Sometimes you miss the nice places that are on your own doorstep. Today we found the Long Barn. Had a nice time mooching around and then a good value cafe and coffee. Attentive and happy staff and lovely surroundings. Thank you for our great visit. We will be back

A really nice place to visit .. it was my first time there.. & will definitely return soon.. . Such nice friendly staff.. I don't think I've visited any business, in recent year's, that have impressed me more.. excellent... I do not have a garden/ or allotment any more.. just window sills/an a few troughs outside back door... but you don't need a garden to get enjoyment from here... Lovely... Depending on what you look at.. prices are either good.. or no thanks ( what?). . Cafe was expensive...( glad I wasn't paying). Shame,, because it spoilt experience,, Breakfast looking good.. but didn't live upto description on menu.. was OK.. but wasn't really nice.. & definitely not for the price.. ( I even left some of mine, as did my family). Shall definitely return..( maybe a coffee,, but avoid food).

Fantastic place to fund and sample. A picturesque barn, with shop and cafe tucked away in the hills. You can smell the lavender as soon as you're out of the car, the carpark is moderate but sizeable. The shop is sprawling and wraps around to meet at the cafe and gardens respectfully. From food, to dog stuff, BBQ and garden elements. Even candles and clothing it has a wide range. The cafe was the reason we went, it was pouring with rain but added to the atmosphere inside. There was outdoor seating but we stayed indoors. Seated quickly the staff were great, all the girls who attended had beaming smiles, very friendly and very quick with the orders. Even remembering key details from a 3yr old. The sample of cakes was great, from Lemon and Lavender, banana and passionfruit to coffee cake. The carrot cake was too moist for personal taste, but still good flavours. Great venue, and moderately priced, one to go back to.

Coffee and patisserie were excellent and the cafe had both indoor and outdoor seating and although it was quite popular we didn't have to wait long to be seated and there were plenty of tables. Staff were friendly and efficient and the prices quite reasonable. The lavender fields behind the Long Barn are free to visit and very relaxing. I guess that must be the scent from the lavender! There is free parking on site, however there don't seem to be many spaces and I imagine it's busy at the weekends. We visited mid-week and had no problems.

Food is great. Staff are SO friendly, I said I was disappointed that they didn't have the chicken caesar salad special and they asked the chef if he was able to make it custom for me. They were very reassuring about allergies.

A beautiful little tea room. The people were super friendly and for the price, the portion sizes were amazing. The only let down was the chicken katsu sandwich, it wasn't the best and the salad leaves on the plates weren't washed which wasn't the nicest unfortunately. I would definitely come back though, the savoury scones were amazing.

Lovely little tea room hidden away down an alleyway. Freindly staff with good menu including gluten free options. Limited seating inside or in the courtyard. Excellent cream tea. Good value for money.

We hired the upstairs of Audreys for my sister in laws hen party. Ruth went out of her way to accommodate us, regularly checking we were happy and if there was anything they could do to help. She even went out to Robert Dyas to buy a fan as it was an unseasonably hot day! She catered to our individual dietary requirements and i don’t think there was anything else she could have done to make it more of a success. The food was amazing and plenty of it (she even gave us boxes to take leftovers home). Highly recommend x

Today we visited Audrey’s Tea Rooms for an afternoon tea to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The detail that went into the set up was amazing. Ruth had gone out of her way to make sure there was a clock hanging above our heads in recognition of one year being married. She also had set the table up with the beauty and the beast rose and garland and prosecco glasses…Beauty and The Beast is my absolute favourite Disney film ever!!!! The food was fresh, super tasty and there was so much of it I had to take a cake home to enjoy for later. Absolutely outstanding and would recommend anyone visiting Winchester to visit. Thank you so much for making our special day perfect!!!!

I am a Japanese couple who visited here at the beginning of the year a year ago. We had hot chocolate and milk and had afternoon tea for the first time in the UK. There were photos of the British Special Forces during World War II in the shop, and I was curious about them, so I asked the waiter about them. He gave me detailed information and I was very impressed. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you.

Lots of interesting gifts plants and food. Long Barn is not quite unique but a very special place. They must take a long time planing to make everything perfect, from the quality of the Clothes to gifts and a special service in the Cafe. This is a very exclusive venue accessible by all. The displays and attention to detail is fantastic and the indoor plant area displays are something special. We had some very good service in the Cafe and the food was of a very high standard. Small carefully thought out outdoor display and lavender fields.

We were invited to join a friend for Sunday lunch, hadn't been before. Pub looks a bit unprepossessing on first impressions, but the staff were friendly and our roast meal was delicious, as was dessert. Reasonably priced and we will definitely return! 😊

We popped in from the street seeing that it was a typical English proper pub, we were made so very welcome by Lorraine, we felt at home, the locals were engaging, the drinks delicious and a fair price, there was good banter and we stayed much longer that we planned to. Love this pub. You can go out to villages and pop into a pub and have an over priced beer with gastro pub pretence. Or you can come to the eagle a very welcoming old school village pub. Good food and good character.

This is a proper old boozer. Old fashioned in its decor but I like that. The service is always quick and staff are friendly. Nice outside seating area too. The menu has something for everyone and the food I had was quick and really lovely. The menu is well priced too. Lovely village pub

Went today and didn’t expected it to be that busy. Ordered vegetarian breakfast and must say we loved it. Decent prices as compared to other places and considering inflation. Special shout out to staff,they were swamped with customers & still offered top class service respectful, polite and helpful. Keep up the good work and thank you👏

The food was nice. Staff very helpful. As I am disabled the staff kindly brought my tray over to the table. The space between the tables was actually of a good size. I thought that the price was a little high. However, It is important to acknowledge the recent price increases.

Love this place, well managed great service friendly staff. Austin and the team are amazing. Always clean and welcoming no matter what time of day. Food service is fast and delivered with a smile or a bit of banter. Thanks guys

Tasty food and fast service from welcoming staff. A very pleasant place to wait before taking an assessment nearby and decompress afterwards ☺️ Breakfast was pecan pie with a Bakewell latte. Lunch was the dark chocolate brownie and a mocha 😋

Coffee #1 Andover is a great place to grab a coffee and a bite to eat. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend the pesto chicken panini. I really enjoyed my pesto pasta and coffee today at lunchtime. Greeted by smiling staff and although there was a queue out the door, I was served very quickly and the staff seemed positive. My food and coffee arrived in good time, I asked a staff member to wipe the table (I could see they were very busy) but he was happy to, and did so with a smile. It felt Christmassy, and also dog friendly! Will be coming back again!

A lovely warm welcome cafe, situated in new Alresford. Would definitely recommend coming here to try out the delicacies, some cakes here I haven't seen anywhere else.

Top notch coffee, fresh salad and tasty sandwiches/pastries. We particularly enjoyed the fresh salads and fast/friendly service. Great value and highly recommended!

Our order came quite quickly. Friendly atmosphere, friendly services. Very good selections of food and cakes.
