excellent reviews, and they didn’t disappoint. Everyone had a great attitude, and when we noticed a small radiator leak, they returned promptly the next day to fix it at no extra cost. They completely redid our bathroom, installed three radiators, replaced the stop tap, and fitted two outdoor hot/cold taps. A great group of lads—honest, reliable, and competitively priced. Henman Dunn came recommended to us and I’m so glad we used them. They moved our boiler, fitted an unvented cylinder and removed our existing cylinder and water tank. Ashleigh quoted and understood everything than we wanted to do. Everything happened so smoothly. Nothing was a problem. Michael and George worked flat out. So courteous and respectful. Cleaned up after themselves and took all the rubbish away. We have an old house with lots of work to do, so this is one less job to do. We will definitely use them again. Thank you.

From the first call to completion of work, just brilliant. I can’t recommend them enough. The chap went over and above to ensure I had heating whilst he organised a new part I needed. Been going to Tansy for beauty for years and would definitely recommend her to anyone. She definitely does the best lashes around! Since she took over the hair too I’ve been twice and both times Ellen has coloured my hair perfectly. It’s the best colour I’ve had for years! Tansy did my wedding makeup and my bridesmaids makeup. Tansy stayed with us all morning from 7:30 until 11 she put us all at ease the whole time she was there making us laugh and feel relaxed. Tansy waited patiently while we had our hair done so that she could top up our makeup perfectly after we’d put on our dresses. She even helped with other little jobs while she was there like looking for the Flourist’s car. Our makeup looked fantastic and stayed perfectly all day even after dancing! Would definitely recommend for bridal makeup.

This salon came recommended to me by a friend. The girls here are fantastic, Sophie did my nails and she was fabulous - I felt so relaxed and comfortable. Tansy was great, did my make up for my (very) last minute COVID wedding and Ellen did my hair – they both were really accommodating and really went the extra mile to make sure I was happy.
