Very happy with the work completed by Tony. I needed my whole chimney breast replastering due to the previous owners doing a poor job of boarding up the fireplace and plastering over the top of it. Tony's expertise in this area meant I was able to avoid future hassle by highlighting what needed doing, including adding a vent to the boarded up fireplace to give it decent air flow to avoid a build up of condensation. Tony was punctual, professional and didn't mess around with getting the job done to an incredible standard. Would highly recommend T H Building and Plastering, and would definitely use again.

I try to use local tradesmen whenever possible and I came across NRC Roof Services. They came out and found out where my problem lied and quoted me for the repair. The quote was lower than I anticipated and I asked them to carry out the repairs. They talked me through every stage of the repair and explained exactly what they were doing. After the work was completed they meticulously cleaned everything up. Several days later I discovered another leak in a different area of the roof and called them out again. They found the problem and offered to do the repair at no extra cost. I'd have no hesitation in using them again and recommending them to others. First class service.

Gav has done loads of work I'm my home since I bought it. From plastering to bespoke shelves and cupboards, skirting boards to hanging door, he does it all including some teaching along the way. I couldn't recommend him enough!

Gav has done so much work on our house over the years - from bespoke carpentry (like benches and wardrobes) and plastering, to laying a patio and fitting a bathroom - and not only is he very skilled, but he's also a super nice guy and very fairly priced. He'll tell you what he's going to do, he arrives on time and then does the work. You literally couldn't ask for anything else.

The question you should really be asking yourself is why would you not get Gav in? Offers up clear and fair estimates and a real attention to detail in what he delivers; little things like a proper clean up of the area or looking to maximise the use of the materials purchased, just go a long way to cermet a top-notch service. He's also just a really nice guy. I've engaged him a few times now and is absolutely my go-to to get projects done I can't/won't do myself.

John and the team provided a full repoint of the front of the house, and patches to the side and back as well as some roof tile changes. I was impressed throughout, with John being very communicative on availability and staying in touch whilst the right availability and weather arrived. At the start of the job the team worked very hard in extreme heat to complete the work to a very high standard and finish with a great attention to detail. It was a very messy job with lots of dust and debris but the team cleaned all this up without a sign of dust or rubble, with the upmost curtesy to our neighbours, including hosing down their house due to the dust. I would highly recommend John and the team for any future project you have.

John has done two roofing jobs for me . He successfully repaired a leak to my flat roof which another company had failed to do. Lucky and Son fitted a 17ft (5m by 3m) by 10ft metal garage which required bolting to the ground. Also, the garage assembly required 100s of screws to be fitted. They provided a professional quality service, fitting the garage exceptionally, preceded by a quick prompt honest transparent quote. All this was carried out with humility and character.
