I would definitely recommend Dean over everyone else, he came out to us the day after we rang him, not like some of the others we tried, he was very thorough with what he was going to do to with the unwelcome mice we had, he explained everything and the problem of the mice was quickly resolved. So I can't thank Dean enough, definitely 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had the pleasure of meeting Steve this afternoon. Arrived 2 hours after initial call and he is so polite and professional. Explained exactly what he could do, how long it would take and what results to expect. Steve was very respectful of property and wasted no time in dealing with the wasps. Cost was very reasonable and no mess left. I would highly recommend Steve and his company to anyone needing pest control

Quickest service in the West! I've sent Steve an email regarding a wasp hive, and the next day he calls me to discuss it in more detail and within half an hour he was already at my door. The hive was dealt with smoothly, and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommend using Quick Pest Management for any pest issues!

Superb service, would recommend to anyone having to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to their beloved pet. My beautiful Sasha passed peacefully at home on the 20/03/2025 at a grand age of 13. Never felt rushed in the process, and our girls ashes were delivered promptly after with a handwritten card which was a really nice touch. Last week, we realised the time had come and we had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to Bruce, our beloved Chocolate Lab of almost 12 & a half years. He was a gentle giant, who brought our young family so much joy. He was loving and loyal until the very end. Rob and Pets At Rest were recommended to us by a friend. Rob is incredibly considerate, professional and accommodating. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone else who has to make the same difficult decision that we did. We take so much comfort in knowing that Bruce's final moments were spent peacefully at home, being stroked and cuddled off to sleep by his loving family.

If you're reading this then the chances are you're considering making that heart breaking decision that all we need help and guidance with. Let me assure you, you're in safe hands with Rob. I thought I'd add to the wonderful reviews as i found them so re-assuring when making that decision for myself. I contacted Rob by e-mail initially when trying to figure out what the procedure would be and to prepare myself mentally. As soon as Rob replied i knew he was a gentle soul, and he took time and effort with his replies. I felt more comforted by Rob's presence than my own vet. My Border Terrier, Poppy, aged 15, was declining and my vet told me it was a matter of weeks. As she was struggling with her breathing i made the decision for Rob to visit us at home. Poppy and I spent our last days and nights cuddled up in bed together and i had chance to say my final goodbyes. Rob turned up on time, and guided us calmly through the whole procedure, always giving us as much time as we needed. Poppy passed away peacefully in the comfort of our own home. I was kept in the loop about when i could expect to receive her ashes back, and she was duly brought home again from Old Flatts Farm 3 days later by Dan. Rob was calm, compassionate, patient and understanding, and made the whole difficult experience as human as it could be. Thank you to Rob & Dan, it was very much appreciated how you handled everything.

I called Rob at 8am on the morning 20th March in need of help for my dog Kayden. We went on our last walk together, with treats and cuddles and Rob was with me by 11am. I was put at ease straight away. I was given time with Kayden and the whole process was very calm and peaceful. A sedative was given where he drifted off to sleep and then over the Rainbow 🌈 Bridge. Rob was very professional and gave all the time I needed. I really cant thank you enough for everything and for bringing a peaceful ending for my best buddy. Miriam is by far the most amazing vet I have ever known, she is kind and she is compassionate and puts the animals needs first. We were so fortunate to have an appointment with Miriam one day, the day she figured out a diagnosis which gave us four extra precious years with our dog. Our dog was extremely poorly and miriam knew the cause of his health issues and for those four years she was a constant support and amazing vet for our dog talking us through everything and our options every step of the way. We have recently lost our beloved Henry now and it gave us comfort knowing she was there when he crossed the rainbow bridge. Everything about this vet practice is outstanding even down to the lovely girls on reception but I have to give my upmost thanks and gratitude to miriam she is just a beautiful, wonderful soul!!

Miriam is the BEST ever. I have taken 3 of my dogs to this vets & I love them. Charlotte is also wonderful. Miriam saved our rescue dogs life. Gave empathetic advice regarding one of our old dogs, who sadly had to go to heaven & operated on our pug who sadly lost an eye. All with amazing care & after care. Miriam is an angel in disguise. The majority of the team here are wonderful & kind, caring and compassionate.

Rats. Weird things, but however much we appreciate their intelligence they're not good house guests. Chris really helped calm my partner with his relaxed authority and reassurance, and making us aware this is never a quick fix, which is vitally important. I'm certain the rats have moved on (or died) now but would have no hesitation in calling Musca at any time in the future.

I’ve recently had to use Chris due to having mice in my kitchen cupboards and loft. If you ever find yourself in the same situation then I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him.He visited my house four times in total,the first three times two weeks apart and then the last time left it a month just to make sure that the mice had gone.He’s reliable and reasonable and he’d be the first person I’d call if I ever have any more problems in the future.

