Easy 5 stars for me. Have completed MOT’s on my cars for the last 6 years - always friendly & efficient. Very quick and I’ve never felt like their trying to get more money out of me. Communication is top notch and they’ve often gone out of their way to help me out - I couldn’t get back to the garage in time for closing last time, so they dropped my car off at my house and left the invoice on the seat. Will continue to use them for years to come I’m sure.

Good speedy service, happy with the price. I'm a courier and was working in the area when I noticed one of my front tyres was showing canvas and needed replacing ASAP, called them up and they managed to fit me in a couple of hours later. Changed both front tyres in 40 minutes and I was away, able to carry on working. Very happy with the service!

I had an issue with my air con and called and spoke to Josh. He managed to fit me in the very next day, even though they were fully booked with other jobs. It was fixed by the end of the day. I've used Astbury & Taylor for several years now for repairs, servicing & MOT's. Great garage that gives honest advice.

They came out and towed my car within the hour. The mechanic found the cause immediately. He told me roughly the cost and delivered my car back to my address once the garage had repaired the fault. Excellent helpful staff and good on price, will definitely use this garage in future.

Can't recommend Matlock Green Garage enough. They've saved me on a number of occasions when my car has packed up, each time I've needed my car to be fixed same day due to work commitments and they've always worked hard to get it fixed as soon as possible. Car once again gave up on me today and they came and recovered it a few minutes later. Now waiting while they get it sorted for me so that I can hopefully get to work in a few hours. Great service and very helpful folk!

We stopped at Matlock MOT centre on the way to a family funeral. My fuel cap was locked shut and we couldn't fill up and stopped here in an emergency. The guys were very busy but found 10 minutes to help out a family in need. Forever greatful to you all. Thank you.

Popped in this morning as my car had developed an odd fault where the wipers would not switch off. Car still under warranty but wanted to take the wiper arms off for my 40 mile drive home. Couldn't do the work due to the volume of vehicles waiting but very kindly lent me a spanner so I could remove them myself. Super friendly team saving me saving me a frustrating drive home. Absolutely fantastic service with my MOT recently. The place is also kept spotless and is a very professional set up. First time I'd used them but definitely shan't be the last - highly recommendable.

So pleased i have finally found a local garage that i have total confidence in. No job is to big or small for Scott! He always treats his customers, be they male or female, with utter respect and communicates clearly what needs to be done to the car and makes sure i understand what problems have occurred. Excellent and friendly service and good advice. Two years ago during Covid the dealer I bought the car from in 2017 told me I needed a new battery. Scott told me it was because of low mileage and to wait until I was using the car more. £400 saved and battery still fine. Same story with discs. Good man. One very satisfied customer

I am delighted to find this independent garage one year into my relocation back to Derbyshire - my experiences with other local garages up to this point have been a bit hit and miss! This month I have had an MOT (fitted in at short notice) and today, a small service on my elderly Mercedes SLK. It is so refreshing to find a garage which is knowledgeable, reliable and courteous - but also enthusiastic and friendly - offering good practical advice and good value for money. I really feel that Scott does what is necessary very well and gives clear guidance about checks which may be beneficial in the future. I now have peace of mind and importantly have a garage I am entirely happy to use in future. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I would highly recommend this garage, very knowledgeable, did full service, found brake fluid was in need of changing and a nail in one tyre, checked with me first then sorted all out. Friendly and good value.
