Good service at a good price. Roof was falling to bits and these guys replaced it and added extra insulation, the house is now dry and warm!

We used Steve's company to replace the roof on our quite large victorian house. We had quotes from a couple of other well known roofing companies and Steve's quote was competitive. The project was well managed and though, (due to weather) it went on longer than Steve or us would have liked it to have done, their communication was good and we knew when they were going to be onsite working. Overall they've done a great job of our roof and I would recommend Newbould to others. Happy to provide a reference too...

We called Neale in as we had no electricity in our bathroom and the fan in the downstairs loo was intermittent. We were very happy with Neale's work and he corrected the faults quickly. We would certainly use Neale Brendon in the future and recommend him for any electrical work.

Neale provided his expertise to replace an induction hob for my elderly mum, nothing was too much trouble; his service was quick and professional and he spent time to show my mum the controls and functions of the new appliance. Would highly recommend him as he is very polite and efficient to deal with.

We had our porch roof replaced in January and the guys did a great job. We've agreed for the new tiles, fascia and guttering however my partner spotted that the old rotten fascia was just covered with the new one, so he's asked for removing the old one and it got done. Overall effect was satisfactory and we would happily recommend FB Roofing.

Very professional and quoted an affordable price for me. Fred arrived when he said he would, job done straight away am very happy with the finished result. Fred is very knowledgeable and went into detail regarding root cause and fixing my roof. When he noticed anything he communicated straight away with the best solution. I had new fascias, soffits and guttering too as part of the overall package of work, looks great!. I'm happy with the way the work was carried out and I would not hesitate to recommend Fred as he would go the extra mile to make sure the job is done right.

Fred came to my property to look as to why my roof was leaking into my house.. having previously paid £££ on a new roof that was done by cowboys! Fred was recommended to me by a friend , he found the problem fixed it and not had a leak since!! Would highly recommend !!! This man knows what hes doing !! A+

Couldn’t recommend Lords Roofing & Sons enough. We had complications along the way as structural engineering drawings were missing calculations for beams needed. Thanks to Liam and his lads for spotting this, as this would have been a very costly mistake. We are very happy with how the extension hipped roof looks. Liam and his lads have given us loads of tips and advice as this is going to be a self build / renovation project.

We had our original slate roof completely redone after it took some major damage in the recent winter storms. Liam had some of the team out within a day to get us watertight until the works could be started. The team working on the house were very friendly and professional seeing the job done to a high standard ensuring we were happy with the results. Very reasonably priced for a great job, would thoroughly recommended them.

Working with Liam and the Lords team was so easy and pleasant, I wish I'd have gone straight to them in the first place rather than getting booked in, delayed and generally run around by other roofers! Liam was easy to communicate with, super responsive and up front about the work, costs and timings. Everything was scheduled in and communicated well by Laura. Any questions I had, they were quick to answer. When it came to the actual work, the team of roofers were fast, respectful and friendly. Led by Alex who was the nicest guy, funny and hard working, the team would arrive around 8ish and made sure they cleaned up at the end of every day to the point where it was actually cleaner than when they arrived! The got on so well with the neighbours, even entertaining the toddler next door who watched them from the window! The work was all completed faster than expected (mostly due to them bringing in extra guys who all worked well together) and to a good standard, the house and garage roofs now look perfect. Both Alex and Liam assured me that they guarantee their work and if there are any issues in the future they wouldn't hesitate to come round and sort anything out. Overall I couldn't have hoped for a better experience from Lords, thank you!

Recently got in touch with SJK electrical & property services to install a replacement integrated oven. He was actually on holiday when we contacted him but this did not stop him replying and arranging to come out on his return. He did a fabulous job, so professional. Had Steve back for a second job at our property (which says it all for a tradesperson!), this time fitting an EV charging point for us. If visiting Bolsover. Then the Sanctuary Inn is definitely the place to go for drinks or food. Steve the owner and all the lovely helpful staff always give you a warm friendly welcome, along with the talented chefs dishing up the finest of food at very reasonable prices Myself and my wife had the mixed Paella last night. Friday14th March. Fantastic flavours and a nice sized portion. Full to busting. The food and service given here is always second to none. Having sampled most of the food and tapas on the menus and the specials board. We can guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Sunday dinner is also a treat to be enjoyed. Sometimes with live music to enjoy with your dinner. Once the weather picks up and warmer days arrive There is a walled beer garden to the rear of the Inn. Where you can sit and enjoy food or drinks in the fantastic sun trap, with fruit trees and flowers it is a really pleasant setting. We mostly take our dog Ruby with us. So if you’re a dog owner, lover. You are welcome at this dog friendly venue to bring along your family friend with you. Drinking water bowls always available for your dog. So what’s not to like. Give it a try. PS. Make sure you try Steve’s special freshly made Sangria. Dave, Jilly and Ruby dog.

Beautiful location and a beautiful building. The owner Steve and the staff are the loveliest people, very welcoming and friendly/chatty. Really made us feel at home as soon as we arrived to check in. The Lavender room is relaxing and oozes luxury and comfort. The food was perfection - we ordered the sirloin and my compliments to the chef, ultimate happy dancing! First night and such a strong impression has been made, we are already planning a second visit and looking forward to the rest of our stay, going home will be hard.

We've had Sunday dinner several times since The Sanctuary changed hands . It's always been good but yesterday it was excellent. The biggest change was that instead of a dish of boiled vegetables they now serve diced, roasted root vegetables along with red cabbage and broccoli spears ( on the plate) which were so full of flavour . The cauliflower cheese was delicious with a crisp cheese topping . For desert I had the Bakewell tart with custard , my husband had tiramisu and both were very tasty . The staff were so friendly and attentive which made the whole dining experience a pleasure We will certainly be going back and can highly recommend

Absolutely recommend Josh and we haven't even had the work carried out as yet but we’re more than confident it will be spot on. Communication was outstanding, Josh turned up when he said he would and it was on a Sunday!!! Very polite and professional. He found the problem and is going to sort it. I will only be recommending JGR roofing from now on to my friends, family & clients as so many tradesman can't even answer the phone let alone turn up when promised. I've been going to Kim at Beautique for nearly four years and even after I moved 30 miles away, I still go to her for my brows, facials, and massages. She and her staff are fantastic and so professional. They care about their clients happiness and wellbeing and in my opinion that is not always easy to find. You need to do yourself a favour and visit Beautique, you will not be sorry.