Flea expert - thank you so much Chris for helping me when really needed. I’ve had 2 treatments and been really impressed with how polite, punctual and knowledgeable Chris is. He alleviates any worries and gives advice even over text which is amazing when support is needed for an infestation. I look forward to having my home back in a few weeks. Brilliant service! Chris is helpful, responsive and effective. Had three visits from Chris as we noticed we may have rats in the basement - he got rid of the problem quickly and gave us advices what to do to avoid having this problem in the future. My cleaner, Dominika whom I've had for well over a year now is so lovely. She does a very thorough job, she's always on time, and if there's anything I want her to do in particularly that's not the usual clean, she will always do a lovely job. Simon who is the person that sorts out the office side of things is brilliant at getting back to me if I have a query, he is very efficient and honest. The service is excellent value for money and such a great help to me. Being someone who is poorly, and not as a capable as I used to be, its hard to keep up with cleaning that requires a bit of elbow grease! But with Poppies and Dominika it's all sorted for me and is a great weight off my mind. Thank You Poppies and Dominika. 😊

Thank goodness for Ellie! It’s amazing to have a vet who knows and loves guinea pigs so much. Coco has only just started her treatment but I’m feeling really at ease knowing she’s under Ellie’s care and expertise. The option of her video appointments for advice is also very helpful and reasonably priced.

Ellie is amazing and very knowledgeable. We travelled 1.5 hours to see Ellie and it was worth it. I've never seen any other vet health check my guineapig like she did, and making sure my piggy has the correct pain relief after her eye removal. Nice to talk to a vet who knows what's she talking about with piggies

So unbelievably grateful for both Ellie and the rest of the team at Derwent Valley Vets! They have been incredible in treating one of our guinea's who sadly had to have his eye removed after our previous vets showed little interest in adapting his care or changing his antibiotics despite little improvement in a month. When we came to Ellie, we were scared we were going to lose him; we knew we were close to the point of no return. Ellie and the team have absolutely given our boy his life back; even with one eye he is much more himself than we have seen him be in the last 2 months and we're so thankful. Even now, 2 weeks post surgery, we are in constant communication with the team, sending regular updates and receiving brilliant advice. I cannot praise this team enough! We travel 3 hours to see them, and will gladly do so for anything so important again because the standard of care is unbeatable. Oh, and they provided double the amount of treatment for half the price we were quoted elsewhere, so pricing is absolutely incredible value for the skills these guys have. Much love to everyone in the surgery, thanks for all you do!

I needed to leave a review with regards to the kindness and compassion shown by Sabrina (vet) that came out to my home. Diesel was no longer able to stand and after having him in my life for 14 years I had to let him go. Sabrina was amazing, she explained everything that she was doing, all the time listening to me ramble, without judgement just kindness. She fussed him and made him feel relaxed, just looking at his reaction to her, I could tell he trusted her, which was a great comfort. Melissa (receptionist) was also so kind and friendly when I had spoken to her and also when I paid. They really are a credit to the profession. It is so obvious that they are there because of their love of animals not just because it's a job. Thank you so much for everything Karen

Gino arrived within a couple of hours of my phone call and identified our problem very swiftly. Remedial action was undertaken immediately and two follow up visits ensured that everything was secured. I cannot recommend this service too highly - excellent attention to detail, clear explanations and timely follow up visits. We will not hesitate to call Gino again if the need arises!

Gino was exceptional. Prompt in his response and visits. He was successful in clearing the pests and has arranged the property so it doesn’t have the same issue again. Pricing of the service was fair. He arranged a drainage service that we needed and this was helpful. I would 100% recommend Gino’s services.

Amazing service, great guy would highly recommend. We have had an issue in our garage loft where rodents were getting in, I tried traps, baits blocking what I thought were entry points. All of this with no success. I called Urgent Pest Control after reading there Google reviews, Gino visited promptly to carry out a survey and set some traps, luckily whatever was in loft had left as the traps were empty after two weeks of being set. Gino returned today and installed gutter brushes and mesh. Would 100% recommend this company. Thanks again.

Not all hero’s wear capes…….. some wear wear coveralls and a respirator. Gino came at very short notice after we had just moved into our new house and found we had a flea infestation. he is the ultimate professional, he explained absolutely everything he was going to do and clearly explained what we would Also have to do to make his visit as effective as possible. He sprayed and fumigated the house and again made sure we fully understood his aftercare advice. I haven’t seen a flea since and I would not hesitate to recommend his services and would definitely use him in the future. It’s great when you find someone so knowledgeable who gets great results and actually seems to care. Thanks again Gino
